If you haven't tried using Yelp to acquire quotes from businesses such as dash cam and installation retailers, it's pretty convenient and many service type businesses will reach out to you. After sending an inquiry about purchasing and installation of a dash cam, one of the first businesses that reached out to me was DV Audio and Customs. Besides DV Audio, several other businesses contacted me and I immediately decided on DV Audio because of the professionalism and thoroughness of Dennis and Paola. They answered several questions I posed to them and although I probably could have shopped around for a better deal, I decided to have DV Audio take care of my dash cam need solely based on the professionalism and customer service, but besides those much clamored for qualities, I got even more once the job was completed. DV Audio is located in Escondido specifically within a small business park where other service type businesses are located. I don't remember if there were other tenants, but as soon as you turn into Wineridge, you'll turn right into the first driveway and you'll see the DV Audio signage. The exact address for DV Audio is 2080 Wineridge Suite D. The shop can be found by taking 15 North or 15 South exiting off of Valley Parkway and heading west. There are two parts of Escondido where car dealers are located, which is the east side and west side of Escondido. DV Audio is located close to the west side of car dealers. I received great customer service from Paola from start to finish for my dash cam project. Prior to setting up an appointment with DV Audio to have them install a dash cam, I stopped by their shop to ask them questions. The primary thing I wanted to ask them was whether they price match because at the time, Amazon Prime Days were going on. My intent was to buy a dash cam on Amazon and then have DV Audio install it. When I asked about price matching, Paola informed me that they do price match on a specific Red Tiger dash cam, but not on the higher end Red Tiger dash cam. She also informed me that it would be better if I purchased the dash cam from her because then it would be under warranty, which was great information to have. Another reason to have work done by DV Audio is that their business is military veteran friendly and they do military discounts for Army Veterans like me. If you pay cash for the work they do, there is a cash discount and who doesn't like savings. Besides all of these positives, they are also efficient and respect people's time. I dropped off my car at my appointment time of 9:30am and I was notified that they were done at 10:44am. When their technician was installing my dash cam, they found rust build up on the inside side wall of my dash, which I would have never found if not for their technician letting me know. This information was invaluable because I'm going to have the car dealer check it out. Lastly, Paolo provided more quality customer service after the work was completed by spending time with me going over the features of the dash cam. If you're ever in the market for a dash cam and installation of that dash cam, before you purchase, I highly recommend you contact or visit DV Audio and Customs to purchase the dash cam and have them do the installation. Customer service, expediency, and thoroughness from start to finish is why they should be the only shop you visit for dash cam service. I also noticed vintage cars in their shop, so if you own vintage cars, you might want to check what type of service they do for vintage cars.

I had a front and rear dash cam installed (hardwire). The job was done right....works perfectly and love the care in running the wiring and setting everything up....I got to meet Dennis and Paola both and they are fantastic people. I highly recommended them and when you go you'll see right away that this is where you want to get your work done. Easy to find location. Great work and great pricing.

When I arrived from Northern CA my brother showed me the list and inspection report including a smog. It was very detailed including new tires, oil, sensor, battery, full inspection, and other items. I looked over everything they did on the car and it had been done! I had one minor issue so I stopped by the shop where I was greeted by 2 employees and the owner. The shop was very clean and laid out nicely. They obviously took great pride in this shop. They were very friendly and immediately took my car in and put it on the rack. The owner showed me my concern (was listed in the inspection) and I felt the interaction was very positive and nothing that needed to be addressed immediately. The car runs excellent and I felt that WOW is a very honest, trustworthy, and transparent shop. To find a shop like this is very hard, based on my past experiences with dealerships (I can tell you stories where I get charged $65 to replace a cabin filter-which was never done). The price that was paid for the services was reasonable and fair. I was very impressed with the owner and staff. I would not hesitate to HIGHLY RECOMMEND WOW!

I spoke with Randy Davis a Service Advisor. I then went on to ask him about my scratched up paint (there is a lot of scratches) on the sides of my car. He tried to rub a couple of them out to no avail. He suggested I take my car to someone that details cars and they could probably get the scratches out which would be cheaper than having the whole car repainted. Randy was very considerate, patient and answered all my questions. I highly recommend their business and will use them in the future if I need some body work done.

The dealership quoted me a little over $1,000 for the fix. I decided to file a claim with GEICO, and they recommended one of their approved mechanics, Caliber Collision, which was the closest to me. I'm so glad they did. Caliber's quote was less than half the dealership's price (and under deductible) and included OEM parts. The service was incredibly efficient. They inspected the car immediately, the parts arrived the very next morning, and the repair was completed promptly. Randy in the office provided some of the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. He was fantastic from the start, explaining everything in detail, answering all my questions, and ensuring the entire process was seamless. Highly recommended!

These guys are what they are, a sludge lot. They do it well, and are very professional, but just…read morerealize if you're coming here to buy a car or truck that's under $10k and has a steam-cleaned engine and 200k miles, it's probably got a few issues. They cleaned it up to look and run great today, but definitely take anything you buy here to a mechanic you trust, and don't buy anything here unless you're ready to spent a little fixing it up. Don't get me wrong, Randy's a great guy, but he's selling you a serviceable car, not a perfect one to be a daily driver for your college-bound kid.

Randy was gracious to stay at the shop until we arrived at 7PM. Showed us the car, provided all the maintenance records for the car (CARFAX) and let us take it for a test drive. We loved the car for her and felt very comfortable dealing with Randy. It's not your stereotypical used car lot and Randy is not that shady salesman you all know. He's a truly nice man and you can see that within the first few minutes. He cut us an amazing deal and took care of us through and through. It's too bad she lives in Arizona because Randy is also an honest mechanic (don't find them too often) and I wish she would be closer if she needed that. All in all we spent more time enjoying good conversation with Randy than we did for the transaction. Transaction took about 10 minutes but we could've spent all night chatting with such a nice humble guy. The world needs more like him. I don't recommend too many people but this one is special.
