Last Christmas, my family gifted me cash for me to purchase a dash cam with installation labor for…read moremy car. If you haven't tried using Yelp to acquire quotes from businesses such as dash cam and installation retailers, it's pretty convenient and many service type businesses will reach out to you. After sending an inquiry about purchasing and installation of a dash cam, one of the first businesses that reached out to me was DV Audio and Customs. Besides DV Audio, several other businesses contacted me and I immediately decided on DV Audio because of the professionalism and thoroughness of Dennis and Paola. They answered several questions I posed to them and although I probably could have shopped around for a better deal, I decided to have DV Audio take care of my dash cam need solely based on the professionalism and customer service, but besides those much clamored for qualities, I got even more once the job was completed. DV Audio is located in Escondido specifically within a small business park where other service type businesses are located. I don't remember if there were other tenants, but as soon as you turn into Wineridge, you'll turn right into the first driveway and you'll see the DV Audio signage. The exact address for DV Audio is 2080 Wineridge Suite D. The shop can be found by taking 15 North or 15 South exiting off of Valley Parkway and heading west. There are two parts of Escondido where car dealers are located, which is the east side and west side of Escondido. DV Audio is located close to the west side of car dealers. I received great customer service from Paola from start to finish for my dash cam project. Prior to setting up an appointment with DV Audio to have them install a dash cam, I stopped by their shop to ask them questions. The primary thing I wanted to ask them was whether they price match because at the time, Amazon Prime Days were going on. My intent was to buy a dash cam on Amazon and then have DV Audio install it. When I asked about price matching, Paola informed me that they do price match on a specific Red Tiger dash cam, but not on the higher end Red Tiger dash cam. She also informed me that it would be better if I purchased the dash cam from her because then it would be under warranty, which was great information to have. Another reason to have work done by DV Audio is that their business is military veteran friendly and they do military discounts for Army Veterans like me. If you pay cash for the work they do, there is a cash discount and who doesn't like savings. Besides all of these positives, they are also efficient and respect people's time. I dropped off my car at my appointment time of 9:30am and I was notified that they were done at 10:44am. When their technician was installing my dash cam, they found rust build up on the inside side wall of my dash, which I would have never found if not for their technician letting me know. This information was invaluable because I'm going to have the car dealer check it out. Lastly, Paolo provided more quality customer service after the work was completed by spending time with me going over the features of the dash cam. If you're ever in the market for a dash cam and installation of that dash cam, before you purchase, I highly recommend you contact or visit DV Audio and Customs to purchase the dash cam and have them do the installation. Customer service, expediency, and thoroughness from start to finish is why they should be the only shop you visit for dash cam service. I also noticed vintage cars in their shop, so if you own vintage cars, you might want to check what type of service they do for vintage cars.

I'm so glad they did. Caliber's quote was less than half the dealership's price (and under deductible) and included OEM parts. The service was incredibly efficient. They inspected the car immediately, the parts arrived the very next morning, and the repair was completed promptly. Randy in the office provided some of the best customer service I've experienced in a long time. He tried to rub a couple of them out to no avail. He suggested I take my car to someone that details cars and they could probably get the scratches out which would be cheaper than having the whole car repainted. Randy was very considerate, patient and answered all my questions. I highly recommend their business and will use them in the future if I need some body work done.

Well-oiled machine!!! Pun intended and unintended! Nolan & David (owners and among the mechanics), Lewis (front desk & office manager), Taylinn (receptionist and scheduler) are extremely friendly, personable, down-to-earth; it's like talking to friends even when you just meet them for first time! They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, AND HONEST! They are family owned and operated from the owners running it and being among the mechanics to one of the daughters being the receptionist to one of the wives being the behind-the-scenes office manager, love that; I especially seek out such local businesses. They don't take advantage of you including me, a customer that is obviously not that knowledgeable about cars. They are so honest and take pride in their work ethic and hard work that they told me that I can just get a new battery that my dad originally bought somewhere else since it was still under warranty instead of deceiving me to be greedy by not telling me at all and charge me hundreds of dollars more for part and labor, but they told me straight up which saved me and they earned my trust and gained a lifelong customer which earns them lots more business from me in the future. They also gave me a very detailed itemized breakdown of all the work they do before doing it, give me the price of each, their tiered urgent to recommended hierarchy of work to be done and parts and details of what each work to the point that they explain simply, plainly, and patiently like down to the anatomy from top to bottom of the car. For instance, one job required disassembly and inspection and part replacement to proper reassembly of steering wheel system of just one small yet important part but required overnight work despite all day work but it goes to show how thorough and efficient they are AND they provided rental car at their own expense so I can have my own transportation back home and back again next day knowing that I live another town away 40 minutes away; they don't leave me stranded. And they provide free transportation to another place within 5-10 miles for me to hang out (for me, I chose the library so I can do work while I wait) for which they have set up for all customers to point that they use a car just for shuttling. And the mechanics they employ are also hardworking and knowledgeable. Shop is clean and nice-looking. Their prices are very reasonable especially for 10 separate jobs/services they did because I inherited my Kia Soul that was neglected for 5 years. It's like getting 5-star service at a 5-star hotel, customer service, and concierge.....of all places, at a mechanic!!! What?! Never encountered such service and business run anywhere! On top of all that I paid $2000 for a coolant leak and a brake job that wasn't even done. I paid all of that for nothing. Take your car or truck elsewhere that can actually fix a leak, and not cause more.
