I can't recommend Zoo Automotive enough! Today was my second time visiting them for a brake job since my SUV was shaking when braking. They called me letting me know my brake pads were fine and recommended not replacing them now and contacting my dealership to fix the rotors since my vehicle is under warranty still with my lease. Saved me hundreds of dollars and didn't even charge me for the inspection! First visit with them 2 years ago was to replace my car battery where they also saved me money! I would like to say not only did these people come highly recommended they did not disappoint. Had to go to them because oil changers of Ramona forgot to put the inspection pull back in the rear differential of my truck. Had to put in a used rear differential that one was make a weird noise still. So long story but finally got them to get another one which sounds better than the last one but when I got there the ebrake was pulled to the max, dash cam was unplugged and I found a nice scratch on the skid plate. "Goose" at zoom automotive is a good guy to work with. I took him my 20 year old corvette that was leaking oil, washer fluid and gasoline. The guys at Zoo fixed all three. The oil pan and valve covers needed new gaskets. The washer fluid was a bad pump, but the gas leaks was what impressed me the most. I expected it to be a big deal, the vette has two gas tanks and they're connected together by some kind of automotive plumbing. I expected theyd have to be removed to see what's up. Zoo's corvette guy (sorry, don't know his name) found a loose hose clamp, snugged it up and no charge. Sweet. But that's not all. Car was done, drove it home and the check engine light came. Called the shop and left a message. Goose called me back, not once, but twice. Sent my wife in with the car, and that was fixed too. It needed some kind of pump. Fixed, no charge. If your looking for an honest mechanic and good people to work with. Zoo Automotive in Ramona is you shop. read more
