I came to her based on a recommendation and showed her the HOT MESS of a nail fill that I have had in years. Not only did she apologize for someone else's horrible job, she fixed them to perfection! She performed a miracle as aI thought for sure I would have to sacrifice my own nails to get them fixed and she went to work right away to restore them back to gorgeous again. I was in the area for two weeks, and needed a pedicure asap. I went to this salon on Tuesday around 1600. I was immediately greeted and brought to a chair after picking my color. Granted it was extremely empty, but I received great service! The girl that did my pedicure gave me THE BEST massage I've ever received. And she did an amazing job on my gel polish! If I lived in Savannah I would be a regular. I unfortunately didn't get the girls name, but she had shoulder length black hair, wore glasses, and had on a white shirt with black stripes. The overall look of the place is very unorganized and cluttered. The inside of the building looked like it was falling apart and extremely unkept. My "manicure" which only consisted of a small amount of acrylic powder on my own nails (no hand massage, no cuticles, no nothing) cost $55. That is insane. Never have I paid that much for so little. Nice, clean and newer salon in Pooler. I came during the Christmas break with my sister and 3 yr old niece. They have a few small kid size pedicure chairs that look like Hello Kitty so they are very kid-friendly. A lot of space and chairs here and they also do hair, facials and massage. So far I've only gotten a manicure here. It was pretty good, the hand massage was nice. I do wish they had more manicure upgrade options but for a quick mani, it will do. So I walked in at 5 something and they close at 7. I asked if they had an open spot for mani pedi and at first she said no so I walked out into the rain back to my car and she comes out to tell me that they can actually take me. There were four employees and one other customer besides me. I figured maybe it's a slow day and they wanted to leave early but took me anyways. Little hesitant because I didn't want to be rushed. Now the guy doing my pedi was amazing I didn't feel rushed and he took care of my nails properly but he didn't do my mani and told me to come back tomorrow so that was really annoying. I visited this day spa back in July for a massage. The massage therapist was behind so I opted for a manicure while I waited. The staff seemed extremely annoyed that I even asked. The therapist was ready for me before the manicurist painted my nails so they ushered me into the back where I was left with no consultation or direction. After the laziest massage I have ever received, the mail tech refused to paint my nails or finish off the manicure but I was still asked to pay full price! I'm visiting again almost a year later so I decided to give the salon another chance as they do have the best rating in the area. Big mistake! I waited 45 minutes after being told by the staff that I'd be helped shortly and the nail tech and receptionist had a full blown argument in front of myself and other clients. I quickly grabbed my things and left. I would not recommend this salon. read more

Went here for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Tu did a wonderful job with my acrylic nails. Great experience, she was very friendly and we talked the whole time. The last couple of nail salons I visited in Arkansas prior to moving here, the nail salon employees usually ignore you or talk to other employees the whole time they're doing your nails but cater to the rich old "regulars" that walk in. Got waxed in two different areas here. The lady was incredibly nice and the music was calming. It was my first time waxing, so it was painful, but she would apologize often. I've gone to this spa about three times. Honestly I found the people working there to be in a hurry, not friendly, and I have had the worst pedicure there! My feet were so sore after going there that I've vowed I would never go again. The manicure I had was the worst the woman that did it was very much in a hurry worked very quickly cut my fingers ! And used a very large emery board and she worked so quickly with it that she started missing my nail and cutting my fingers with it! I don't understand why they have to use such large files... She did not act like she was very happy doing my manicure. Hardly said anything to me and had a scowl on her face! Just a horrible salon! Tu serviced my nails, I got powder for the first time on my natural nails...I've always gotten a full set with acrylic because I've always been self-conscious of my nail length and finger shape. After reading the reviews, I had high expectations for lotus day spa. Sadly, I was very disappointed. It was not busy at all when I arrived around 3pm, yet my service was rushed and there was no attentive paid to detail, and they weren't very friendly either. I decided to get a manicure and a pedicure. I was highly disappointed with both. When I think of a spa-like environment, I expect to be relaxed. Not the case here. My pedicure was rushed and it was truly something I could have done myself at home. She did not focus on my feet, no scrub, no massage, and she only wiped my legs and feet with the lukewarm towel(not hot). About halfway through my rushed pedicure another lady began my rushed manicure. It was not relaxing at all! Again no massage and no hot towel at all for my manicure. The only pro is that they use a bag for their pedicures. I will not be back. read more

Well I called to make an appointment at 3:30 for a facial... I get there at 3:20 and the same person that I called an booked my appointment with tells me that the girl can't take me. I tell him that I made an appointment and he says, "yeah but she just took in a woman for a 60minute facial". So tell me... Why the hell did I book an appointment if my appointment time isn't going to be honored? What is the point of having appointments if you show up at your schedule time but then are told to come back an hour later? I didn't get to experience their facials so I can't speak about the quality of the service, but the consumer service is awful and because of this they've lost my business. If you book an appointment with them I'd call before you leave the house just to make sure that they didn't take a walk in and then tell you come back an hour after your scheduled appointment. I'm a huge fan of this salon! This is the ONLY place I will get my nails done in the Savannah area. Tina is amazing at doing my eyebrows and my acrylic sets. She makes my nails so natural, nobody can ever tell that they are actually acrylic. This place is really clean, and I love the fact that they cover the pedicure bowls with plastic wrap before you put your feet in. They will also give you a neck/shoulder massage while your nails are drying for an extra fee, and their massage rooms are very cute and relaxing as well. INSTRUMENTS NOT CLEAN!!!! I asked to see the autoclave bag they come in and the arrow had not changed colors indicating that they were not clean. This was not the only problem however. I SCHEDULED and appointment a week in advance and I got there and my friend and I were made to wait one hour before anyone saw us. They served other people who came in after us before us. Then they did not have the treatment available that either of us chose in stock to do the $45 choose your own treatment spa pedicure. Then the treatment they gave me stained my leg purple and no one even tried to wipe it off until I asked them to. It keeps going; when the lady went back to get the metal instruments I noticed that the blue autoclave bag had not been run in the auto clave. I asked to see the bag and showed her that the arrow had not changed colors indicating that the instruments were dirty. She went back and got another bag of instruments that had also not been run. I tried to tell her not to use them, but she did and I didn't want to make a big scene around my friend. At least I watched carefully to make sure she didnt cut into my skin or toes. My friend got her pedicure started 15 minutes before me because there was still no one available. And guess what.. somehow with the same service I finished 10 minutes before her. But its almost ok because i couldn't wait to get the hell out of there before I got a blood infection from their nasty place. While I was waiting for my friend I spoke to the front desk person about all of this and he went to the manager who still charged us $45 each and gave us a 10% coupon for next visit. That's funny like I would ever go back there and get a disease at that place. When I went to use the bathroom before leaving they had NO SOAP to wash hands with. COMPLETELY DISGUSTING PLACE DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU WANT HEPATITIS OR HIV AND HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! read more
