ME Spa has great customer service from front desk agent, spa attendant to my massage therapist-5 stars for sure! But when you think of a spa you think sauna, steam, jacuzzi-not a foot bath, those are for the $20.00 foot massage places. Don't get me wrong the foot soak felt nice but all it really is is a bath bomb dropped into extra large salad bowl full of warm water *fizz-el!* The name of the business should not include the word spa because it really isn't. Surely the place is large enough to have one true spa amenity but doesn't; the reason for 3-stars. When I called and asked what spa amenities they had the spa agent, who was very kind btw, answered: showers...ahhh I think not! I have had a lot of facials over the years and I have a new favorite! Patty at Me Spa Simi Valley!! I had a signature 80 min facial today and it was heaven! Everything from the products she used, to the attention to detail, and lastly the head, neck, hand, foot, and face massages. I was in relaxation paradise. Not to mention how my face had a youthful glow yes an actual glow when I left. Everyone has ways that they treat themselves and to me it's always been facials and massages. I was hesitant to try ME Spa as I thought it was like other corporate spas I had been to that lacked the true, relaxing spa experience. My daughter bought me a facial on groupon for my birthday, so i figured what did I have to lose? I was pleasantly surprised! First off they have a lovely and clean facility. Welcoming, warm, smells great! The receptionist led me to the female changing area complete with showers, product, bathroom, etc and gave me a warm robe, slippers and showed me where the lockers were. After that I was directed to the relaxation room with tea, water, apples and cozy chairs and lighting! This is when the experience got awesome... I was treated to a complimentary foot soak (note: be sure to arrive 30 mins. prior to your appt. in my opinion if you really want to sit and relax and enjoy that. I felt it was a but rushed!) Hey Me Spa, do not get rid of this complimentary treatment because it's unique, cool and relaxing! I met Brooke at that point who would be doing my facial. Can I just say SHE WAS THE BEST! Beautiful, sweet, gentle, funny and did the best damn extraction my face has ever gotten! She was informative during our facial, explained product to me, was soothing ... my face literally glowed after my service! I got a 50 min and it felt like i was in there for an hour and a half.. she really took her time and gave me my full value! Even today, the morning after I am clear, clean, moisturized.. wow! I will say Brooke took a basic facial and made it feel like an upgraded, WOW facial. She has my loyalty when I return to ME SPA and I will! There are some things I would love to direct to the owners for perhaps future improvements: 1. Your yearly, optional VIP charge for your club? I really suggest getting a program like Burke Williams where you sign people up for a year, charging their card $79, $89, even $99 a month and for that they get a facial or massage and can add upgrades to it if they choose and pay a bit extra. Also included in this they get the cool, club VIP events you host! You do not have a steam room, jacuzzi, sauna, etc... so you have to offer SOMETHING for that monthly fee....I just would never pay $350 for 1 service and then VIP events... it makes zero sense... Trust me, as a consumer you would get extreme loyalty from people in this area if you offered them this type of program. I would come in every month and faithfully allow you to charge my card .. but now, at this point, you will see me probably only every 3 months. That's all I could afford with your price point. 2. OMG for love of GOD get at least a steam room. Making your spa a more compete "SPA" experience would be incredible! I missed not being able to open my pores and relax prior to my service. 3. You have all of these lovely products, hair dryers, etc in the change room...so put a few sanitized hair brushes (roller & flat). After my service I wanted to blow out my hair and had no way to. Being a first time customer, I didn't know I had to bring my own. Keep this place un-corporate, give a little more of the extra, get a REAL club program up and running and give Brooke a raise... I have been going to this spa for a couple of years for both their services & products. I recently went there to purchase more product and was told it was on order. I have been following up the last few weeks to see if a shipment had arrived. Come to find out that they have been dishonest about the products that were supposedly ordered. Mia explained that they just ordered the product I was looking for so I asked why they told me they had placed an order a few weeks ago when she just admitted it was just ordered. I was explaining to her that I was told it was ordered a couple of weeks ago and asked why they were being dishonest all of a sudden she says I am cutting out and hangs up on me. I call back spoke with Lisa a manager and only got lip service so I told her that I no longer trusted them and would look for another resource to purchase the products I need. My last facial with them was also not very good but decided on giving them a second chance. With the dishonest business practice I have decided to go else where. After reading Lisa's response I have given this business ample time to call me and but once again due to their dishonest business practice I have not heard from them. It's been a couple of days since my first review and ME Spas response. As I explained earlier all I got from Lisa was lip service. I am still getting lip service from Lisa first via phone and now via text. Please note that I did find another resource which was 60% less than what they charge with free delivery. I ordered my Image Anti aging skin products on line from Walmart and I was expecting it to be smaller because the price was much less than what ME Spa sells it. When I received my products it's exactly the same size as what I purchased from ME Spa at 60% less. read more

I absolutely loved my massage by Matthew and Janet T who did my manicure. They both did a fantastic job of making me very relaxed and the services were spot on. However, my facial with Kelly was a whole other story. My massage ran a little over time, not due to me. I was there 1/2 early. But when I left the massage, Kelly rushed me off to my facial. She was extremely stressed that we started late and even blamed the massage therapist. I was completely put off that she would try to throw her own coworker under the bus. She kept saying that he is sweet, but sooooo young. I had no concept of time or what was happening. She could have easily shortened my facial without me knowing and gotten herself back on track instead of dwelling on it the whole time. I could tell she was not relaxed at all and her extractions were very aggressive, leaving my eyes watering and me flinching. I told her it was painful and she said, oh I'm sorry, I'm heavy handed. Yeah no crap! My chin was swollen and very sore from her trying to force extractions. She then gave me a coupon for a discount facial with her of which I had no interest. I would go back in a heartbeat to visit Matthew and the wonderful girl who did my nails but not Kelly. She almost ruined my whole spa day with her stressful attitude. read more

So relaxing! My friend and I went here recently with Groupon deals. She got a 50 minute massage and is a regular here. I got a 30 min organic facial, and it was my first time here. I recommend arriving around 15 min early so you can take advantage of soaking your feet in a waiting room. They provide robes and slippers (or you can wear your own) and allow you to use their lockers to put your personal belongings. They wrap a heated pad around your shoulders. Considering my facial was $125 for 50 mins I was not impressed. When I booked my appt I was not told to arrive early so that I could have the complimentary foot soak. Extractions don't automatically come with the facial you have to ask, and no eye cream was put on my eyelids. Instead of removing my eye makeup she left it on. The ownership recently changed over, and I love the new products they use for the manicures and pedicures. ME Spa now features their fizzy bath balls in both services and they smell amazing. I've had both the Essential Pedicure as well as the Ultimate, and the Ultimate Pedicure (although pricey) is well worth the money and time for how amazing and relaxing it is. I regularly fall asleep, it's that good. The Essential Manicure is a great basic manicure, and not any more expensive than other decent nail places (drive thru nail salons excluded - you know the kind). I've gone to both Michelle and Brooke, both do an impeccable job. Overall, one of the only real spa environments around. I've had services at many other higher end spas around here (including the Four Seasons in Westlake - majorly overpriced for what you get) so I see this as a deal for the quality. If you want a cheap mani/pedi, that's a different game so I don't bother to compare the two. I haven't had any of the other services (facials or massages) but I have heard that Anna is great for a facial. I would love to see more specials from ME Spa, especially for frequent customers. read more

I was a little wary about the change in name/owner/manager, but Me Spa is, if anything, an improvement on the previous establishment. I have only had nail services (ultimate pedicure = ultimate pampering), so I can't speak to the other spa services, but my experience has been consistently excellent. I personally love Michelle for my hands and feet - she really pays attention to detail. I couldn't find an exact color I wanted, so she created one by layering 2 different colors and it's perfect. One of the biggest dangers with shellac/gel manicures is having a poor job done on and around the cuticles - no problem with Michelle! Even when my nails naturally grow out, the shellac doesn't chip or peel because there aren't those rough edges around the cuticle. If you're willing to pay a little more for a quiet, relaxing environment and personalized attention, this is the place for you! read more

I have gone to this ME SPA for massages (regular and prenatal), facials (regular and hydra facial), and a mani/pedi multiple times. All of my massages have been great, I recommend Patty for facials, and I recommend Janet T. for spa pedicures. The gel manicure was nothing above and beyond a regular gel mani, but I highly recommend getting the spa pedicure! I've gotten the 60-minute spa pedicure a few times now - it has always been great - definitely a nice treat for your feet once in a while! read more

I came here yesterday for a pedicure & it was fabulous! I was regular at Coldwater Creek & they have done a great job at "keeping it the same." I wonder what the other MeSpa's look like though because they did no renovation on this one. The products they carry are different & their menu is much more expensive now. At Burke Williams you get a wide variety of amenities like the jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, misting room, and a much larger changing room. I think their prices make sense because you get so much more than just the service. If this place had amenities I would be much more eager to make the switch. Four stars because the prices got way higher & it's still basically Coldwater Creek. read more
