First off, bringing a friend for her 60th for a massage. Appointment at 1. Got there at 12:58. Rushed thru. No robe or slippers. Had to change in massage room. Masseuse, was rude and said if you wanna change that will knock 10 mins off your massage! Wtf! No foot massage prior. I guess COVID has done it's job. Second, no head massage for a 59 min for 149$. Scheduled a much needed 80 minute full body massage. I was hesitant to have a male masseuse since I normally have had female masseuses in the past. I was given Matthew and oh wow!, his skillful hands and muscle knowledge/massage talent amazing! He massaged my tight back muscles until all the stiffness had melted away. Such a wonderful Spa in Simi! Once you arrive, you change I to a comfy (oversized) robe and slippers. I recommend bring long your own, there's we're pretty worn down. Then your moved in the waiting lounge, where you're served water, tea, and some snacks while your feet are soaking in warm water. I booked a last minute massage through their user-friendly website. I booked an 80 minute Swedish massage with massage therapist, Matt. I can confidently rate Matts massage 5 stars! !!! He is firm and attentive to your "trouble areas". For my facial I had Mia- she really knows what she is doing and even recommended products for my very sensitive reactive skin, which usually I never take recommendations but I trusted her knowledge 100%. I went here for the first time for a hydrafacial. I was surprised at all the extras I got with a complementary foot soak and a heat wrap. The facility is very clean and relaxing. My esthetician was Brooke, who greeted me when I was enjoying my foot soak. When she was ready for me, I was escorted to a very comfortable room. The massage/facial bed was so comfortable. I absolutely loved the giant blankets and the bed warmer. I got the 80 min hydrafacial so the nice and comfy bed was excellent. Brooke was absolutely amazing. She really made my experience top notch. I was finally able to get in the the spa and had the most amazing experience. The staff is taking all precautions to ensure your health and safety. They start off taking your temperature and asking that you wash your hands with antibacterial soap and a warm washcloth. I felt very comfortable the entire time I was there. Matthew's hands were magic and the 80 minute hot stone massage was one of the best I have had. He was able to really focus on a tight muscle in my neck/shoulder and I feel so much better!! We had such and incredibly lovely day. We were celebrating my youngest daughters 16th bday. There were 8 of us looking for a full spa day experience. I went to the facility several months ago to set up our visit and went back again once they were able to set the details in stone. I received a gift card as a Christmas present that led me to this wonderful place for the first time. Just in time too because my right upper body was so tense and beginning to affect the way I moved. Upon entering the receptionist was super sweet and informative. I was led and shown what to do by her which I found super helpful (change into a robe, put my items in a safe locker with your own code, and then put in the relaxation room where I had the option of both a neck rub and foot soak). I then was taken to my room for a deep tissue massage by Wesley. Before booking with him I was told he uses gloves and at first I thought that might feel odd but the receptionist mentioned that everyone who has had him provide a service says they don't feel the gloves. I took my chances and she was right! I didn't feel anything different and I was comforted that it was a bit more sanitary this way too. He got to protect his hands and I got to protect my skin. He was very professional and helpful. The most amazing massage (and I've had a few but none close to his) he was in sync with his hands and my skin. I could literally feel all the tightness just melt away. We talked about focusing on my neck and shoulder as those were my problem areas and he got it all out.
