    House chicken shawarma plate

The garlic toum is fabulous at Aladdin shawarma house, which reminds me of sharwama palace in Ottawa (which I think is the BEST sharwama in Canada). The roasted potatoes is also a blessing, and everything goes down refreshingly with the lovely coleslaw. The service is excellent and the place is relaxing and clean. Mashallah.

Aladdin's mega sandwich - lots of filling

I have been to Aladdin Shawarma House a couple of times. A Yelp experience brought me here the first time. I got the house-made rice pudding to go and loved it. I returned last night to get another one because I have been dreaming about it since my first visit! Both times, I dropped by in the evening. The first time was around 6 pm on a Thursday. The second was after 8 pm on a Wednesday. This eatery is in a plaza that does steady business. Both times, I was able of spot several available parking spots. I parked and headed over to Aladdin's main entrance. I sampled the following during my first visit: - Aladdin's mega sandwich - Blood orange Brio It does take a bit of time for your sandwich to be made. I ended up finding a table with comfy seating. I took off my jacket and headed back to the counter to check out the shawarma, fresh veggies and toppings, and more. It didn't take long for my sandwich filling to be made on the grilled, and my sandwich assembled and pressed. He placed my wrapped sandwich and drink on a tray. I thanked him and sat down to eat. This mega sandwich had chicken shawarma and merguez (French sausages). This sandwich had in-house bread with the proteins stuffed in it. It also had sautéed onions, olives, house tomato sauce, and lettuce. I am not a fan of olives. Had I known, I would have asked that they be held. Luckily, removing them wasn't taxing, partly because they were all grouped together. It was also partly because I have a ton of experience picking them off pizza and out of subs over the years, thanks to my dad loving olives on everything. I enjoyed this sandwich. The chicken shawarma was yummy. However, the tzatziki and tomato sauces, along with the moisture from the sausages and veggies in my sandwich made the thin in-house bread soggy. It was messy eating this sandwich, but the flavours were so good that I enjoyed the experience. I'm thinking that a thicker bread or even a baguette would have worked better. The sausages were yummy. They tasted homemade. There's a Marrakesh sandwich that features these sausages. I may need to have that next time. Heck, I'd eat these sausages on their own. I chose a blood orange Brio. I am normally not a sugary drink person, but I felt like a bottled fruity drink was merited. It worked out nicely with my mega sandwich. It didn't taste as sugary as I had feared. It was delightfully cold and yummy. This place has The Cheesecake Factory slices. I saw this eatery's house-made rice pudding and got that instead. It was so good. The top was broiled a bit. It had a hint of sweetness. It was creamy and comforting. It is awesome and one of my favourite rice puddings that I have ever had, which prompted me to return for more. This place makes a consistently yummy rice pudding. I highly recommend it! I used the washroom before I left during my first visit at Aladdin. It's a single stall for customers. It was clean. This place accepts debit and credit cards. Staff were super nice and hospitable during both visits. It's a cool eatery in Vaughan. It seems to be more of a dessert stop for me now, but I hope to return and try that Marrakesh sandwich. I have also been thinking about it for a bit. (147)

Right across from the big Transit City condo development with Parking! A bit of a hidden gem. Good service and lots of space to sit and enjoy. My Philly sandwich was freshly prepared from the fresh ingredients and the taste is great. I love all the meat cooking right behind the counters. The garlic roasted potatoes were very tasty and much better unhealthy fries :) I will definitely be back ! So many other menu items to try.

Beautiful and bright spot! I was so impressed right from the get-go! Friendly staff and the place is SO clean! The food smells amazing! Cag bread is so delicious with BBQ chicken shawarma! The fresh toppings were plentiful and so tasty! They toasted the pita after it was stuffed and it is so delicious. The flavors of the pickles mixed with the meat is the best flavour combo. My super picky 12-year-old stole my shawarma and ate it! Definately come here with your family and friends! So many customers walked in during my visit and they looked like regulars. I heard someone say that they were sold out of the roasted potatoes. I am definitely coming back to have a repeat of this pita as well as those potatoes! L

Mediterranean, Shawarma - it's in the name. Parking: Plaza parking, limited spots. Ambiance: Cozy, quick lunch spot, come with the boys. Service: Fast, they are busy with all the construction workers coming here for lunch. They move quick but move with care. Super friendly. Ordered the Aladdin mega sandwich. Very flavorful sandwich with a nice red tomato sauce. It came with two french sausages, some vegetables and and chicken. The staff were super friendly and very inviting. They have a variety of sandwiches (classic beef, chicken and falafel). And 4 signature sandwiches. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the sandwiches. My one REGRET I have is not trying their garlic sauce... garlic sauce is always great (4/5) Will have to come back and try more food items during lunch. After I get my beach bod though

We ordered a shawarma plate with a side of fries and it was really good. Service was really good and friendly. Two of us shared a plate and there was so much food left over, really big portion size Pro-tip: order the smoked bbq chicken instead of the regular chicken. That house chicken hits different

Great service and excellent food. Good bread and meat option. Cool little spot that gets busy.

Not much to write home about here, but if you're looking for a decent bite with good portions that won't break the bank, this isn't a bad choice! If you love shawarma and need your fix, this can satisfy for the time being. I was impressed by their big family platter which was a great deal - and so long as you don't have dietary restrictions to worry about then it's all good! Based on convenience I stop in about every other week, which still hasn't made the place grow on me. The go-to is their house chicken plate, a big box with your choice of rice, potatoes, or fries, salad with exactly two slices of tomato only and about six pieces of pickled beet, plenty of pre-cut shawarma chicken they will reheat, and all your regular sauces. If you want something fresh go for the fries, otherwise everything else is warming and you will never catch them at a time shaving the shawarma meat fresh. They've got a wide selection of desserts so if you're interested definitely give them a try! For me, this is a safe meal that'll fill me up and satisfy a certain flavour profile I'm craving, but beyond that, not much else.

We stopped by Aladdin Shawarma for a quick bite. The place is very tidy and quiet. Really liked that, could have the food peacefully :D We took one Pita Chicken Shawarma wrap and one Chicken Shawarma Rice Bowl. They have two choices of the Chicken Shawarma, we took the Classic one for rice, which is less flavorful and took the Smoky(red) one for the wrap. Both were very tender and melting in mouth but the smoky one obviously a lot flavorful. Both items were tasty and filling and at the same time not heavy. There were many sauces to choose, which made the food juicier. I would like to go back to this place when in Vaughan next time.

The best chicken Caesar salad does not even compare to jewel Caesar salad salad I used to just add chicken anyway for an additional cost but now I'm stuck with this boring and plain salad that my taste buds did not enjoy. A part of me died today. I can't believe that the salad is discontinued and I will only change my review once it is brought back for good. I don't like being played in the face like this. I normally don't leave reviews on Yelp, but I had to today just to let everyone know about the salad. I am so upset. Also, my friend got a different salad and they barely put any dressing on it. I normally come here for the dressing because it's so good and what's the point if you're not even gonna put it on the fucking salad. I'm literally fuming right now in this Mandy's and I can't even believe that it's discontinued. I told all of my family and all of my friends that it's discontinued and everyone is shocked and upset. Bring back the salad right now! We have a voice and we have a right of this salad. This is what made Mandy salad popular why would you take away? It's one good thing. On the other hand, the ambiance is amazing of course, and it is quite beautiful. But it doesn't make up for jewel Caesar salad being discontinued. Also, the service was great as well. I'm also upset because they did not have Parmesan for the Caesar salad that I had to endure because you guys discontinued jewel Caesar salad. I had to eat it with cheddar, which doesn't even make sense because why would you even run out of cheese to begin with? You're literally a salad place have extra cheese. I'm so disappointed and I will never be coming back until Jules's Caesar salad is up again.

The vegetables were fresh and crisp. The parmesan was generous and flavourful but the salad lacked the dressing and tasted a little bland as rest of the meal. (10 $) The tea however was very nice. It was orange pekoe tea bag, served with mint leaves and a cinnamon stick. We'll definitely try this at home. (1.50 $ each) The restaurant is located in the industrial area, in the middle of nowhere. If it weren't for the groupon we wouldn't have ventured in the area. It was lunch hour and we were the only two customers there, which was very unusual considering this is located in an area where there are companies/offices all around. I think the price of the food might have to do something with it. The food was pretty pricey for everyday office lunch. These kind of prices would have only made sense in the financial district. There was a stage there. It seemed that there would be music performance during the weekends/evenings. Wish them all the best as they are new and still discovering themselves. Would love to see them succeed and be able to draw crowd to the location. Cheers!

The Chicken sandwich was the large portion which was great to share and was very filling. The hummus ful was a meal on its own. Whenever someone brings up something foolish that I did in my youth, I touch the back of my hand to my forehead, toss my head back and proclaim "Oh but t'was in my salad days, when I was green in judgement!" LOL. I really should have been an actress! But enough about The Bard and my career choices, what about the food, right? It was good. I had the Salad Days Special ($8.49). It was romaine and iceberg lettuce, sweet potato mash, 2 dolmades (grape leaves stuffed with rice and spices), tomatoes, cucumbers, kalamata olives, feta cheese, hummus, tzatziki, and your choice of chicken, cooked salmon, smoked salmon, tuna, meatballs, smoked ham or falafel. I chose cooked salmon and asked them to hold the hummus. The salad was huge, but the majority of it was lettuce. Still, a really good deal for $8.49. The cooked salmon was a good size, which I liked. It was cold, but still flavourful and didn't smell fishy. I would have preferred it if the kalamata olives had the pits removed, but they were still ok. They have other set salads or you can make a custom salad. Their model is like Freshii, but I like them much better than Freshii. Staff were nice and efficient. So this is the location in Cumberland Terrace, just west of Yonge. They have another location really close by in The Hudson's Bay Centre, just east of Yonge. I like this one in Cumberland Terrace better because there are a few seats right next to it that is only shared with Esther Queen of the Soups customers. It's a bit more secluded. I have many food allergies and he let me sub out ingredients to create the perfect meal for myself and he was extremely patient as he answered all of my questions after hours. The Food: We ordered the number 2 and 5 and the employee threw in a sample of the Thai soup for us to try. Thai Soup: The Thai soup was fantastic! It was thick, had a kick of lemon that I love and tasted delicious. We loved it so much we wish we had bought two bowls to go with our meals. #2 Bowl; My boyfriend ordered this dish as is and added tofu as his protein. It came with a peanut dressing, which he said was fantastic. The portion he received was really big and it filled him up. #5 Bowl: This bowl was a Mexican inspired bowl. I subbed out the cheese, and pita chips for more guacamole and edamame. The portion of my bowl was a little smaller than my boyfriends dish but the food was really good. It was really filling and I loved how they could accommodate my diet. Next time I might try a tangier dressing than the ranch this dish came with because I love a kick of lemon or lime juice with my meals. Would We Go Back? Absolutely !

There were barely any walnuts, and despite paying for extra cranberries, there were hardly any included. The kale made up most of the salads, yet it was tough & difficult to chew. Instead, I received bowls that were mostly kale and quinoa, with the premium ingredients largely absent. What turned a disappointing meal into a terrible experience was the complete lack of accountability afterward. When I contacted Mandy's, I was directed to Uber Eats. Unfortunately, dealing with Uber Eats customer support was even more frustrating than receiving the food itself. The support process felt automated, impersonal, and entirely focused on closing the complaint rather than addressing the issue. Despite providing details about the poor quality of the food, my concerns were not taken seriously and no meaningful resolution was offered. Customers order through delivery platforms expecting some level of protection when food arrives in unacceptable condition. In this case, neither the restaurant nor Uber Eats seemed willing to take responsibility. Poor food quality is one thing; poor customer service from both companies makes the experience far worse.
