Very disappointed in my treatment. They don't even deny that the work they did made my neck look worse than it did before I went in. Did some thing I didn't even ask them to do, which made it look worse. Didn't even fix the issue that I went in there to have them address. Offered no solutions, told me to go get a consultation somewhere else, and they won't return any of my phone calls now, because they don't want to deal with me. He's currently on INDEFINITE probation for issuing fraudulent prescriptions of, AND addiction to, controlled substances, according to Illinois Department of Financial and Profesional Regulation, dated 2/2018. My consultation was with Dr roberg who is currently on probation, his license was suspended in 2009. Check out the articles online and Idfpr.org to view his current license status! My appt was in an unmarked building with a bed and surveillance camera, apparently they also do "sleep studies". Amazingly, they offer door to door service to their clinic in Zion because they "don't prefer" using their Chicago location. Sounds super safe to me especially after the procedure after narcotics and sedation to let some random person drive me home! I also loved that they had no portfolio of previous clients. read more

Very disappointed . Came in to get surgery June 2017 and after a year now my results are that stomach was completely botched. First of all fat left in areas in my stomach , my stomach is so uneven. The staff was amazing , loved the way Julie was always there for any questions or concerns . But highly disappointed that nothing was done . I messaged Julie a couple months ago stating this issue , I was told doctor was on vacation, then she was going to talk to doc Roberg and have me come in. Never happened or got a text back . It's very disappointing as a person who spent money , got surgery here and the results I got where bad. I now have to pay even more to have another surgeon fix a mistake that they should have been able to fix , due to their mistake . read more

I had a liposuction procedure done by Dr. Roberg a few days ago. The entire staff was amazing! They made sure I understood everything and knew exactly what to expect, also made sure I was really comfortable through out the procedure. From the day of my consult I always felt they had my best interest at heart and wanted to make sure I was happy with the results. They always answer when I call or call me back right away no matter how many times I called. Special shout out to Julie, for being so patient and responsive, you're the best! HORRIBLE, stay away! Where do I even begin. They promise you excellent results based on what your concerns are "a thin layer of fat would be left and 80-90% of the fat removed". This is what was said in the consult word for word. They charge you what they think is "cheap" which was $8000. Then they don't even do parts of your body that you paid for! Whole upper back is untouched and when I wanted a resolution, Julie the owner blocked me from her phone. Parts of my stomach have fat left, and flanks are still there. How does that even happen? Doctor told me during visits when I complained of fat not being taken out, that I need to lose weight. So that's your response to a poorly done job, to insult me to cover the fact that you suck at lipo? One of the first visits the doctor turned around and said to the owner Julie "did we do her back?" Bc of the fat that was clearly left. She said yes and she wasn't even in my surgery. Accordingly to her husband, it was also a "job well done" (her husband assists the doctor in surgeries and likes the sound of his own voice). Apparently 1.4 liters was taken out of my back. I'm 5'7" and not a petite girl, a lot more could've been taken out. Gaslighting to keep my money and wouldn't give me a partial refund like I asked since nothing was done to my upper back. During my surgery since it was local and I was awake, Dr. Roberg and Julie's husband kept cracking jokes that "fat lives mattered ". If you've never heard of this place till now, now you know why. Unprofessional crooks that will tell you what you want to hear to take your money. Sad thing is, I have been nothing but respectful to these people despite their gaslighting and insults. Patient blaming is never the route when someone is sharing their concerns. Her husband said to me which is hilarious "we just want you to be happy". My ass! You guys suck as "medical professionals" and should have your licenses taken away permanently. Dare I say what I know in regards to medical licenses being taken away? I don't mind dropping google links. If there was a resolution and care on their part, I wouldn't be writing this. But the way this was handled and blocking me is absolutely disgusting. Something a guilty crook would do. Surely Julie, or someone from her office will respond with more patient blaming and bullsh!t. I'm waiting. read more

All staff was very nice. Dr. Roberg explained everything took his time and even offered to come see me at home right after surgery when I had some concerns about swelling. It's been a week after surgery and I'm already very happy with the results. Julie was great to communicate with and her husband Bob drove me home after the procedure was done. Day 2 of lipo and fat transfer : I just had Lipo done yesterday with Dr. Roberg and Dr. Kagan (who is new to the practice). The service I received was AMAZING. My consultation was with their helpful assistant Julie and Roberg in their Chicago location. Yes, I saw the bed there but there was no surveillance. How that office is setup is the reason why they do not like to use that location but only do so for people like me that are in the city and wouldn't be able to drive all the way to Beach Park. I went there 2 times once for a pre op with Julie and first for consultation. Let me tell you Julie and Roberg answered all my question the consultation was at least a little over an hour. They don't have a portfolio but they showed me TONS of pre-op, on the table pics. and post op from Dr. Roberg's work computer. I was offered door to door service, meaning I could have Julie pick me up the morning or surgery and drop me off home. Which I could also bring someone along with. I opted to have my Fiancé take me but she is super nice and I texted her all the time since this was the first time I EVER had anything done. They did everything by the book. I had to turn in mammogram results since I did fat transfer to the breasts and I had to take an antibiotic pill morning off for precaution. Once I walked into the MAVES clinic it was beautifully setup. The receptionist Leo (Female) was very kind and greeted me appropriately. I met once again Dr. Roberg who than introduced me to Dr. Kagan. I was asked to take a pregnancy test of course came back negative. I was also introduced to the surgical assistances and anesthesiologist. They made me feel so at home and comfortable, we were cracking jokes and they told me a little about their children. I felt like I was in good hands. Last but not least I was put in their consultation room to be marked by Kagan in Roberg which my Fiance was allowed to be in the room for my comfort. Than I was walked over to the surgical room to be put to sleep. Everything was performed, I woke up and I expected to be in sooooo much pain on a scale of 1-10 I felt a 2 and it's day two and I feel that same. I needed a little assistance yesterday to get up and sit down but I went over to my families house, sat outside, walked around. Nothing to crazy. It feels like I went to the gym and did 1000 crunches, lol. I am now wearing a compression garments and per my request will see my pre op and post op pics on Friday the 15th.
