This place is amazing!! We LOVE the mini donuts - the regular powdered sugar ones. You get them fresh and hot and soooo yummy! My son got the turtle donuts and loved them. If you like coffee, try the Affogatto. Holy smokes! So delicious and unexpected - the sweet and cold from the vanilla ice cream mixed with the espresso was fantastic Only not so great is the lemonade. I've been going to this shop for years! Every single time I have a 10/10 experience. There is sometimes a wait but it's a small ship in a busy location, the wait has NOT ONCE bothered me. From the outside, this measly stand doesn't look like much, but don't let that fool you. Their main item is the mini donut which come in packs of six. They are made to order so they're always hot and fresh. All of the flavors sounded delicious and I wish there was a way you could mix-and-match them aside from just buying a crapload of donuts. We figured we'd go with the Key Lime Pie since we're on the coast. The donuts were so fluffy and the light key lime glaze was the perfect addition. Delicious! We had originally just stopped by for some donuts, but the customers in front of us got some ice cream cones with sprinkles which caught our eye and were too hard to resist. We got a small vanilla/chocolate twist with rainbow sprinkles. The soft serve was great for the sunny day, but the sprinkles were my favorite part. These are in the top 3 on the list of the best donuts I've ever had! We ordered a 6 pack of the "chocolate delight" donuts that come covered with warm chocolate icing and sprinkles. They fry the donuts right in front of the window and don't put them together until you've ordered, so they are as hot and fresh as they could possibly be! Well, now it's a sunglasses & souvenir store, so I go to check out both places. Anywho, itsy bitsy teeny tiny cute little donuts. Say it fast and repeat. They have glazed, powdered, sprinkely, chocolate coconut, strawberry cheesecake, apple, bavarian to name a few. We got 3 little minis in two diff flavors. 6 in all for the non math peeps. I am glad I did check this little joint out, as I enjoy sweets and donuts. The size of their donuts is comparable to donut holes, which means you can eat each one in one bite! The donuts themselves have nice flavor and texture and come with a selection of different toppings to be put on them. I did not enjoy the strawberry cheesecake ones as much as I thought I would. It was a tad too sweet for me, but it was still enjoyable. The peanut butter chocolate mini donuts were delicious, rich, and thick. It was a tad too much sauce for me; however, I was able to use the leftover sauce on the other donuts (powdered/cinnamon). My favorites were just the plain old regular flavors: powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, and glazed. As said before, you can use the leftover peanut butter chocolate sauce from the peanut butter chocolate donuts. There is a gazebo near by for some shady seating. I wish they had interior seating with A/C as it can get pretty hot and humid during the summer; one of the few complaints. I'm not certain that I can hit a high word count on this one though because Meaney's Mini Donuts can be summed up in one word: AMAZING! I stumbled upon Meaney's while cruising Siesta Key. I'm here on business and today is the close of my first of two weeks here on the key. In a quaint shack right along the side if the road and flanked by a beach sundries boutique lies Meaney's. It's quite unassuming and thankfully they have a large and legible sign. I immediately swung in for a mini sweet treat. The girl at the stand was absolutely charming. She was informative, knowledgable of the product and exceedingly friendly. When I asked half-joking if I was able to get an assorted dozen, she let me know that I could split the standard half-dozen order among two flavors. I got three orders, split between six flavors. Chocolate with Coconut which included shaved coconut on their delicious chocolate sauce. Key Lime which included a key line sauce festooned with pie crust bits. Glazed with sprinkles and chocolate with sprinkles. Then. The crème de la crème: strawberry cheesecake as well as Bavarian Cream. Everything was amazing and freshly prepared right there in front of me. I will definitely be back this upcoming week. read more

Located to the right of the Lobster Pot, this little outdoor window ice cream stand type establishment is an awesome place on Siesta Key to get a snack or grab dessert. Very inexpensive, approx 3.75 for 6 donuts, 4.75 for 12 and 5.75 for 19 (at the time of this review and may differ depending on of you get one of the specialty flavors). The donuts are of course, the signature item here! With flavors including plain, powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, glazed and other specialty flavors including apple pie, Bavarian cream, peanut butter and more! My favorite is the glazed treat which is 6 fresh donuts covered with glaze and sprinkles =). Left speechless, OH MY GOODNESS! There is no other reaction that can be put into words when it comes to these delicious donuts. While in the Siesta Key area on a business trip we were heading to Summer House Steak House ( one of the best steakhouses in FL IMO check out my Yelp review) I had seen this small donut shop on TV in some TV show but did not think I would come across it anytime soon. The place is no bigger than master bedroom. The little machine dispenses and flips the donuts over. You get delicious bites of donuts time after time. They have the original ( powder sugar) and alot of other flavors like Boston Creme, Strawberry Cheesecake etc. I had the original and boston creme...a moment please. Probably the most delicious donut I have ever tasted. I have had Krispy Kreme donuts fresh off the line and that folks is AMAZING! This for some reason is bit different or just as great. If you are in the Sarasota area this place is a MUST! Enjoy it as a late night treat and get an extra bag as you will want a second go around when you devour your first batch! read more

The mini donuts were cute and the portion was just right. I got the chocolate coconut. They were good but a bit messy to eat. Make sure to grab some extra napkins! The donuts were not too sweet, which I like. However they were too oily. I think they should drained the oil from the donuts a little more before serving. The oiliness overwhelmed my tastebud. I could barely taste the chocolate and coconut. The ice cream, on the other hand was very good. No complaint there. read more

This place is incredible and such a good idea!! We came here three times during our week long visit. You walk up and order. Service was always quick and friendly. The first visit I ordered 6 mini donuts and split it in to two flavors - Chocolate with Sprinkles and Glazed with Fruity Pebbles. So tasty - the donuts were just crispy enough on the edges. The only downfall was a lot of the toppings fell off the donuts because they were still so hot. Second time around it was late night, so I got the Donut Sundae. I chose cinnamon sugar donuts, twisted ice cream and then fudge topping. The hot donuts made the ice cream melt kind of quickly, but I didn't care. It was nice to have the ice cream with bits of the donut. Loved the creativity of this since I haven't really seen it anywhere else. Last and final visit (sad) I just ordered 6 cinnamon sugar donuts. Five stars for the plain powdered sugar donuts; four stars for the rest. They are fantastic! Reminds me of beignets at Cafe du Monde. I heard the cinnamon sugar ones were good too, but I didn't get a chance to try them. I usually take photos of my food to post, but these were too good I couldn't waste any time getting them into my mouth. They are just as described, mini donuts. The size almost makes you feel less guilty about eating more than what would probably be a regular size donut, but these are worth the fat and calories. I tried the strawberry cheesecake and Boston creme ones, but they were a little too much gooey goodness for me. The stand is located at the end of a strip mall in Siesta Key. Being the big donut fan, I had to stop by here while I was in the Siesta Key area. Shortly said, these are mini (like the title) circles of fried batter with toppings/cream on top. Not sure if it was my timing (about 11:00 AM) or it was just the way it was, but my donuts were rather mushy on the inside. Would have preferred that they were somewhat more dry and not dough-y wet. Not my usual donut experience, but I enjoyed it! Minus the donut base, I loved the toppings! Had the strawberry cheesecake and the bavarian cream mini donuts. $4 for each of about 6 donuts. The strawberry cheesecake and bavarian were pretty good! Not too sweet, and you can taste distinctly the strawberries and cream. There's a parking lot on the side for you to leave your car and head up to the little store. Inside, there's mini markets of stores where you can buy Siesta Key trinkets too. Across the street that day were farmer markets too. I would recommend it as a good spot to walk off the donuts after you indulged them! read more

There is a place that opens up in Toronto every summer at the CNE called Tiny Toms, they sell these same kinds of mini donuts. Here, in Sarasota's hidden gem, Siesta Key, you get them year round! LOVE these donuts! They were made fresh each time I ordered, melt in your mouth delicious. Did cinnamon and sugar, as well as icing sugar, and was not disappointed. Price was a scream, 19 donuts for about $5, is an absolute steal. Left me plenty of change to tip the donut man's college fund jar on the counter.
