Tracy was our server, we had a really bad experience trying to eat at a café, but got ignored. We were greeted immediately by a friendly hostess and seated in Tracey's station at a beautiful outdoor patio table. Five star experience from start to finish, great recommendations from the server and all proves to be fantastic. We started with wuevos rancheros, ordered a croissant sandwich with egg cheddar, bacon, avocado, and sprouts, and also a blackened chicken salad. The food is fantastic and it was so good that we ordered a second plate of the rancheros. Thank you for being such a beacon of joy Tracy and thank you for the incredible meal. Lauren helped us out this morning as we started the day at The Sun Garden Cafe with the Myakka Benedict and the Max's Bliscuit noyh with SG Potatoes and an added bowl of fruit. The Myakka was eggs benedict sausage patties, tomato, on a grilled biscuit and smothered in sausage gravy. The Max's Bliscuit was a huge buttermilk biscuit, two eggs, cheese, and bacon..the eggs were ordered over-easy but I think that they were just a bit passed that point but Terri said that it was still very good. Mine was good - very healthy. Would've preferred eggs over-easy instead of fried but it was fine. My partner said her sandwich was good but she didn't like the toast - looked to be grilled on one side. Next time, and there will be a next time, we will both try something else. This was my first time coming here, and I really liked it. The place has a nice, cozy feel to it. I started with the figs, and wow, they were so good! They had Boursin cheese and butter on top, and they tasted kind of like candy. I wasn't expecting that, but I loved it. I was also surprised by how many different kinds of eggs Benedict they had. I picked the Florentine Benedict, and it came with spinach and asparagus. It was super tasty and looked great on the plate. For my side, I got the potatoes. They weren't really my favorite, they had too much butter for me. But I know some people like them that way! I also tried the peach and mango mimosas, and both were really good and fruity. Nothing quite beats a delicious and unique Shrimp Po'Boy to light up a man's day. This quite special shrmp po'boy checks all the boxes: perfectly cooked, succulent shrimp with a very nice crunchy coating; more crunch from the fresh greens (including--somewhat unusual for a po'boy--slices of sweet pickle); and an atypical but tasty remoulade (which, I was told by my delightful server, does *not* contain pickles but whose actual ingredients are a classified secret). Plus this excellent addition to my long experience with Shrimp Po'Boys has a very robust (and capable!), chewy wrap that also handled a few shakes of the delicious house-made Cosmic Cajun hot sauce I added (the original not having been spicy at all, other than a very faint allegedjalapeño wash on the shrimp). I also had a tasty side Caesar salad (which did have a slight peppery tinge). This is my favorite breakfast place in Sarasota. The quality of the food never disappoints here. The restaurant offers both breakfast and lunch, but I've been not ever had their breakfast items. It's vibe is very much a bohemian one that prioritizes relaxation, good food, and a cozy atmosphere, rather than a curated conventional norm. My favorite menu item is the Mediterranean Revival omelet. Artichokes, spinach, feta, sun dried tomatoes and amongst all the other ingredients that make this healthy delight so fantastic. The avocado toast is another item- piled high with avo smash, egg, all the veggies and a side of fruit. My hubs prefers the full on breakfast items like the biscuits and gravy, kitchen sink (pretty much all bfast ingredients in one dish), and traditional bacon and eggs items. Breakfast is his jam, and he's enjoyed it every time we've eaten there as well. They also offer delicious and freshly baked pastries as well. Those goodies can be seen cased right when you walk in the door. This place is def one I'd highly recommend when visiting Sarasota/Siesta Key! read more

I started with coffee and a coffee crumbl cake- both delicious! Then had their ziggy stardust breakfast sandwich- wow! Good sized portion, yummy combo of ingredients. What really stood out was the super buttery croissant and the extremely flavorful bacon (did not skimp on the bacon!). Overall amazing service from all working there, super friendly. A happy visit My breakfast visit today was exceptionally good. I was greeted as I walked up and when I opted to sit outside on this beautiful morning, shown to a table among the greenery. It was a peaceful pleasant place with few other customers. I decided to order The Kitchen Sink, a build your own omelette from your choice of almost 20 different ingredients. You get to select four. I assume you can select more for an additional charge, although I don't see that option on their menu. Four was enough for me, I went with ham, sausage, mushrooms, and cheddar. The food arrived at my table well under 10 minutes. The omelette had a hint of a buttery flavor as well as the flavors from the eggs and the other ingredients. It was exceptionally good. Service was very attentive and happy. This is a dog friendly place with little treats. I was happy, the dogs were happy, everybody was happy. read more

Loved this place. 6 of us came for breakfast. There were beautiful big muffins to greet us as soon as we came in the door. Seated right away and coffee was brought shortly after. My husband and I split the eggs florentine. The dish had tons of spinach, asparagus and tomato with a lovely hollandaise that we ordered on the side. Also ordered one pancake which was big and fluffy. The menu was varied. Would love to come back to try the Mexican eggs. Next time we're in the area for sure. at noon, the cafe was busy and bustling with a homey, cozy interior. off the bat, our waitress tracey was very sweet and a great exemplification of southern hospitality. i ordered the liege style belgian waffles with a side of bacon, and my friends ordered the andy's way omelette and the med revival omelette. the waffles were good and interestingly, the bacon really stood out to me. it was very peppery, which was really unique and delicious. another thing that really stood out to me turned out to be the biscuit. i tried some of my friend's side biscuit and it was the best biscuit i've ever had, it was super flaky and buttery with this very interesting flavor profile, it had an herby flavor that was a flavor explosion in your mouth. my friend also said that their side sausage was really delicious and the best sausage they ever had. in general, i was very happy with the experience here and i'd definitely become a regular if i lived in the area. food was great and the service was spectacular. very great vibes all around read more
