    Mango special
    Bob C.

We always enjoy the food at toasted Mango and like visiting during the week when it's a little less busy. We love the mango butter and omelets. They seem to wait on tables as a group so no one really checks in during breakfast. One person seats you and gets drinks, one person takes your order and another person delivers food with the check... but no one typically checks if you need drinks, condiments, etc. we didn't have any refills on today's visit and the table next to us I guess didn't drop off the check with food so they waited 30'minutes before going up to the bar and finding someone to hunt down a check.

Came on a Sunday morning- had a group of 4. There was a short wait of about 15-20 minutes. Once we were seated, service was super fast. The waiter wasn't super personable but took orders in a timely fashion and had everything accurate. The menu had a good variety of options. Two of us had build-your-own omelettes and the other two had build-your-own wraps. There were a lot of options to choose from as far as ingredients. The omelettes came with a choice of side and bread. The wraps came with choice of side. All of us enjoyed our food. We would come back next time we're in town.

Not super big but they are very efficient

I only got a smoothie but I was so impressed with how they were handling such a busy Sunday morning brunch crowd. The smoothie was delicious- I just waited at the bar for it- and the mimosas were very tempting. All of the food looked great and I liked that they had some outdoor tables too.

The Award Winning Toasted Mango Waffle and Three Cheese Omletet this morning at the Toasted Mango Cafe. Sausage patties and Home Fries as extras. We were in and out in no time, the Waffle was light and fluffy as it should be and the Mango added a nice touch along with the whip cream...did not need any heavy syrup at all. The Omletet was very cheesy and cooked perfectly as well....I'd have added ketchup but got the side-eye for suggesting it. Highly recommend making this a stop if you're in the area! We were in and out in no time as the service from Juana was excellent. The ambiance is bright and very much " mango-themed"...a fun spot for breakfast or lunch!

Stopped in at Toasted Mango for coffee and a quick snack and it was such a pleasant surprise. The cappuccino was delicious and perfectly made. I also had the clam chowder--great consistency, lots of vegetables, and the bacon flavor was spot on. The toasted orange mango grilled muffin with sweet butter was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

This was definitely a great little find on our vacation to Siesta key. They have a cute little patio and the indoor space is adorable also. We were a party of six so we sat indoor at one of the longer tables. The food was absolutely amazing and the portions were large. Nice and friendly staff. Hopefully I will get back to Siesta key and we will definitely try it again.

Stopped in for brunch, had the breakfast special which is 2 eggs, bacon and substitute waffle for $2 extra. Perfect! Wife had the waffle. The waffles are their specialty and definitely a must have item here. We love waffles and these didn't disappoint. Bacon was good, scrambled eggs were as you would get anywhere else, ordinary... overall very good breakfast served quickly in a very crowded restaurant. Definitely recommend!!

The Toasted Mango Cafe was fine, we all thought the food had not a lot of flavor. Seemed to have no seasoning on anything. Had to put pepper and hot sauce to get something. The staff was friendly, definitely just trying to churn and burn you as quick as possible. Which is fine it's a busy place and the more tables the more money just could've used a little more personal touch. My wife did say her burrito was good. The omelettes were very bland. Potato cake was fine. Did enjoy the jam for the toast. Very sweet. We did get smoothies to go that were alright as well. I wouldn't go back but it's close to the beach and super busy for tourists.

This is a review for the downtown location. Great little breakfast place. Had an omelet that I customized and my hubby had a Benedict with turkey and avocado. You could customize what fruit you wanted---nice touch Everything was yummy and they grilled my biscuit. Clean, cheery and great prompt service. Loved it

Enjoyed a delicious meal here with my family. It was a very casual low key place with good food and nice people. I am a celiac and there were so many options - they were knowledgeable and even knew what was cross contaminated and what they could safely make. I had gluten free chocolate chip walnut pancakes and they were the best I've eaten! My kids enjoyed the mango waffle, and my little one got an egg with toast. My husband enjoyed eggs and toast as well. We will definitely return!

Mango waffle with a side of hash.

The food here is unbelievable!! I had the homemade hash and the mango waffle. They seem to always be busy so expect a little wait but it is completely worth it!

Service was excellent. Nice homey clean inside decor. Mango Madness and Berry Delicious shakes were very good. Eggs Benedict plates were tasty with a lightish bearnaise sauce. Toasted Mango Special breakfast plates were excellent. Bacon was delish. Lighter healthier wrap and fruit plate was excellent too.

Avocado toast with arugula, feta and fresh mango with a side of fresh fruit. Absolutely delicious

The moment you enter, you are embraced by a cascade of twinkling fairy lights that shimmer like stardust against a twilight sky. Fresh flowers bloom in every corner, their sweet fragrance mingling with the comforting aroma of steeping tea and freshly baked cakes. The menu is a delightful symphony of flavors, with each dish crafted as if by fairy hands. The tea sandwiches are dainty yet satisfying, their ingredients so fresh they seem to have been gathered from a mystical garden just moments before. The salads are vibrant and bursting with life, each leaf and garnish adding to the overall tapestry of flavors. And, of course, the cakes! The cakes are tiny works of art, each bite a burst of sweetness that leaves you floating on clouds of pure bliss. Even the soups, served in charming little teacups, are more than just a meal--they are comfort and warmth, a gentle embrace on a slow afternoon. Her generosity is evident not just in the thoughtful touches that make each visit special--like the fresh flowers that greet you at every table or the extra care taken to ensure each dish is perfect--but in the way she treats each guest like an old friend. There's a sweetness in her smile that makes you feel as though you've known her for years, and a gentle warmth in her words that wraps around you like a comforting blanket. She moves with a quiet grace, always attentive, yet never intrusive. It's clear that this restaurant is more than just a business to her--it's a labor of love, a place where she pours her heart into every detail. In a world that often feels rushed and impersonal, the owner's presence is a reminder of the beauty of kindness and the power of a generous spirit. I had the most delicious breakfast. Everything on my plate was perfectly prepared. I had the traditional breakfast which was 2 eggs, bacon, potatoes (or side salad) and toast. I swapped the toast for a croissant and had the eggs scrambled with Swiss. The eggs were out of this world....super light and fluffy. The potatoes were crispy outside, soft inside and the bacon on the crisp side, but not too much. The way i prefer. The while meal was absolute perfection. I live Sarasota and go every year so I would certainly go back. The assortment of pastries and quiches looked amazing. If we didn't have a 3.5 hour drive ahead I would have brought an assortment back. Our waiter, Bryan, was lovely. He was very personable and our order was brought out exactly as ordered. My son had a veggie burger on a roll with lettuce and a yellow tomato slice with a side of fries. He enjoyed it very much and actually said he was full (he is never full). The cafe is open 7-2 for breakfast and brunch and it is adorable. Nice assortment of coffee and tea as well. Make a point of stopping in if you're in the area. You will not regret it

I really loved the theming inside the Cafe, pink is one of my favorite colors and I felt like they used the cafe space pretty well. They offer a variety of baked goods including different flavors of baklava and spinach pie. The menu also includes some fun drinks including coffee, tea and cocktails along with sorbet and gelato! We ended up trying their hot Mocha and the siamese mocktail which was ginger ale, mango, almond, vanilla and agave. We also treated ourselves to a piece of the chocolate baklava which was phenomenal, definitely give that treat a try it was a good balance of depth from the cocoa and sweetness (not pictured because we practically inhaled it). The coffee was really yummy, I did find the mocktail delicious but very sweet with my initial sips even after stirring (prior to letting the ice melt) being very syrupy (I wonder if there is a way to make it less sweet or to ask for maybe half pumps of syrups or to swap ginger ale for sparkling water), other than that the flavor combo was good just very sugary. We did purchase a day pass to play with cats which are held in a separate area visible from the cafe. I found the price of $20 for unlimited time during your stay to be pretty fair. The cats were all pretty sleepy during our visit and we anticipated a bit more cats to be present and about, (however this may be a good thing), despite this we were able to make a good time petting the cats in their perch and playing with them with the vast amount of toys available. The inside of the cat area was a bit sparse in terms of places to sit with the cats and comfy areas to lounge with them for play so that made staying an extended time a little uncomfy, we broke up our time by playing with the cats, enjoying the cafe and then playing with the cats again. Luckily re-entry was allowed in this case. We went on a Monday afternoon, so this may be due to the timing in the day but if you are expecting a place with many playful cats this may not be the place. Especially if multiple people are present you may be having to vie for attention from a few cats. However, if you are willing to move around and make your own fun and are okay with seeing cats acting in a way that is more consistent with how they would be in a normal home environment than you would have a great time, this environment is truly perfect for those looking to adopt for that reason! I appreciate the mission of Katys Cat cafe and glad I could support.
