Every little detail was perfectly planned, including the ones that would have never even crossed my mind. I love that they have relationships with so many incredible vendors, it made picking a DJ, florist, etc, super easy! What I really loved about Maddy and the Your Jubilee team is that I never felt pushed or rushed in the decision making process. They always gave me plenty of time to make decisions, and even when we were on a crunch never made anything seem like it was un-fixable. The day of the wedding was such a breeze. I had about 3 girls from the YJ team there (maybe even more?!) including Maddy. At one point Maddy was steaming my dress herself. The timing of everything was seamless. We even had our pup there and one of the YJ gals was walking him around during the reception! If you haven't been there, then you definitely need to pay it a visit. However, for a wedding venue, it was a bit odd. Maybe this was the fault of the coordinator? First the good things! The customer service really was great! The staff managing the bar area were super friendly and great to talk to at every visit! The food served was delicious, no complaints at all! The decor and aesthetics were wonderful for the venue and the Arizona area. The area in the main part of the venue, were the ceremony took place was lovely and shaded. There was a fountain and surrounded by lovely trees and structures. As with all venues, hosting a wedding with a cash or cash-less bar, this venue fell into the same issue. The alcohol not in bottles or cans just had to be watered down. There is no possible way our friends and myself had as many vodka mixed drinks, we are talking about over 10 or 11 at least for myself, and never even got a buzz. This seemed to be the consensus. The other issue was just the layout. The covered area / enclosed structure where the dinner took place was large and spacious. It was decorated with plants and man made areas that were lovely and it kept everyone together, socializing, and simply having fun. When that was done we were moved to an area behind the bar/sitting structure for live DJ and dance floor. This was simply counter productive to encouraging that togetherness and partying. instead it had various separate and distinct fire pits with covered areas and seating around each one. This pretty much cause the wedding party to all separate into their own clicks and neither one really interacting unless you were directly related/known to them some how. The dance floor was a raised gazebo area, which was lovely. However, from where some of the fire pits were, you had no view of who was dancing or if anyone was dancing. The DJ played a great playlist but she could have been definitely more interactive.

I had a vision for what I wanted the florals to look like for my wedding. Before meeting with Julie, I met with at least 5 florists. I very clear in expressing my ideas. All of the florists took over two weeks send me the proposal. They quoted me by the flower--each flower costing a certain amount which always ended up being wayyyy over my budget. When they finally sent me the proposal it was nothing like I pictured. When I would ask them to revise it, they would either tell me what I was asking for couldn't be done or they wouldn't even respond to me. ALL of that changed when I met Julie. I contacted her and she responded almost immediately. She asked me to send her pictures of ideas I had. By the time of our first meeting she already understood my style and had even more suggestions for me that were beautiful! She had the proposal done the same day and worked within my budget. She doesn't stem count so I got more flowers than in any of the other proposals for much, much cheaper. She even custom made one of my centerpieces. She has such a fantastic eye and is so experienced that she made everything more beautiful then I even thought possible! But Julie is so much more than a florist! Even though she wasn't my wedding planner (I already had one by the time I met Julie) she treated me like I was one of her brides. She constantly checked on me. When I had an issue with anything for my wedding, she went out of her way to find a solution. She was with me every step of the way and she made me feel so special and truly made my wedding planning process stress free. She is the best! I am SO thankful I found Julie. She used Wedgewood's services to create wedding gifts for the bridesmaids. She ordered bags with all of our names on them and when she received them, multiple bags had the names misspelled. She reached out to the company and they said if she wanted them fixed she would have to pay $15 per bag to fix them, ever thought it was a mistake on Wedgewoods part. She has continued to reach out with no resolution and no further responses from Wedgwood. Clayton House has not returned her emails either. This is supposed to be a beautiful day for the bride and groom and they can't even get bags for the wedding party corrected.
