Oh Table Tops, how I love thee. If I could write a love note to Table Tops I would. They are my favorite wedding vendor of all times. You know the saying, you pay for what you get? Well, Table Tops was worth every penny and probably more. I am truly going to miss working with them on the wedding planning! First, I will start with the dear owner, Melissa. Melissa is a life-saver. She knows how to deal with confused brides so very well. She knows flowers like the back of her hand and she can pick out a type of flower from a scattered description (umm. I think they are white, and tiny and typically very bridal looking?" Yes, Melissa knew the flower based on that description.) She is incredibly knowledgeable, fun and truly makes a wedding into a beautiful day. Table Tops knows quality, they know service and they know execution. They are like little flower fairies on the day of the wedding. They come in, create a fairytale wonderland with their floral and decor (if you hire them for decor), and then they leave before you even realize they were there in the first place. The quality of their flowers is impeccable and they truly create an atmosphere. I had some detailed ideas for my bouquet and Melissa created exactly what I wanted! I wanted my bouquet to look vintage chic, with my antique family buttons placed throughout it. I wanted my wedding dress lace to hold the stem together and I wanted rosary beads hanging from the bouquet. She did it! By golly, she did it and it looks beautiful! The saddest part about beautiful wedding flowers is that they only last a day, so make sure you take a lot of pictures of Table Tops' work. On another note, I would like to share one more story about Table Tops genuine and kind nature. On the day of the wedding, I showed up to the church and there was a little bit of drama with the management there. While trying to get it worked out, I was standing alone in the prep room and no one was there to help me with my veil or very long train. At that moment one of the Table Top staff who had been in charge of setting up the church flowers, introduced herself to me. I was a little nervous and flustered and mentioned my concern about my veil and train. Without another word, she so very kindly fixed both and then stood there and held them for me until I walked down the aisle. For that I will be forever grateful to Table Top. We just recently used Table Tops for our daughter's wedding at the Windmill Winery in November. It was just stunning! Melissa and her team did a fabulous job implementing our daughter's inspiration board! They are top notch and easy to work with in setup and breakdown. I can't thank Melissa and her team enough for making my dream wedding come true! I did what all the brides do...I met with Melissa and then decided to look at other florists, but I kept going back to the ideas that Melissa had come up with. Her customer service by far was one of the best we had seen with all of our vendors and she answered all my questions and helped me execute my ideas - I felt like she was reading my mind I remember when I walked into the ballroom and saw our sweethearts table and the centerpieces I was overjoyed that everything came out perfect. Table Tops etc is a class act when it comes to professionalism, customer service and execution. Weddings for sure are stressful, but having such a wonderful vendor gave me less stress. We ended up having a brunch the next day and used the flowers as centerpieces for our brunch. The flowers still looked amazing! People thought we had new arrangements done. My bridal bouquet ended up getting a little beat up, but that's my own fault...I had a massive train and had to keep setting my flowers down to carry my train or to even sit in a seat, but even days letter my bridesmaid commented on how their bouquets still looked wonderful. I can't say enough wonderful things about Melissa, Veronica, Sandra, and all the rest of the designers from Table Tops. They were fantastic! My daughter's wedding ceremony and reception were GORGEOUS, and the guests raved about the floral decorations. They transformed the backyard setting into a magical garden of beauty. Looking back on my engagement party, I am not really pleased with the work of Table Tops, etc. For the price I paid, I really didn't get that much floral work. They were on time and had everything set up at the Church and reception on time. Moving decorations from one location to the other was also taken care of well. I'm glad the event was just my engagement party and not my wedding, because I will definitely not be using them for that event. I can honestly say I hated my floral pieces. The "grey" flower that was used looked like a molded piece of lettuce. I wish I could have seen a sample ahead of time, but that was never given to me in time to make changes. My husband & I had to bump our wedding date up due to moving across the country with only 2 months to plan & have the wedding. Needless to say, a tough to throw a large wedding. I had a great wedding, but there were SO many complications that arose with having so little time. After we came home from our honeymoon I realized a handful items I owned & used at the wedding venue were missing. I had payed for various staff of my vendors to help clean up after the wedding, as well as some immediate family & members of the wedding party. My family & friends assured me that they had seen the items at one point, but they never made it back to my home. When it came to asking my venue, monOrchid, they brushed me off multiple times saying "it wasn't their responsibility" (along with MANY other issues), when I had hired to to make it their responsibility. Table Tops Etc., however, were the only ones to make an attempt to solve my problems or understand my frustration... & after a while had gone by, I was extremely upset. I sent photos to everyone who may have had my items & no one could find them. So Table Tops Etc. purchased items that were similar to the ones that went missing! Where everyone else gave me an, "It wasn't me!!!", Table Tops actually did something. Though getting items & money stolen is a bummer & a stress, the thing that got to me was that I felt like the people who were supposed to be helping me throw the most special day of my life were untrustworthy & trying to take advantage of me. I felt very sad. Having Table Tops replace the items that went missing really said to me that they care about their brides. The memories of a wedding day begins when you make the first plans for your wedding & ends once you unpack your bags from your honeymoon. Planing a wedding takes a LOT of time, organizing, money, & overall PEOPLE! Working with someone who is doing your flowers, decorations, & all of those other little details is going to be around quite a bit for your wedding planning. You want it to be with people who you can enjoy & trust, & if there is a mistake they care enough to help you fix it. We were able to gain an immediate appreciation for the quality and creativity behind her work, as well as the many options available for us to choose from. Melissa's team of design professionals put together an unforgettable event that included gorgeous flowers, table tops, linens, lighting, piping and pretty much all of the decorations. She had her work cut out for her. The bride and groom wanted an urban themed reception that reflected the charm of Downtown Phoenix. The indoor/outdoor event was taking place in an old historic building in the Downtown Phoenix Garfield neighborhood. The building, though beautiful, had lots of flaws. Where to even begin. Table Tops Etc is by far the most superior floral and decor company in Arizona. Veronica and Melissa are passionate, talented, and amazing assets to have in your corner while planning all the special events this lifetime has to offer. The decor available to rent is top notch. Up to date, modern, trendy, classic..they have it all. Most rental companies are extremely outdated and have very little pieces the modern party planner would want to rent. I used Table Tops Etc for my New Year's Eve wedding and my flowers were show stoppers. They even got me peonies when it wasn't peony season! Table tops etc really upset me with there work. I showed them what I wanted with pictures and they said they can do that same exact thing but did not deliver. I showed them specific vases I wanted them to use and they did not use what I showed them on the day. I am really upset and I wish I knew better. After the whole situation a lot of people told me that they were not a good place to go to. I thought that because they had 5 stars it would be a good place.. It was probably just family reviewing them because all the reviews are in the same time frame. They charge you for the water and for the fridge use for the flowers.. They really over charge in general. I do not recommend this place to anyone. They use as little flowers as possible to save money in there pocket. If anyone wants to see for themselves I have the pictures of what I asked for and what she made.. It's a disgrace. My mom, aunt, and the bridal party were shocked. read more
