I don't know why this business is rated so highly. Take a look at the other reviews, and you'll see that my experience isn't unique.

She was offered two upgrades by La Ocasion Flower Shop and accepted them both at additional charges. My mother was so excited to arrange for this special surprise. Upon delivery, I sent her a picture of my orchid, thanking her for the thoughtfulness. Immediately, she realized there was a mistake. While pretty, it was not at all what she ordered and paid for. She immediately phoned La Ocasión. For three weeks, she left messages and received little response and no accountability. She was told they didn't have the supplies to deliver what they sold her, but did not offer any sort of recompense. It wasn't until she threatened to call the Better Business Bureau that they processed a refund. Mistakes happen. Supply chain shortages happen. However, selling her an out of stock product and then refusing to take accountability for weeks is terrible business. Pictures attached. Like most seniors, my mother lives on a fixed income. She was so distressed at the idea La Ocasión might be taking advantage of her. For three weeks, she worried about a resolution. She didn't tell me until it was over.
