Love the snowboard furniture and sound of the river

Was very happy to have outdoor patio space and a cheap ($3) domestic. Saw some people eating sub sandwiches but didn't see a menu. When we were here they closed the outdoor bar at the end of happy hour but it was a Thursday so not very busy. Service inside was quick and friendly even though all the bar seats were taken

came here for a night out and it was suuuuper packed but fun. latest place open in town. Staff was super nice and fast with service despite the huge crowd! didn't have any food but caned drinks are always good!

If you come to Steamboat you have to come here at least once. I've come to ski here like 20 times and don't think we've ever left this town without stopping here. The food is unique in a great way and you won't find food like it anywhere else. I haven't had something from here I don't like and I think I've tried everything on the menu. The vibes are dope and in the summer you can sit along the river, which is awesome. Tried their wings today as they were on special and they were great!

I think it's 100% adorbs that Sunpie's is actually Sunpie's Bistro when in reality, they should label theirselves as a bar/gameroom/all around good time. I love Sunpie's for the atmosphere (lots of good company), the entertainment (cornhole, jenga and that ring and hook whatever game), their patio (right by the Yampa River too!) but mostly it's that Hurricane. Brace yourselves because even though they limit two to a customer, the first really packs a punch! Seriously good libations here!

I came in on a Friday afternoon and loved the vibes from the Bistro! This place had a lot of character walking in and I definitely enjoyed the atmosphere! Service and staff were super friendly! As for the food I ordered the Fried shrimp basket with hush puppies, Fried Okra, and the Muffuletta! I liked the shrimp and it's crispness! The hush puppies were super good with the honey and butter, it was a nice contrast to the shrimp! The fried okra was super yummy and the portions were beyond huge!! My party and I loved the muffuletta and we weren't used to it being warmed, but it was definitely game changer!!

Such an awesome patio. We were walking through town browsing and stopped to have a beer. Storm Peaks Guava Sour is 10 stars! It was so relaxing to sit by the River and enjoy the weather!

    Fried Shrimp Basket (just OK).

Unfriendly staff, unwelcoming bar, overpriced and possibly overcharged, and no tap. Would not recommend

Their website says 21+ after 9pm. I arrived at 7:15 for dinner with a 16 year old and was denied entry. Waste of people's time. :(

Not a great experience. Outdoor space is somewhat dirty, food was fine but would most likely not come back.

We started with a couple drinks and an appetizer from the happy hour menu. She was nice enough to let us order a second round before happy hour ended but waited until we finished our first drinks to make them. The fried green tomatoes were absolutely delicious and probably some of the best I've ever had. She said they pickle the tomatoes before they fry them. For dinner, I had the gumbo with a side of mac and cheese. It was fantastic and the perfect portion size. My colleague had the ribs with sides of a biscuit, coleslaw, and brussel sprouts. I was able to take a few bites and it was all great. We didn't have a single complaint throughout our meal. Overall, cute restaurant right off the main road from Aspen to Glenwood Springs. Plenty of parking, small clean dining area, and a beautiful small bar with a TV. We will definitely be back!

We got a Andoullie sausage roll, a Muffulleta roll, a Gouda grits roll, a Voodoo roll, and a bowl of red beans and rice with blackened shrimp. Absolutely delicious! We are very glad to have skipped the casino restaurants, very highly recommended.

Finally we got to try it ourselves and were not disappointed. Two of us tried multiple dishes. My favorites were the hushpuppies, Swamp soup, and Andouille Sausage Rolls. However I had no complaint about anything we tried. The hushpuppies were crispy on the outside and appropriately cooked inside for a satisfying bite. Those and the Swamp Soup brought back fond memories of grandma's homecooking. I'll likely crave these in the future. Both of the rolls we tried had a pleasant crunch filled with distinct but complimentary flavors. The owner, Martina, was very friendly and she does it all. This local cafe presents a lovely small town, homecooked environment making me wish I had time to linger. I am eager to visit again and try other items on the menu!
