But whoa! Francisco is such an angel! He was very encouraging and showed empathy and worked through my concerns, apprehensions and a tinge of fear of how it's all gonna turn out. And wonderfully it turned out if I should say so myself. James was awesome as well! They were all giving positive vibes. Had an appt for my 15 year old son for this past Sunday at 10:30 with William. Waited about 10-15 minutes. My son wasn't thrilled with the haircut but part of that may be his unwillingness to speak up for himself and what he wants. He left thinking that the top of his head was still too long. He obviously didn't feel comfortable asking his barber to cut more off the top. William also nicked the back of my son's ear and there were tons of little pieces of hair all over his face and neck so he didn't do a great job of cleaning up. If you're going to pay $35 for a haircut, I expect more. We will not be going back. read more

For two years now, my barber, Joe, and I have been in great communication: Pleasant conversations, eatery and sight recommendations, specific haircut designs, etc. But getting down to business, each barber has their line that they openly give to set up appointments. If by some chance they don't respond, each barber utilizes an app or a website to see what their schedule is like and can virtually make an appointment. When they are unable and/or out of the area, they make recommendations and support one another. Music is lively. Sports are on 24/7. Hair product to fit your needs are for sale. All they need is a liquor license and bar lol. read more

Untrustworthy when it comes to customer health. Asked if they would voluntarily wear a mask, said yes, I show up, wait, then tell me I can go elsewhere and they won't wear one. Vic was responsive and quick to text and Kalonius quickly set up an appointment. Asked Kalonius if they would wear a mask or not. Was told Brian, my assigned barber, responded he would wear one if I provided one. Came with a brand new and sealed mask. They had me wait for 20 min, and then when I'm sitting down Brian says he doesn't wear masks and isn't willing to and I can go somewhere else if I want. If they are misleading on a voluntary verbal no pressure public health question, who knows what else they do that impacts health and being sanitary. Good price but is your health worth it? Edit. Upped to two stars because when I let Vic know, he addressed the issue to use it as a teaching moment for his barbers and apologized. read more

This used to be a decent establishment, but it is no longer that. Sitting in this barbershop is like watching an episode of "The View." I want to make it clear that not all of the barbers are this way, but some of them are. They talk about their clients. Not in a good way mind you. Why are grown men gossiping about paying clients and giving poor haircuts? This is not a barbershop or at least one I am used to. It is a facsimile thereof. Do they cut some people decently? Yes, they do. Some people mind you. Most of the time you are being grifted and paying for subpar service, and BS small talk. Some people receive good service but most do not. So I needed to take a couple days to gather myself before I wrote this because whew what I'm about to tell you would trigger just about anyone. So I called to schedule my girlfriend an appointment and Joe answers the phone. I ask if I could schedule with Brian because that's who my girl had last time and she liked his work. Well joe tells me he no longer works there because he moved to Texas. I continued to ask him if there was someone else there that cuts similar to him because everyone knows every barber cuts differently just like every tattoo artist, hair stylist etc. Joe decides to respond extremely arrogant and unprofessional saying "if you want to go to Texas to get cut by brian then do that" i Said seriously and he continues with "I taught Brian how to cut so I'm pretty sure I cut better then him" I was extremely annoyed at this point and just wanted to schedule my girl and appointment thinking maybe he's just arrogant because he's good at his job. NO! When he lined up her sides he didn't even clean up the edges or blend her side burns. Let me tell you I haven't even gotten to the fucked up part yet. Before she gets there I'm texting joe to update him on the time she's getting out of work to show up for her appointment and then I proceed to tell him "Thank you so much I really appreciate you! I'm proposing today so I really wanted her to get her hair perfect " tell me why after I propose to my girlfriend she tells me that when she sat in his chair he tells her "oh so you're proposing today?" Like how in the world do you "misunderstand" my text message. it made absolutely no sense! Anybody with the least bit of common sense would of been able to comprehend my text message. Needless to say not only did he do a poor job on my girls hair he completely ruined one of the most important days of our lives. Don't trust him with your hair or your secrets. Ngl, this place did me dirty. I went in after seeing the videos on instagram expecting a clean up, lineup and an at least decent cross design and I only ended up only getting the first two. The design was incredibly asymmetrical (and barely a cross, yes I could have specified but I feel like a plus sign isn't what comes to mind when you hear cross) and after my friend let me know, I went back in to get it "fixed" and it still came out asymmetrical. My homie who cuts hair (and mind you, isn't even an official barber) could've done a way better job and I would've paid 10 instead of 30 (35 with a tip that i shouldn't have added in the first place.) First picture is first try, second picture is after i went in to get it "fixed". Most noticeable discrepancies are the difference in hair cut on the bottom left to bottom right and the size and symmetry difference on the top and bottom. Won't be coming back. read more
