parking: in a smaller plaza located at the corner of a street. the parking spaces themselves are a bit tight. seating: only has 2 person tables; can sit to around a max of 12-14 people inside the cafe. no outlets that are near the tables. free wifi! their menu offers a good selection of sweet pastries alongside coffee and noncoffee options, which makes it a great place for all varying palates. they source their financiers from mr. brown financiers (seen them online and in other cafes i think). the person taking my order was super friendly and honest when i asked about the possibility of doing a guava puree add in. she told me that they tested and it wasn't that good LOL. i ordered the earl grey financier, which was recommended to eat cold. eating in this way helped keep everything more intact rather than crumbling (idk if financiers crumble). the earl grey flavor was not as present but i still enjoyed the delicate sweetness of it. however, the london matcha cloud was not my cup of tea because of the strong fragrance from the earl grey. it's kind of like when someone sprays too much perfume and the smell is overpowering. because of this, it was a bit difficult to taste the matcha. good ambiance and not a bad place to do some work. read more

Went here this am to pick up 2 gift cards for people who love this place. Cafe has a very calm vibe and clean interior. Their menu was pretty simple (which I appreciated) and was not overwhelming at all. Prices were decent as well. They have a few yummy looking pastries that I'll probably try next time. I have been coming to this coffee shop for almost 2 years! The owner and staff are very friendly. The inside is always clean, plenty of seating, and natural lighting to get work done. They have a variety of pastries to choose from and my favorite go too are the Croffles (have them warm it up if you plan to eat it right away). I have tried a variety of drinks and one of my favorites is the Spanish Iced latte. I like to add cream top and substitute for oatmilk (Never disappoints). The Biscoff iced latte is also good, it is not as sweet compared to the Spanish if you want something that is a little more subtle in flavor. Their Einspanner would be the next one that is less in sweetness compared to the other two. My recommendation is add the cream top to each of these for an extra sweetness without having to add any extra syrup to them. Overall wanted to give the shop the credit they deserve and hope you stop by and try it for yourselves :) read more

This is a cute mom and pop spot with friendly staff. My daughter got the iced strawberry and said it tasted like strawberry milk. My son had the banana milk matcha latte and loved it. The mango creamsicle seemed to be a new item on the menu and it was absolutely fantastic and refreshing. The baked good looked delicious but we didn't try any because we already ate. I always pass by this place since I basically live next door and I'm glad I finally stopped by! Came here around 11 AM on a Friday morning and it wasn't too empty nor busy as people continued to come in. I got the Matcha Latte w/ whole milk and my cousin got the Biscoff Latte w/ oat milk. The matcha latte was good, but I've had better (perhaps my standards are higher because of all the Ktown cafes). Regardless, I enjoyed the matcha latte... I just wish the matcha was stronger, but I could tell it was good quality ceremonial grade. Maybe I'll try their strawberry latte or add a cream top in the future for a sweeter taste. As for the Biscoff Latte, my cousin thought it was a good amount of sweetness and the cream top was delicious to balance out the latte. She wishes that the latte tasted more like cookie butter/Biscoff, but it did come with not only one, but two biscoff cookies! From what I saw, there were plenty of parking spots available and tables for studying! Only downside is I didn't see any outlets, but there is a restroom inside and they were playing nice cafe-esque music. I love how the interior looks--very cute, clean, calming, and minimalistic! We've been twice in two weeks and the strawberry matcha is amazing! The service is impressively FAST and pleasant. And the banana bread was still warm by the time she got around to eat it. This coffee shop is an absolute treasure. Delicious and affordable, Mono Coffee is a low-key space tucked on the far east side of Lakewood. It was quiet and calm when I dropped in a Wednesday morning. It was super low-key. I tried their iced banana latte. The banana flavor was blended into the milk and was extra rich and banana-y. It was so delicious. The espresso was strong and helped balance out the super sweet banana-iness. They had so many pastries in their case! I wish I had more people with me to try other drinks since their menu looked great. The London Matcha Cloud sounded interesting and since this is a coffee shop, I ordered the Biscoff Latte to-go. Who knew that London Fog and Matcha would harmonize so well together? The earl grey based tea stood out and so did the Matcha! The drink was silky, refreshing, and sweet. I should have ordered a second one to-go. This is a 5/5 for me. The Biscoff Latte was also delicious. The barista said the coffee would be sweet, but I think the London Matcha Cloud was sweeter. For a coffee, the drink was sweet and creamy. It wasn't too busy (at least when I went) Food/drink: Banana Matcha Latte (no milk substitution option) 5/10: they seem to just use 1 of tbe Korean banana milk cartons for the banana flavor, which I wasn't the biggest fan of. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't the greatest. There are some other stronger banana matcha latte contenders in Orange County Mango Matcha Latte (with oat milk) 6.5/10: it was a unique and creative drink, but it personally wasn't my cup of tea. The mango flavor tasted fresh and not artificial, but the matcha was on the grassier side so it wasn't what I was looking for Together, the drinks costed $14.45. I was expecting a bit more from this coffee shop given the past glowing reviews, but drinks wise, it was a miss for me. Perhaps I just didn't select the right beverages for my own taste! My experiences here (all 4 of them) have been 50/50 I've had two good experiences and two not great ones. Each of my bad experiences were when earlier in the when the not so personable gentleman is working behind the counter. The coffee and the chai lattes have all been pretty consistent with flavor. It's more so the gentleman that works there early AM that kills the vibe for me. There is a girl that works there and her personality and energy makes it worth stopping by. My boyfriend usually swings by this place on his way home from work. I finally decided to come check it out in person. I got the London matcha cloud and two of their newer fall item, banana milk mocha latte with mocha cream top and hojicha latte with mocha cream top. All the drinks were very tasty. If you never had banana milk, you should probably try it before ordering it. You can definitely taste both the banana milk and the mocha and it's balanced out. The Hojicha latte turned out to be my favorite. I love Hojicha in general. I did also really enjoy the London matcha cloud because it has a strong earl grey flavor. These drinks are so cozy. Croffle is sweet and delicious and the super berry bagel with cream cheese was a nice breakfast. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. I love that this is so close to me. Let me start off good, I really love coffee spots that open early because I have work at 7:30, I also had the croissant ham and cheese which was good. I needed coffee before work because I'm so tired. Now I had a caramel latte and let me tell you that is not a latte. That is 70% espresso and 30% milk which it should be the other way around, I barely tasted the caramel flavor as well, I might as well just gotten an espresso if I wanted that. They identified their most popular items for us and even gave us samples of an earl grey matcha drink they had. Super sweet of them. The shop itself is clean and well kept. Went here on Christmas day since it was open. It was quite busy and I looked it up on Yelp. I looked at the menu and decided to get a matcha drink that I haven't tried around the area since they have regular matcha lattes and the regular mango strawberry or ceremonial. After I ordered, I was excited to try the drinks, but I was a little bit disappointed because the earl gray matcha cloud was a little bit sour and the cream top did not taste as good has other places I've had. I think it's probably because the cloud is milk-based and the milk they used in The Latte was oat milk. Both drinks weren't sweet and I'm the type of person that usually like sweet drinks. What was weird is that I noticed the matcha getting extremely oxidized even after maybe an hour of ordering the items. Not sure if that's normal, but I've had other places and it does it change color that quickly. I probably won't get that drink at this place again and I will likely try to get one of their coffees too make a more thorough review of the cafe. I'm sure it is a good place to study with your friends and it seems like they put an effort into the atmosphere which is pretty chill and contemporary ambiance.
