This is such a fun new place! Came here just for a casual dinner, you order at the front and then they bring the food to your seat. they also had a lot of staff clearing tables continuously so if there wasn't a seat right away, one opened pretty quick! the food was amazing. I got the Shawarmabama and the lamb was very flavorful, and the tzatziki was very authentic. I will say the star of the show was the hummus. It has an amazing lemony spiced flavor with the warm pita bread was divine!!! A must go for Omaha

This place continues to amaze me. The value is simply amazing. $1.99 kids meals (when eating in), complimentary pita while wait, and huge portions on all their items. This place just hits all the right notes. The service is also phenomenal. Considering the amount of patrons they serve, everything is just so smooth. Always a good place to sit. They make sure you're happy...and if you're not, they will make it right. It has a very upscale feel, but really moves fast. Definitely recommend the stacked hummus bowl and the crème brûlée is soooo good. Happy eating!

4 stars for Meddys. Overall, the food is fresh and it's a nice addition to village pointe and West Omaha as there's not a ton of Mediterranean options out here. The produce is all very fresh, the dishes are well-seasoned, and the pita is warm, fresh, and not bland like so many others. I ordered a side of lamb Shawarma and it was so greasy. I understand lamb is usually not a lean meat, but it was dripping with grease and I had to use several napkins to soak up some of it. A bright spot was the watermelon radishes on the veggie plate. I see these so infrequently when I'm dining out and it was a lovely surprise and also added beautiful color to the plate. We received excellent service from the employees bringing food out to the tables. Very helpful when there was a miscommunication.

Visited for dinner for the first time this evening. The restaurant features a modern design and offers a spacious, comfortable atmosphere. Orders are placed at the counter, and the food is brought to your table. Our meals arrived in under 10 minutes. I ordered the garlicky chicken, served with garlic potatoes, pickles, and relish, along with a cup of mushroom soup. The dish was served hot; the chicken was well-roasted with a rich garlic flavor, and the potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. While the menu is not extensive, it offers a variety of options to suit different preferences. The staff provided attentive and exceptional service throughout our visit. We look forward to returning.

1st time eating here, didn't realize it was counter-service ordering. You order at the register, pay, grab a drink and a table number and they bring it out to you. Fast-casual set up which made it very quick, but they give you real nice plates, bowls and silverware. I got a Big Bowl with Lamb and get potatoes, rice and veggies. It was incredibly fresh and delicious, packed with flavor. 10/10. On Valentines Day, ladies eat free and they gave me a rose too.

Meddys is a modern, casual restaurant in the Village Point shopping center. I love this spot! The portions are HUGE and the atmosphere is fun and light. I ordered the Meddys Main Plate and it was so colorful. The Spanish Eggplant side surprised me when it came out as it was served like a soup. I was pleased to find the mixture was warm and hearty. I had the lamb and it was delicious, and so tender. I got to try the hummus and it was also really tasty. We waited in a short line to order. I like that they have paper menus to review while you wait, so ordering is quick. Once seated there are several staff members to refill waters and run orders. When we went it was a beautiful evening and they had the patio doors open to let in some fresh air. They also serve complementary pita bread and olive oil. I have to mention the amazing price point. My entree was around $17 and was excellent quality. The portions are generous and the ingredients are fresh. I would highly recommend Meddys!

Still slaps. Service actually seemed like it's improved since the last visit. They were more on top of refills and boxes. Food is so good. I cannot get myself away from the chicken main plate and falafel. So happy to see they're staying consistent and busy!!

I enjoyed my food! Their servings are huge. My husband and I can split one meal and have leftovers depending on how hungry you are. I love their sauces. The garlic sauce is my favorite. Wish this was closer!

We were looking for a place to escape the cold and enjoy a delicious meal. This was the perfect spot! I love how spacious and bright their restaurant is, with the added fun touch of the fake olive trees and beautiful tile work and smart lighting and decor throughout. Then you add to all of that beautiful environment, the simplicity and ease of a quick " order at the counter" system, and it makes for a pretty seamless experience. This time around, I opted for the Mediterranean salad with salmon and my husband tried one of the lamb entrees with the hummus that came up in a lot of reviews. As soon as you are seated, someone comes over pretty quickly with a warm pita bread for you to enjoy while you wait - a fun touch! We both loved our dishes, I particularly enjoyed the salmon, and my husband was delighted to have tender and flavorful lamb. I'm sure we will be back, especially to take advantage of their great kids meals (1.99/ kid when dining in)

Always so good! Portions are ginormous!! Shared with 3 adults and 2 kids and still had leftovers. Everyone was so nice. Still getting used to ordering at the counter but having them serve it to you at the table awesome place to try!!

I love Meddy's! A great, easy, and fast mediterranean place. Very casual eatery where you order up front and they bring it to your table, but still very upscale restaurant vibes! Food is also amazing! Healthy and fresh. We always get the big bowls and garlicky potatoes. We love Cava and this is similar, my husband said he might like it more!!

Stopped into Meddys before work to grab a quick to-go meal to eat during my break. A lot of people I work with go here regularly, so it was finally time for me to try it. I'll start by saying I'm a picky eater, so a good portion of the menu doesn't really appeal to me--but if your palate has evolved beyond that of a 5-year-old, you'll probably be more than fine. I ordered the big bowl with chicken as my protein and asked for the relish to be left off, which they accommodated easily with no issues. The portion size was great. I ate half before work and saved the other half for my break, and it reheated really well. Everything tasted fresh and filling, and I appreciated how convenient and quick the whole experience was. Overall, it's easy to see why Meddys is a go-to spot for so many people. Solid option for a fast, healthy-ish meal, especially if you're grabbing something to go.

Recently, we were trying to go to Rookie's Bar for a quick bite, but it must have been thirsty Thursday because they were PACKED. But who was right next door and reminded us how great they were? Mediterranean Bistro! First off, the decor is pretty cute. There are flowers and art everywhere. There was a fountain at some point, but it looks like it wasn't working anymore. We don't come to a restaurant simply for the decor though, so on to the more important things - the service and food! Our server was wonderful and checked on us so much. The owner was even there when we were dining and we got to speak with her (she was so nice!) They have great quality foods too that are filling but not too heavy. We started with the vegetarian lavosh, which was YUM. It was a perfectly crispy bread with cheese melted on it, and topped with tomatoes, black and green olives, artichokes, and cilantro. Very tasty and it didn't need any meat on it, it was so flavorful. Next we had the falafel with hummus (I recently went flexitarian, so 90% vegetarian), and it was divine as falafel goes! Crispy outside and soft warm inside, with lots of tzatziki sauce for dipping. Great snack, or meal if paired with another small item. And pair with it, I did. I also got the barley soup in a cup and it was warm and filling, like a soup that would be perfect for a chilly Fall day. My husband had the shish kabob, which he loved. He had been annoyed at the Rookies situation but the lavish put him righ back in a good mood. And for dessert, we had both the tiramisu and baklava. Both were expertly made and deliciously sweet. We took most of those home and ate them over the next few days. Love when you can do that. With a smattering of many different items, I can honestly say this dining experience was great from beginning to end!

However, I came seeking something that was both fresh and local as well as ethnically and culturally distinctive, and it was a winner. The menu is marked for vegan and gluten-free concerns. Falafel is available as a platter, a wrap, or a salad. I opted for a salad. I appreciated the toppings, but I also appreciated the ability to customize. I opted to stick with everything (since they don't do cucumbers like a lot of places) and found the chickpea and carrot salad and red cabbage to contribute a significant texture and flavor variety. There were only two falafel balls, albeit large ones, but the overall result made for a nice light meal. I made it a bit heavier of course by ordering fries, which were made freshly and tossed in curry-flavored spice that delivered a mouthwatering aroma that elevated the fries themselves. A little slotted stick was given as a utensil to pick up the fries, which I started by using and then stopped when the fries cooled down. Overall, I could not ask for much more in a falafel place. The drink selection didn't wow me, so I just got a water.
