Wow wow wow, what an incredible addition to the Village Pointe area! This restaurant is an elevated quick service meal, that is one of the best Mediterranean food places I've had in awhile. You order up front, and then you seat your self with a number card. There was lots of seating inside and outside, but the place definitely fills up quickly. I loved how there was even a bar if you wanted a little drink with your meal. There were lots of options whether you were gluten free, vegan, etc. They even had gf pita, which I was excited for. Everything is decently priced, and you get a lot of food for what you pay for. I went with the garlicky chicken. It was so crispy, and moist. The sauce was very garlicky, but I love garlic so was happy. The hummus was one of the best tasting hummuses I've ever had. I did try some of their free sauces, and the red pepper aioli was one of my favorites. The service was also incredible. The staff checked on us multiple times throughout our meal, and got us refills whenever we were getting low on our drinks. Went in here for a quick lunch during a weekday, and it was bustling inside. You order at the counter and they bring food to table. I really enjoyed the lamb big bowl. Meat with juicy and flavorful. This is an absolute must try if you enjoy Mediterranean food. This location does not specifically one region of food, but a variety of flavors and plates. As a vegetarian, this is an absolute heaven for options. The environment is lively, a bit cramped, but the plethora of tables allows you to always have options for seating. I ordered the falafel plate, which included a choice of salad, the house hummus, pita or chips, and also a bowl of the Spanish eggplant. The falafels themselves are fresh, full of herbs, and with a well blended inside that made them not fall apart but stay together more like falafel nuggets. The outside was crispyyy and delicious! If you've ever made your own hummus, you'll be able to identify this hummus is made and not store bought! The thinner, yet creamy, texture has a strong tahini and lemon flavor without being overhearing. Paired with the endless amount of pita being brought around.. you could truly just fill up on that alone! The pita is definitely one of the main draws here considering it is fluffy and you can open it up to stuff with hummus or protein. My family absolutely loves it, and the servers walk around supplying tables constantly with new batches! We even requested some to-go with our leftovers and they happily complied. My brother ordered the chicken and was shocked by the portion sizes! The potatoes on the side were perfectly crispy and seasoned. My cousin and my mom both order the chicken and rice bowl repeatedly, in love with the flavors and portion size! My cousin is picky too, so her repeatedly returning for a dish is a special compliment to say the least. The service was kind, speedy, and thoughtful! They moved people through the order lines quickly and were mindful to clear the table when necessary to create a clean space to stay and chat. Due to the nature of the establishment, it seems that servers get paid a bit of a higher hourly wage (as advertised on a poster) which made me feel comfortable sitting and chatting without feeling like I was taking up a table that they could be 'turning' and making money on. I tried Meddys for the first time after hearing great things from some of my friends in Yelp Elite who got to go to their last event, so I had to check it out for myself. They were right, the food was excellent. You order and pay at the counter, then grab any seat you like. While you wait, they bring out free pita bread, which I wasn't expecting. I didn't do any research before going here. I was looking for mediterranean food and this popped up as a highly rated spot. We went in on a Saturday night and it was not as I had expected. They have a line that you wait in before you can go up to the counter to order your food. When we got there in the evening of Saturday this place was PACKED. The line was out the door onto the sidewalk. We waited for around 20 mins in line to order our food. I ordered the hummus bowl with the peta chips and my fiancé got the garlicky chicken and we shared a side of the hummus with half peta bread and chips. After you order you sit and they give you a table number. While we were waiting for our food a server came around with complimentary peta bread which I feel they give out to those who are waiting for a certain amount of time. We only waited another 10 minutes for our food to come out hot. The garlicky chicken is a big serving and so is the hummus bowl. Looking back we could have done without the side of hummus and just shard my hummus bowl. The hummus had a nice nutty flavor to it and everything tasted real good. If you are planning on going here I would recommend going on a night they are not as busy or not during one of their rush hours so you don't have to wait in line so long and the place isn't as loud. I loved the complimentary pita bread that came to our table prior to our meals. that was a cute little treat! The interior has plenty of seating plus a patio. the overarching trees inside add a beautiful organic element to the atmosphere that really makes the place look more upscale than it is! Had a great experience here! The location is very clean, spacious and trendy! It was the perfect vibe for my husband and I on a sunny afternoon. The wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable and gave great recommendations and the food service was prompt. We started off with pita bread which was delicious. Good Mediterranean option in the area! Really fluffy pitas and love that they print the calories on the board for their menu items. This place completely surprised me, I went to Meddys just by chance because I was out at Village Point shopping and I was hungry, I had no idea it would be this good. When you arrive you get in line and just go to the counter and order, nothing fancy, although the decor is pleasant and there is a nice patio. They take your order and give you a number for your table, soon after you sit down someone brings you a warm pita to munch on, when you dip it in the olive oil and spice blend provided at the table it's pretty tasty. I ordered the Big bowl with beef and half vegetables and half rice, I seriously couldn't believe how good it was, I'm not the biggest veggie fan, but these were fantastic, plus the steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I'm not a huge bread, person, but dipping this in the oil, and the sauces that they provide was absolutely amazing. At one point a server was walking around with extra pita for different tables, and I was so excited to get a second one!! Another great thing about this spot is there a sauce station. As someone who loves to absolutely drench my food and sauce, this is very much appreciated!! The red pepper sauce was me and my friend's favorite, but the garlic was great as well. Went into Meddys without knowing much beyond it being Mediterranean. It's a fast-casual setup, so you order at the counter and then find a seat. Despite that, the service felt full-service. The staff was fantastic--friendly and attentive. They brought warm pita to the table, kept our drinks topped off, cleared plates, and even brought to-go containers without us needing to ask. We tried a few dishes: the Hummus Plate with chicken, the Grilled Grazer, and chicken with veggies and rice. Everything was flavorful and well-seasoned. I wish I would have taken pictures of the food, but I was so memorized by the decor that it slipped my mind! I went to Mendys on a Friday at lunch. It was a little nervous it was gonna be super busy, but they have the line down to a science. When we got there, the line was all the way to the door, but it went super quickly. It was also nice that most people were following the rules to order before you sit down. There was plenty of seating even with how busy it was. I ordered the chicken Shawarma wrap with fries. I was craving some falafel as well, but I was bummed you couldn't add chicken to the falafel wrap and I was hoping to get some good protein at this meal so I opted for the chicken. I am a little bummed about my decision because while it was tasty, it just wasn't anything special. While the chicken had a nice flavor to it, I couldn't tell if there was even hummus in the wrap, and it was missing some sort of bright acidity like a fresh tomato/cucumber/onion salad. Walking to my table after ordering, I wish I would've gotten one of the platters where I would've gotten protein and falafel and veggies, but I wasn't sure if that was going to be too much lunch. The person I was with is gluten-free and they had some good gluten-free options, including the wrap which she seemed to enjoy. The service was great and super speedy. They have the drink fountain behind the counter, but they also have people walking around asking if you want drink refills and taking plates. You wouldn't have known it was their soft opening because everything was in point. The place is really cute too with a cool Mediterranean vibe. It is not a full service restaurant. You order at the counter, take a number, find a table, and they bring your your food. We were brought some delicious, thick, fluffy pita as we were waiting for our meals to arrive. My son ordered the pita and hummus, my daughter had a Mini Meddy, my husband had a stacked hummus bowl, and I had the Beef Kefta Big Plate. My plate came with veggies and a side of your choice. I've eaten here 4 times and really can't recommend this place enough. Located in my favorite shopping center, VP, with plenty of parking near by, it's a super great fast casual environment. Don't let how crowded it may appear, there is ample seating inside this super cute interior. It had all the vibes of the med, with lots of greens, and a large focal tree in the center. Ordering at the counter the staff is extremely helpful. I've had a few different dishes, but I really recommend the main plate with lamb. I've had the lamb dishes 3 of the 4 times, and the time i strayed to steak, I immediaely regretted it. Also both times my fries have been soggy so I don't recommend that side. I tried the hummus bowl as well, and that was good. their hummus is SO creamy! I don't know how they do it, but it's one of my favorites. The warm pita they serve when you sit is also fabulous. Something to absolutely note is the service is incredible. It's not seated service, but someone is always walking around asking how you are doing, if you need refills, and clearing plates. Came here for Yelp elite week and it did not disappoint. The place was packed but the line went fast and the customer service was excellent. Everyone was so nice and helpful when ordering. I decided to get the lamb platter, which was excellent. I thought the price was good considering it's a huge portion. I got two meals and a snack out of this platter. The garlic potatoes were out of this world. I want to go back just for those. And don't even get me started on the hummus.. it was hands down the best hummus I've ever had. It was soooo creamy. You could tell they were instructed to walk around to make sure everyone is doing alright. The girl we flagged down to ask for boxes to go was so kind and even offered to get us to go drinks as well. The food was very reasonably priced, and the portions were HUGE, we went home with leftovers for days! I understand the hype now - decently priced Mediterranean plates (including $2 kids meals for dine in!), and one of the cutest quick service dining rooms I've seen in Omaha. We tried the falafel plate and shwarmbaa pita for a quick Sunday lunch and everything was tasty. The falafel itself is pretty light on seasoning but it has a nice thin, crisp outside and fluffy interior, and paired well with the hummus and tahini.
