First appointment to see Dr. F. Rodriguez was a 2 hour wait for annual exam after fasting for blood work. Finally met Dr. and could understand little of what he was saying because his English is awful. Really awful! I have a memory issue. Dr. he took me to exit counter during exam to explain I may forget to ask for a chest plate when leaving. I forgot and was not reminded at exit counter. No chest plate as Dr. recommended. The nurse could not draw blood after 8-10 pokes, therefore I have to fast again and come back. Dr. said he would immediately order a much-needed prescription for me because I was out. I went to pick it up at pharmacy but it was not ordered at Walmart. The only Walmart in Tamarac, it was ordered at a Walmart 10 miles away in another City. The following day I went to pick it up at the correct pharmacy. Again, it was not ordered by Med Florida. I called Med Florida; was told it was ordered wait an hour. The same thing happened later in the day twice. I called the pharmacy this a.m. and was told Med Florida has not ordered it. We called Med Florida, and impolite lady said it was ordered to correct pharmacy. After 10 minutes I hung-up and called back. Lady said it was ordered but only 3 prescription refilled for one week. WRONG!!! 3 refills would kill a horse (30 mg of TAMAZAPAM). She insisted she was not wrong and would not check with the Dr. or let me speak to him. DONT USE MED FLORIDA! read more

This is the second time I come to MedFlorida and I am extremely happy with their service. Everyone is very nice and professional. I went to do my bloodwork today and I told the staff that I usually get dizzy and pass out, they were very gentle and went out of their way to make me feel secure and confortable with the process. I have been using their services for years and have always liked the doctors and nurse Carol Pinder is the best. However, the REFERRAL SYSTEM IS THE WORST. I'm in pain 24/7 and have to wait two weeks to get my referral and who knows how long after to get an appointment with a specialist. No one should be in pain waiting for referral's. read more

I visited MedFlorida Medical Center in January of 2019 as a new patient for an annual visit with PA Palmer. My first time experience was average, paperwork, a bit of a wait time, typical weight, height, general questions, blood work then I was good to go until my next annual physical. Departing my visit I made my annual appointment for 2019. I confirmed my appointment on Friday through the automated phone call and arrived at my appointment today, Monday, 15 minutes early, only to learn that I lost my appointment- it was given away to someone else. The receptionist/ front desk seemed to already be agitated and dealing with another appointment mistake and tried to reschedule me for tomorrow. I work a full time management role, took today off, confirmed my appointment and simply could not return the next day. MY APPOINTMENT was CONFIRMED. I also received a voicemail 1 hour before the appointment asking for a call back, no mention of losing the appointment OR sense of urgency. I was already en route to the appointment and seeing as I confirmed, did not feel I needed to return the call in that moment. I've never received a call an hour before anything that was fully booked and confirmed. 40 minutes later, the office manager Martha, came out with a full blown attitude dismissing the fact that they were indeed in the wrong, and I can't be seen. The doctors time is booked. Fair enough, but what about my time and patient care? She began to raise her voice and challenge what I was stating and mock me because it didn't work for her. Also her choice in vocabulary was comical to say the least. I believe you have better communication and service at the DMV, at least they keep appointments. If you're seeking moderate care, and possibly to have an appointment around your scheduled time consider going else where. Distasteful experience from a group who do not have the better interest and service of their patients in mind. read more

If I could leave a zero I would. The Aventura office staff are incompetent and their customer service is atrocious. I have been going to Dr. Cintron for a couple of years and if you require anything outside of a basic annual exam it is a nightmare. There have been numerous instances where the office has stated they would "fax" over a referral and after numerous follow ups it still hasn't been completed. They code visits incorrectly so I'm always getting billed extra and have to try and rectify. Dr. Cintron is a lovely doctor but, the experience outside of that is terrible. Save yourselves the aggravation and find another medical professional. Not like she ever has appointments anyways. Oh and don't ever be late because they can leave you sitting and waiting for an hour in the waiting room because the doctor is running behind schedule but send you home if you are late 5 minutes due to an unforeseen accident and you know Miami traffic. read more

Very bad service. I've been struggling for 5 months with a prior authorization form required by my medical insurance to cover for a prescription. Apprently the staff here at Aventura is not completing the forms correctly and it keeps getting rejected by my insurance. I leave voicemails for my doctor and I NEVER get a call back. they never answer the phone either unless I choose the option to get an appointment then someone picks up. I have asked for the office manager and he /she is never available and never calls back either. Horrible, terrible service. I'm searching for a new doctor/medical office in my insurance network. read more

Unprofessional nasty don't return phone calls don't know how to call in a prescription they blame everyone for their mistakes Jeanette in their main office likes to challenge you I am diabetic they left me without my insulin for four weeks.
