I was delighted by the work done at Boutiette's. I have an old (2009) Toyota with only 52,000 miles on it. I'm 82 now and didn't want a fancy new car with all those bells and whistles. I had some rust on my hood and extensive fading on the roof. Since I don't drive much anymore, I at least wanted my car to look nice. Boutiette's did a fantastic job--above and beyond. They even buffed out my headlights, that were so clouded I probably wouldn't have past inspection. All the personnel there are courteous, professional and great at their respective jobs. I have been a customer of Boutiette's for 2 vehicles needing bodywork many years ago, with not a problem. But a year ago I felt confident letting them do the bodywork job on my 2018 Tacoma with ONLY 15000 Miles on it. It only needed a fender & the wheel well molding after AAA Tire F***ed up the mounting of my 4 tires & the D/S/F wheel came off my Truck just before Rocco's, only a few 100' of driving. Which was CRUSHING to me as it was. Then I get my truck back from Boutiette's & clearly see scratches on my headlight that were not there when I left my Truck with them. I also found that they didn't even MASK OFF my windows & mirrors. I still have OVER SPRAY all over my windshield, mirrors, & side widows, my interior was full of dust & debris from them leaving my windows DOWN... YA SURE Denise says "if your not happy with the work, just bring it back they will fix it".... What ever happened to 1 & DONE??????? I wouldn't let Boutiette's TOUCH my Truck again!!!!!!! The bill to AAA Tire was over $2400. I'm glad I took a YEAR to DIGEST this NIGHTMARE before writing this review.... read more

Great service and quality work by the staff at Boutiette's. Our new used outback was hit in a parking lot. Denise and Tom were very helpful explaining how the process would go. Tom pointed out damage that we had'nt noticed and Denise took care of the insurance process and arranged a rental car for us. I've personally had 2 of my cars repaired at Boutiette's over the years and each time the work has been excellent. Everyone from the very attentive office staff to the excellent mechanics, they all have been extremely helpful and professional. The office even arranged for a rental car to be ready for me right when I dropped off my own car for repair and then they even handled the return. They are all on top of their game and make the stressful process of getting your car repaired bearable. It's honestly hard to find such good customer service these days, so these guys are a breath of fresh air. I bought a brand new car in May 2018 and didn't realize how high the hatch was when it was open with relation to my automatic garage door opener and as I was getting things out of the hatch, I pressed the button for the garage door opener because I could hear my old cat meowing outside the garage door in 100 degree weather and so the metal bar of the garage door opener scratched the hatch. UGH! My heart sank as I heard the scratch from start to finish but it was too late. Stupid, yes, but I'm human. I took it to Boutiette's and they did a perfect job. You would never know it even happened. Looked just like it did when I drove it off the lot just a few weeks before. Their work was amazing. Never thought I'd write a review for an Autobody shop, but my experience was so pleasant after such a bummer of having my new car hit, I felt I had to! Had the car for less than a month and I was rear-ended pretty bad. Needless to say I was incredibly bummed out. I was referred to Boutiette's Autobody and I brought it in the next day. The transaction couldn't have been smoother. I was in a rental car for only a couple days and when I picked up my car it looked just like it did off the lot. My poor little auto, hit twice in its short life. Fortunately, there is Boutiettes. Recommended as a place that specializes in Hondas, I've had both of the car's boo boos fixed. They are efficient, fast, and priced fairly. I'm pleased with the quality of their work. Looking at the car, you'd never know it had been side swiped! they also expertly fixed a smashed head lamp and fender from being backed into in a gas station by a pickup. Don't bring your car to these jerks. I wish I never had. Sloppy work and customer service so bad it was shocking. They did a poor job of repairing my car. The replacements parts did not fit on right, and the paint does not match. They never contacted me while they were working on it, nor did they contact me to tell me it was ready. When I asked why they did'nt contact me ( I was paying for a daily rental ) the very rude customer service lady snapped at me and said "we told you it would be ready Friday". Which was a lie, because I asked when they expected it to be done when I dropped it off. The same nasty lady said "We'll call you and let you know". But she did'nt. Lies! I went back to complain about the work they did, as part of the front bumper they put on was coming apart. The same middle aged lady with brown hair was EXTREMELY NASTY to me. She challenged everything I said, treated me like I was a liar, and was overall very very rude. I was so shocked I just stood there with my mouth open. She also gave attitude to other customers at the counter when I was there. A technician came out to look at the bumper and gave me a bunch of lame excuses why it was coming apart. A plastic bolt was completely missing. He tried to blame me by saying "you must have hit something and the bolt snapped off" which is bullshit, because I did'nt hit anything. He told me I had to make an appointment with the same awful customer service woman who had just treated me like crap. I said "forget it" and I left. I can't believe they have someone like this running the customer service department. She obviously hates her job and has a lot of contempt towards the customers. I see from other yelp reviews that she has been rude to other people too. If this business cares about staying in business, they need to fire that grumpy witch! I'm likely breaking an unwritten rule here, but I am reviewing without having even used this company. My experience just over the phone was so negative I felt I should bring it up here. My mother accidentally backed into my brand new car. It was drivable and damage was not extravagant, but the car was so new I was anxious to get the work done ASAP. The shop that my car dealership suggested was one I had had negative experiences with in the past and came across this one in research. I realized I had driven by and it looked like a nice place. Had a decent website which in this day is important. The reviews on here were not great but thought I would try. I called and a grumpy sounding woman answered and put me on hold immediately for 8 minutes. I was at work and luckily was doing work at my desk so was okay with the wait. Finally someone answered. I explained the situation and their first comment was "we can't fit you in for four weeks." I said okay and asked about estimates and they said they couldn't fit me in for that for two days. They also said they would need the car at least one week (realized after they have such limited hours which might have to do with it). I made the appointment and hung up. I continued to call around and found a place that had 12 positive reviews on here, all five star. I called them and the owner suggested I email him photos of the damage so that he could give me a general idea how long it would take (I don't have the option for car rental on my insurance). Within an hour he had called back and said he needed it for two days max, gave me a rough estimate and said he could fit me in three days later. I made that appointment and the next day called Boutiette's to cancel the appraisal appointment. Again I was left on hold, and when I told them I needed to cancel, the woman's response was "what are you doing if you aren't coming here, you going somewhere else?" I told her yes, another shop was able to fit me in three weeks sooner and would only need my car two days instead of a week or more and she said "but your car is drivable right?" I said yes, but it's a new car and I'm anxious to get it fixed and she said "well I could have taken you in two weeks but whatever" and proceeded to hang up on me. So, while I have no information on the quality of their work, I can certainly say that their customer service is so poor that I would go out of my way to let others know they should avoid this shop. I chose not to mention the name of the shop I will be taking my car to since the work hasn't been done yet, but once I have information on how that experience is, I'll update here in case others are looking. Update: the name of the shop that ended up doing my work was Archstone Auto Body. They did fabulous work and I went back a second time for another issue. They ended up also doing repair work for my mother and brother. I highly recommend them. read more

I do not recommend them at all. They keep your car forever and they don't call you with updates. I had to bring my car in 3 times to get my problem fixed. Both times I left my car there for over a week and a half and no one called me to say it was ready. The customer service is terrible. In addition, they don't have weekend hours. read more

I was referred to Boutiette's and the mechanic I dealt with (Wayne) went way above and beyond his normal responsibilities. I work in Boston and it was hard for me to drop the car off during the week. And it was a huge plus that Wayne worked around my schedule, allowing me to drop the car off at my convenience, but he also ensured that I got into a rental that very day (which was a bit of an ordeal). Wayne kept me frequently updated me on the status & I was able to reach him whenever I needed to if I had any questions or concerns. Although it took a little over 2 weeks for the work to be completed, I am very pleased that the damaged parts to my car weren't simply repaired, but replaced. The car was pretty dusty from being in the shop and I picked it up before he was able to get it washed, but left me a voucher to get an exterior car wash for chump change. Tewksbury is a bit of a hike for me but I would use this service again (hopefully not too soon) and will definitely recommend them. Good Job guys!!! read more

Just average, my car was rear-ended and I took it to Boutiette's to be fixed/painted. *Did not color match very well; if it couldn't be color matched they should have told me and I would have paid the difference to repaint the entire car. * Did not reinstall / fix the rear key access * Inside plastic on Rear corner plastic began to bow out after 2-months. not the worst i've ever dealt with but not the best either. read more

After being placed on hold and told that if my car was drivable there is a 2 week waiting list. Ummm, no thanks. Based on your yelp ratings I'll go elsewhere, the woman on the phone was not very nice. Have used Boutiette's for our fleet and have had 4 or 5 cars repaired there. Latest being Lexus with a smashed up mirror. Leave the car, they do the insurance work. Call next day. The car is done, insurance adjuster has re inspected. The mirror is fixed, painted to match and working properly. The best part..... the car is washed and spotless, there is a mat on the floor and the seat has a protective cover. It is so nice to get a car back like that. Being in the Limousine service for 25 yrs, I live, eat, and breathe customer service. I also appreciate it when i get great service. Boutiette's gets it... Highly recommewnd read more

My poor car has been rear-ended 3 times in the 10 years I've owned it - once just hours after I got my license. Every time, I brought my car to Boutiette's and they've done amazing work. The first accident left my car in such a state that I couldn't image it would ever look like new again, but somehow they managed to rebuild the entire trunk - just like new. Same thing after the other two accidents. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and though I wish they didn't know me by name, it is nice that they remember me and always ask how I'm doing, etc. Most recently, the paint on the hood of my car started to chip and bubble. I had, had them do a small repair to my hood ~6 years ago. Though they did not have to, they offered to repaint the hood at no cost because it was clear that it was an issue with the clear coat they had used (there was a Honda paint recall, which was likely the true reason for the issue). If that's not great customer service, I don't know what is! All-in-all, they do amazing work and couldn't have better customer service. As long as I'm living in the area, I'll be bringing my car to Boutiette's. read more

I had high hopes for the experience given that when I called to schedule my appt. the office staff were very helpful. I dropped off my vehicle to be repaired and things went smoothly the rental car was waiting for me when I arrived just as promised. I left my vehicle with them to be repaired and that is when things went down hill. My car stayed at the shop for only a few days and I was notified that it was finished and I was able to pick it up. I informed the staff I was working until after they closed so I would have to pick it up the next business day. They assured me that I could pick up my car after hours and just use the drop box for my rental car keys. I picked up my vehicle drove it approx 2 miles home only to have my husband notice that it had not had all of the damage repaired. After being rear ended at a fairly high rate of speed the panel next to my bumper was protruding approx 6 inches further than the side panel on the opposite side of the car. This was part of the damage done during the accident and was to be fixed during the repair. The next morning as soon as the shop opened I was in the parking lot waiting to drop my car back off. I showed the staff what the issue was and left the car at the shop once again. Later in the afternoon they called and said the insurance adjusted had to come back out and that they would have my vehicle a few more days. Just as promised a few days later I received another call that for the second time my car was ready to be picked up. When I called back I asked why the car had been given back to me without the repair being completed. I was told by the body shop employee that she had spoken to the guys in the shop and they assured her that it was not like that when it left their shop. So what are you saying? That in the 2 miles I drove home that the same damage from the one and only accident I have ever had with this vehicle just re appear magically after having been fixed. Deciding it was not worth it to argue I let it go. When my husband arrived to pick up the car he asked the garage guys what had happened and was told that the bumper replacement was not indicated on the initial appraisal which is not accurate. My husband then asked how they could have let the car leave their shop with the same damage it arrived with. To which they replied "we missed it" Uhm you missed it? Is that not your business???? I feel it is unfortunate but I am not able to recommend this business. When you accept full payment from my insurance carrier and state on the receipt that you give you customer that the work has been completed according to the appraisal yet it was not then I loose faith and trust in your business practices and question whether or not the work was done to standard. read more
