I have only been with the Bristol office for 1 month, during that time I have to say the employees are very pleasant to deal with. Jenn the office manager has been great helping me with all my insurance questions and billing. I have taken the supplements and not doing the shots yet, (I have to work up the courage to get stuck). That being said, following the program with some faltering of my mind for the things I shouldn't have, I am seeing a difference already. I can walk up a flight of stairs, feel more energized and have started to exercise again after a long illness. I bought their resistance band kit and all the rest of the bands and a cubii eliptical for under my desk at work. I am losing weight (7lbs+) in a month. I was at a different weight loss clinic and saw no results, even though they tried to be supportive, I didn't go back for over a month and they never called to see if anything was wrong. The Bristol team have been very supportive even on my bad days when I feel ugly and fat they have made me laugh and feel that much better. I am more excited now then I have been in a long time, the diet is not hard once you get past the first week, then the next. You have to keep track of what you eat but they give you a booklet that you can carry in a purse or business bag. The supplements, protein shakes( which taste so good!!) and the bars are tasty compared to other I have. This review is long overdue I do apologize. For any I still can save I will tell my story. It began back in March, when I was very depressed and wanted to lose 100 lbs to be healthier and happier. I discovered medi-weightloss a no surgery ,no medication ,PA and nutritionist. It really did sound amazing!! I booked my consultation for the following Tuesday. I met with Christine from headquarters(at that time I didn't know this) she explained to me how the program worked and told me I would be an excellent candidate . At which point I agreed but still needed to know the cost financially. She assured me it was $54 to $58 a visit after the initial physical and bloodwork which was between $140 to $200. This was what I wanted,this was what I thought I needed so I went forward with the initial physical the following week. I came in for a second visit and met with the nutritionist(I forgot her name very hyper) she was a sweetheart at least I thought. She showed me everything I needed to do. Wanted me to record everything I ate and to drink as much water as possible. The following week I went in for my follow-up visit I lost 5 pounds woohoo !!!! However it was a nightmare right after that. The nutritionist didn't even open up my book to see what I had eaten, she was very hyper all over the place and the only words I remember her saying was ,drink more water I'll see you next week it was literally a five-minute visit. They're more like sales people at the Bristol location. So I decided to try the B12 shot I explained I did not want the b6 shot .Being a medical professional myself I did not feel that was something I needed. I heard Kate say from the hallway did she talk to her doctor? She came in didn't direct the question to me, just gave me the shot (with the b6)at that point I had to ask her again for my blood work results.Seeing as how it's almost been a month now and I haven't heard anything from them. Turns out my blood levels were all over the place and my blood sugar was a little high definitely something I would have wanted to know asap. I paid for the results. Can't get any worse right? So I thought I went to check out expecting to pay 74 to about $78. My total was $103. Turns out Christine(from headquarters) gave me the wrong estimate. How did I know she was from headquarters ?? Well the lovely Kate told me! She said Christine from headquarters gave you the wrong price, I wasn't in the room there's nothing I can do for you. I said to her if I was quoted the wrong price why didn't someone tell me before I started this whole process ?Kate literally shrugged her shoulders and went back to doing her computer work. I stayed calm paid the $103 and immediately called Headquarters to search out Christine. Christine was in a meeting I left her a voicemail she called me back alarmed as she stated the next day. She was supposed to look into getting me a refund. She said that the staff at Bristol definitely are going to require more training AND THAT THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL. And that if I ever want to go to another mediweightloss facility its now in the computer that I should be paying the $54 rate. I explained to her that I'm very disgusted that once my trust is gone for something, I don't care if there's another location that has 50,000 Stars I will not go. She said she's so sorry and that she will call me back with more information. Christine called me back ,didn't mention a refund didn't mention anything just that she hopes I won't give up in my journey to lose the weight. I can't explain to you how this still EFFECTS me and we just reached July, I have trust issues and I wanted to really trust that this was something I could do with the help of a professional. $54 a week is not cheap!!!! However I felt that if I was going to have the help I needed to finally lose weight I was willing to work a extra day a week to pay for it. There's a saying to each his own! The staff is great. I never have to wait, which is great because I go on my lunch hour. I have lost over 20 lbs in 9 weeks and it has been easy. My insurance covers it 100%. You eat regular food, so there are no added expenses. Strongly recommend. read more
