Ordered for delivery on Uber Eats and the food was amazing! The portion was super filling, the taste was great despite the delivery delay, and the price is reasonable. The chicken kebab plate came with roasted chicken thigh, rice with chickpeas, a side salad, and pita bread. Everything was perfect. Will definitely order from again and will be visiting their physical location.

I found this restaurant innovative. With light options and also full dinners, MC offers a full restaurant dining experience while also ordering at the counter, which I really liked. My friend & I went had dinner here before seeing "Hamilton" at the Marcus PC and it was delightful evening all around. The lentil soup was delicious and the wrap very good; I could have just had the soup as portions are very generous. My friend was happy with her Chicken Shawarma plate and she enjoyed everything on it, specially the salad. The service is nice and attentive. Super nice ladies! And the atmosphere is very nice. I liked that they kept the holidays lights. Also the colors on walls enhance the Mediterranean experience. Tip: The business has its own app and a rewards program, as well. Unfortunately, it wasn't mentioned in any of my visits.

The food was underwhelming. I thought for Mediterranean food, it was less flavorful. The chicken was really dry and felt overcooked. I think with more flavors and juiciness, the dishes would be better. You order at the front and just get your food which was fast. The seating is plenty but it's not an upscale place, meant more for chill spot.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while and today I got delivery from them. The falafel plate is flavorful perfection. Whether it is for one person (meal and munchies for later) or a light dinner for two, this hits the spot. Another great place in Milwaukee to get Mediterranean food from!

I've dined here or had carry-out three times, and the food and service have been consistently excellent! Yesterday I met a friend for lunch. He ordered a Vegan Kebab plate that he really enjoyed, and I ordered the Adana Kebab Plate with two large kebabs, house rice, grilled pita, side salad, and a stuffed grape leaf. It would have easily fed two people, and it was delicious! The veggies in the salad were very fresh and crisp! We also had a dessert that was like a combination of tiramisu and baklava from the dessert case. I don't see it in the menu, but describe it that way and they'll know what you mean. It is a MUST! We also enjoyed Turkish Tea and added a sugar cube for the right taste. On my prior visit, I ordered the Iskender, which is cooked in butter and served in a tomato sauce. The meat was so incredibly tender and savory! The location can be tricky with downtown parking, but I've always found a spot in the street within a block or two, and this place is worth it!

Kind of a sit down restaurant. But you also order at the counter. We were a little confused at the first. The food was amazing though and more than I could eat. I'm obsessed with their red hummus. Had a great kick to it. I wasn't a fan of the baba gonush but my husband enjoyed it. They did mess up our appetizer options. But quickly brought out our Greek fries that we had ordered. Only complaint is the drink situation. I saw one waiter refilling water but no one else. Was I suppose to go up to the counter and ask for a refill? They brought us out the water and food so I didn't think so. But not sure. Would definitely consider going again if we were in the area.

I picked up Mediterranean Cuisine for take out on a Saturday at around 5pm. That is an early dinner for many but there was not a single dine in guest. It was a bumping Saturday night downtown as well. A little suspicious. I got the Gyro Plate, Combo Plate, Hummus Plate, Side of Falafel and extra Grilled Pita Bread. I was missing the extra grilled pita bread but didn't realize until I checked the menu this morning that the hummus plate should have came with grilled pita. It is always frustrating when you order take out and you have a missing item. The extra pita was definitely needed. Overall I felt like the food was missing a lot of flavor. It wasn't bad but nothing worth talking about. The salads on the plate were overdressed and soggy, Great location next to the theatre but parking will most likely be limited.

The food is delicious, the service not so much. Came in for lunch on a Monday. Some guy behind the counter eventually sauntered over to me and just glared at me like I was really creating an inconvenience for him. I did notice him working in several to go orders and there was only one other table occupied. I guess the Togo guys tried eating in once too. He took my order and swung the payment terminal around to me. I gave him cash which seemed to really throw him for a loop. Got a table placard and took a seat. When the food came out, it was picture perfect. More of a dinner portion than lunch, there were ample amounts of food. The chicken was really, really good, but the salad was a bit bland. Not sure what was tucked inside the grape leaves, but the rice was good too. I was going to split the difference (food 5, service 3) until I went to the restroom. The place was a mess, as if it hadn't been cleaned since yesterday's lunch hour. That really turned me off. Just no excuse for that.

This was such a rollercoaster experience. From the moment we ordered, the service was just... off, super rude, like we were being a bother. It made us feel super unwelcome. We ordered lamb rib chops (which were actually really good, my husband loved them), plus hummus, falafels, and feta cheese. The falafels were great, the cheese was fine... but the hummus? It was honestly one of the worst I've tried. And then there was the mix-up. They brought us French fries instead of hummus, and when we told the server, he got defensive. We told him that's what we ordered not French fries. He did bring the hummus eventually, but whole vibe just felt so cold and irritated, not what you want when you're trying to enjoy a nice meal. We won't be coming back. The food had some highlights, but the service completely ruined the experience for us. It's a shame, because it could've been so much better.

chicken so flavorful and juicy! pita was perfect to make little wrap with the huge pieces of chicken and dip in the taziki. fresh salad with extra lemon great portion, quick, very nice interior too even though i did pickup. finally found a go to spot for mediterranean. good prices too for the amount of food you get.

I went here with a gluten free friend who picked it for its gluten friendly options. Overall it was pretty good. I'd grab it for a quick lunch or get it to go. The gyro, falafel, and hummus were good as were the fries. The salad surprisingly was not, which was disappointing because it looked so good. The dressing just needs some work to me. This is an order at the counter and find a seat type restaurant. There isn't "ambiance" to note.

It was our first time here, we were a party of four, and we took the last available table for us. It was very warm outside (this was a warm fall day) and the AC was broken - so that it made it a bit uncomfortable, though we were seated next to the door. The way it works is you order at the counter and then they bring your food to you (slightly different from a complete sit-down experience) - but staff were attentive. The food was fresh and tasty and presented well. We had salads, wraps, hummus, pita bread, baba ghonush. I'd like to go back and try the falafel and chicken kebab.

First time here. We were downtown for the theatre and this is just a block from the St. Kate Hotel. Super convenient if you have other plans in the area. The restaurant is relatively new. We made reservations for 6:00pm. When we got there we realized that you order and pay at the counter. Then the food gets brought to you. They did have several table that were reserved, and we got our choice, so we picked one closer to the back of the space. The full menu is online, or displayed behind the counter. There was a short line, but it went quickly. We ordered the special Lamb Chops and the Pita plate. With this setup you might get the impression that it will go quickly, but it doesn't (which is not a bad thing). In the meantime they bring you drinks to the table. As we were waiting for our foods, we noticed all the other orders going out to other tables. They all looked and smelled amazing. When ours came we were equally impressed. The Lamb Chops were as ordered, medium rare. The flavors were good, without being overpowering. The Greek Fries (skin on fries with fetat and a dipping sauce) were so yummy, it was hard to stop eating them all in one sitting. The Pita Plate was warm, flavorful, with large portions. We enjoyed everything, and there was plenty to take home for another day. We did have a little room left for some baklava. They offer two varieties, pistachio and walnut. Would have preferred pistachio but they were out. The walnut was good (not great). After the food came, that was the last we saw of our server. Not sure if they simply don't check back, or they were too busy. We q quick "how's your food, everything okay?", would have been appreciated. Besides, did a really need a refill on the iced tea? Nice spot for excellent Greek classics, served fast casual style.

We've enjoyed "sip and paints" here, New Year's Eve, when they offered brunch with crepes, and frequented when they had their vegetarian lunch buffet. Unfortunately, things have changed. 1. Atmosphere The décor hasn't changed. Still sleek, dimly lit, and romantic. The bathroom water wasn't working, and staff seemed aware of it when we mentioned it. How is that sanitary or up to code? Several of the chairs brought to our table were also broken, with bent legs a clear safety issue. It's typically packed on a Saturday like a dance club but it was nearly empty on a Saturday night which may be a reflection of our experience. 2. Service Our waitress was kind and attentive despite handling a large group, but the busboy was unprofessional. He started clearing plates while people were still eating and even asked my husband to reach across the table to hand over other guests' dishes. It made us feel rushed, even though the place wasn't busy. 3. Food My chicken shawarma was greasy, hard, sour, and unseasoned, almost as if the meat had gone bad. The potato balls were cut open which I've never seen and underwhelming. My husband and son's wings were over fried and tough, the spinach artichoke dip was clumpy and poorly blended, and others said the lamb chops were "okay." Honestly, the best thing I ate that night was the pita bread. 4. Overall Experience This used to be our go to for birthdays, Brady Street drag show viewing, and happy hour, but it's gone downhill. Between the sanitation issues, broken furniture, food quality, and rushed service, it no longer feels like "our spot". SO TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION.... This was hard to write because I have so many great memories here and I wanted the experience to be better. Sadly, I won't be returning.

I have newly moved to the Milwaukee area from Metro Detroit (home to the largest Arab population outside of the Middle East) and therefore not only did I grow up with great food our restaurant options have always been elite. If I seem nitpicky I'm sorry but let's get to it! I got the mixed grill plate, Turkish salad, and a lentil soup. Highlights: the shish tawook was perfect, juicy, not over cooked, the kafta loaded with flavors, the hummus was solid, I loved the bed of rice it was on, and the soup delicious... "so T, what happened to the half star?" This is where I might be overly critical... the chopped veggie salad was in dire need of salt, or consider dressing it with the jalapeño mix that was on the hummus. The Turkish salad put me in quite a conundrum... was it delicious? Oh hell ya, was it spicy? Yes (inject it my veins), so what's the issue? My issue here was just that it wasn't a salad. It was an excellent salsa, but I didn't have chips to eat it with and this isn't a "salad" you can eat by itself. If they had fried the Arabic bread and seasoned it like the fattoush chips and gave me a bag of it with the Turkish salad that might be the greatest combo known to Milwaukee. Finally, the only true criticism of this place, the beef kabobs... flavor was amazing, it was tender too but it was severely overcooked. I don't blame the restaurant because as an Lebanese person I grew up with way too many over cooked bbqs and aunts and uncles thinking red meat was blood despite eating kibbee nayee (beef tartar-Lebanese style) but if that had two minutes less on the grill it might have the holy grail of mixed grill plates. All of this to say I was very impressed, Milwaukee has some good spots and I wasn't sure what to expect when I moved here but this place does it for me, will probably make it a rotational spot

If you're looking for a fine dining experience I would recommend this place. Entering a large neatly appointed dining room filled with Serbian art and family photos, we were seated at a large table to accommodate our party of eight. Tables were linen covered and folded linen napkins rested on an appetizer/bread plate, signaling we were going to experience a meal served with pride. Service was quick and good but we were the only party in the restaurant that evening. We ordered Serbian tomato salad, the tomatoes were fresh and meaty with peppers, onion and feta cheese. We all enjoyed it. As an appetizer we chose Chevapchichi, grilled sausages that were juicy and flavorful and kept us busy until our meals arrived. A bread basket was provided with fresh warmed bread and was refilled throughout our meal. Most at the table ordered burek, either the meat and cheese or the spinach and cheese variety. These were large, no one could finish their entire dish, but everyone loved them. I chose the goulash, a favorite dish my grandmother used to make. While it lacked the paprika flavoring that I enjoyed at Three Brothers, it was an excellent dish and the meat was fork tender, melting in your mouth. It was served with a scoop of mashed potatoes, two potato dumplings with gravy. Also included was a nice serving of green beans. We sampled several desserts, Serbian cookies, cherry strudel, strawberry palachinke and chestnut Schaum. All were excellent. Several in our party had coffee and their cups were refreshed several times. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed Old Town. Talking with the owner we learned a bit about the history of the family's time in Milwaukee and their restaurants. Milwaukee has lost a lot of good European restaurants over the years, hopefully Old Town continues to provide the city with good meals for years to come. The location is on the city's south side just off the freeway and a stone's throw from St. Josaphat's basilica, a parking lot is just behind the building housing the restaurant. Can't wait to come back for another meal.

The first issue was that the order arrived without…read moreany utensils, which was frustrating since people ordering to hotels often don't have access to cutlery. As for the food, it was a mixed experience. I ordered the falafel along with a chicken and beef shawarma plate. The falafel was easily the highlight of the meal--crispy, flavorful, and the one item I would consider ordering again. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal was fairly average. The shawarma was decent but nothing particularly memorable, and the sauces lacked the bold flavors I was expecting. The hummus was also underwhelming and could have benefited from a little more seasoning and presentation. Overall, the food wasn't terrible, but it didn't stand out either. The falafel was very good, but the rest of the meal felt fairly ordinary compared to other Middle Eastern restaurants I've tried. Based on this experience, I'd rate it somewhere around 2.5-3 stars. It's okay if you're nearby, but there are probably stronger options if you're specifically looking for outstanding shawarma or hummus.

So, of course, we had to try a bunch of different items. All the dips, the topped hummus, baba ghanoush, and skillet tomatoes (forgot the name) were amazing! The hummus alone was so silky and smooth. The bread is super soft and fluffy; we had the flatbread with different toppings. Very good! My favorite was the za'atar one. We had something I've never had before called Stromboli (stuffed roll) with Akkawi white cheese, and it was my favorite. So, so good! And we can't forget the falafel, with the hummus and the fluffy bread, just goes together perfectly. Staff were all super informative and friendly. They have the cutest Budgerigar birds, a blue and a green one, so cute!

The service was wonderful and the staff made the experience even better. Perfect for breakfast or lunch, everything is made fresh on the spot and you can really taste the difference. We ordered the spinach pie, potato pie, Akkawi cheese pie, hotdog pastry, and the egg manqousha. Every single item was delicious. We also had two Lotus cheesecakes for dessert and they were amazing. If you want authentic manaqeesh and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!
