We were greeted politely and seated in our own private room for 8. We had a staff of 2 main servers and 2 assistant servers. We ordered drinks and servers suggested we order kids plates ahead of time while we enjoyed drinks, great suggestion. We ordered , not sure why but 3 medium steaks all were served rare. We were not asked to check our steaks when they were served, it seems chefs don't check in the kitchen any longer. Steaks were corrected, and the sides were perfect, mushrooms were the best I have tasted in quite some time. Servers returned with ice cream served to kids and after dinner drinks were spot on. Food was first class quality and tasty I highly recommend to peppercorn sauce was very well done. This would have been five star if steaks were correct when served. We will be back. read more

Our time at Meehan's yesterday was certainly an enjoyable and rewarding experience. As we arrived, the hostess, Flowers, generously gave of herself to insure we were comfortable and transferred us to our "Culinary Guide" for the evening, Amber. Amber gained our trust and respect with her knowledge of what the kitchen was prepared to dazzle us with. As we were perusing the wine list, the manager Scott personally greeted us and gave some background on the restaurant. Our food and wine choices were made, and we relaxed, happy with anticipation. Then, along came Noni. He and his team of server assistants provided excellent attention to our table. Very Nice place - maybe the nicest in Mansfield / Arlington area. Great food, I prefer the Lunch menu and I've had Dinner service and Lunch menu at the bar many times. Might have the Best Burger anywhere - most def the best Lobster Roll I've ever had and I have had dozens in Maine - where I thought I'd had the best till this one. Its a bit pricey but well worth it and the service is very good as well as the drink options. Highly Recommend. But maybe don't go. My partner and I got the Brussels sprouts to share, and they were fantastic, the best I have ever had. The service was equally good, and our waitress, Amber, was very personable, friendly, and attentive and never left us waiting. First time there last night and it was amazing! We skipped the app so we would have room for dessert. My husband had the NY Strip and I had chicken. Both were delicious. Brussel sprouts and Mac and cheese were fantastic! For dessert we had creme brûlée and the bread pudding. Creme brûlée was your typical dessert but the bread pudding was so good! 7/23/2024 was our third visit. This place is comparable to any upscale restaurant anywhere. Each time we have enjoyed outstanding filets, baked potatoes (huge) and Caesar salad ( we share one). The only recommendation for improvement is the type of bread served. It is hard and dry and the butter is unspreadable. A restaurant of this caliber should serve more palatable bread. If I could give a 10-star rating to every element of this restaurant I would. My kids took me to this amazing restaurant for my birthday, I had never been here before and it was the most magical evening I have ever had. The food was absolutely just unbelievable. I have the petite fillet and a baked potato and I also had a lump crab meat cocktail. I shared a shrimp cocktail with one of my daughters and my other daughter had a petite filet and a huge fully loaded baked potato as well and we all shared some Parmesan brussel sprouts which were to die for. My son-in-law had a 22 oz prime bone in ribeye which was unbelievable, he also got the Fries! And my other daughter had the warm spinach salad with the bacon vinaigrette (which I have to go back to try very soon). Then they got the creme brulee for dessert and the restaurant knew it was my birthday, So they surprisingly and unexpectedly Gave me a piece of the decadent and delicious and the most amazing tasting decadent white chocolate raspberry cheesecake I have ever had in my life. It even had fresh raspberries and a raspberry sauce on the side. Just a touch just enough to add that extra extra above and beyond. Decadence. This was truly a 10 star night. I will never forget it. Brea was our server, and she was just the most pleasant personality. So sweet and just amazing. The other serving staff also helped clear the table multiple times and they all helped bring out all of the entrees at the same time so it would all be timed perfectly. Literally there was not one thing about this visit that was less than 5 star. Everything was absolutely 100% perfect and we will definitely definitely be back. I wish I could go back next week! Oh I have to add one more thing. So when I cook a steak at home I have to put steak sauce and Worcestershire sauce and garlic and of course salt and pepper and then sometime s steak sauce. This steak, well actually all of our steaks were so not only tender but the flavor was unbelievable. I have no idea what was put on the steak but it was absolutely the best best best best I have ever had in my life and I'm over 50 and I've been to alot of steak houses and this was absolutely the best. It did not need any seasoning whatsoever. Nothing at all. However the Chef prepared the steaks, bravo bravo!!!! Pure excellence. An unbelievable steak house which just recently opened in Mansfield. This place reminded me of the old school steak houses that were on the Dallas North Tollway for many years. Excellent menu, great service, reasonable pricing on cocktails and wine. We shared the seafood tower and it was the perfect amount for the four of us, then on to steaks, and in lieu of a large meal I ordered the Meatball appetizer and the Caesar salad. We had a pleasant celebratory lunch at Meehan's along with our little one. Meehan's does have a kids menu, however our little is too small! We selected lunch time for the lower crowds and enjoyed the pleasant, calm atmosphere. Our server, Lawrence, made fantastic recommendations. I started with a drink, the black cherry lemon drop martini, which I was surprised by how good it was. If you like sweet drinks like me, I'd definitely recommend it! We loved the meatball appetizer and enjoyed the Coulette steak. It's a different cut from the norm and I thought it was great as well as unique. The mashed potatoes and asparagus sides felt more on the average side in comparison but were both good. We finished with the berries and cream. The berries were fresh and the cream was almost like an ice cream flavor. We had such a good meal. We were a group of 4 adults and two children. I wish I had taken pix of everything bc it was all so good! We had two appetizers of calamari and oyster. I have to say I am very glad we decided to try this restaurant out during their grand opening week. Service was amazing. The owner, floor manager, servers, and runners etc were very friendly. I didn't take a picture of all our party's dishes but I captured some. The Grande tower was huge and definitely worth trying for the variety of seafood we got on it. The steak was great. All the sides were tasty too. We had a fairly larger party size and got to eat in a private room. Formal, serious, special or just looking for the best steak and atmosphere makes this a great choice. Try the special calamari, soups, even seafood selections, or a burger. Steaks were all seared to just the right char, while being just on point for the doneness selected, order your prime. Glasses were never left low and their bar and wine selections are good. Lunch menu is a bit abbreviated, but can order most items that don't have special preparation from the dinner menu ahead of dinner time. *(For those that desire, the cigar bar is available but does not carry over any aroma to the dining room by air flow, carried on clothing, and has a separate entry. Excellent!). Not one of these cookie cutter steak shacks duplicating around. Location is a premium main corner of historic Mansfield, sharing parking with a couple other popular spots, so parking spreads into the back field, but is organized. My husband and I went here for dinner for our 10 year anniversary on a Tuesday night. We self parked but there is complimentary valet. We were greeted and seated a couple minutes after our reservation time. It was a little chilly so good thing brought a sweater but that didn't take away from the beginning to our lovely dinner. Our waiter was Justin and he was fantastic. He provide us with wine of our liking. I told him sweet for me and he brought out a white moscato and my husband not a wine guy tried a red wine. It was a little bitter but Justin brought him a white to try it was better. We started off with chicken fried steak bites. They were melt in your mouth. My husband's filet was cooked medium to perfection with wonderful char and it cut so beautifully he was in complete aww. He said that was the best steak he's ever had. I ordered the ribeye cooked medium and it was lean and delicious. Our sides were mashed potatoes and the Mac and cheese. We loved the flavorful mashed potatoes and the smoothed texture but not so much for Gouda Mac and cheese. Desert Justin brought out breading pudding for me topped with a salted Carmel ice cream and carrot cake for my husband. Meehans has been added to our date night list. read more
