As a DM for D&D and (thanks to this store) newly a Warhammer player, I can speak to the fact that this store's selection for both games surpasses in quality, quantity, and presentation most other game stores in the area. Their restocks are frequent(seemingly weekly) and always introduce new product, which makes the trip there a no brainer if you live in the area and worth the time if you live farther. The owner is friendly, knowledgeable about his stuff, and truly embodies the vibe of a FLGS -- top notch customer service, a welcoming environment, giving advice where needed and genuinely caring about the quality of your experience with whatever hobby you choose without being pushy. The selection is amazing, and I always look forward to coming here purely because of the amount of quality product. Miniatures of all scale and need are neatly stocked on racks that appeal well to the eye, and they're not afraid to try new product styles. I've always been intrigued about D&D prepainted booster boxes online, but typically the ones I find at other stores are older or more beat up, but here, they're the newest, fresh-off-the-line boxes, and I just had to get some. The owner is very receptive to requests, and at checkout, has asked numerous times what I'd like to see or what I'd want to have stocked myself, which is amazing and has definitely as a whole fostered a loyal relationship with me and this store. The pre-order system is also very nice, offering discounts from MSRP with good communication and a fantastic one-man customer service model that accommodates requests very well and corresponds effectively with consumers. I am tremendously glad to have found a gem of a store so close to home and am long overdue for this review, and hope that this game store continues to keep their friendly vibe and expand to bigger and better things. The fellow at the counter was SO PATIENT as I asked him to dig through all their bulk. I came with an ordered list to make his search as easy as possible, but the cards are spread out across 10 different expansions, so he did have to do quite a bit of digging. At no point did he seem frustrated, even though there were other customers waiting to be helped. We ended up striking 8 cards off our list, which was more than I expected! I was so surprised when it was only $9 for the lot - we would've had to pay about three times as much if we'd purchased them through ebay.

The owner, Kevin, ripped us off…read more I came in with a list of about 60 cards for a budget deck. Some cards were clearly crossed out because I already owned them and communicated the cards crossed out were already owned and they confirmed it was fine. We agreed on a $65 max budget if it went over that, he wouldn't pull more cards. He handed me a sleeve full of cards without going over what was included, what was missing, or confirming anything from the list. When I asked if he was able to get everything, he said my list was "too big." That's fine but what's not fine is what happened next. When I reviewed the cards, a majority them were not pulled and about one third of the cards that were pulled were cards that were crossed out on my original list cards I already had and made clear I didn't need. Instead of properly correcting the mistake and refunding the difference, he argued and only gave us $10 back. And argued they were not crossed off the original list, when I have screenshots I'll share later to where they clearly were. For a budget deck, the total should never have been close to that amount in the first place especially considering the wrong cards were included. It felt careless at best and predatory at worst, especially toward newer players who may not double check everything on the spot. I hate to mention attitude as well but he came off as not at all welcoming. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone. Didn't even get close to the full deck I was hoping to leave with.

Nothing like Game Stop actually lol My husband is familiar with Warhammar. This is a totally new concept to me though! Warhammar is a hobby that involves creating models to build your army. At least, that is my takeaway from talking to the employee. He was explaining to us how it works. So, you buy the miniature pieces and then you can pain them however you want. Then you add the miniatures together to create your army. Your friends do the same process, and then you "battle" their army. It is pretty cool. I can see how this could get very expensive though lol My husband has an addictive personality, so he is not allowed to get into this hobby LOL Would be too expensive. The pieces are really cool though. They sell different sets, and some from popular movies like Lord of the Rings! Definitely check this out if you are into creating models.

But that became very obvious that it was because she was flirtatious with the clients. When I proceeded to then ask a question if they had TCG Cards (Pokemon or One Piece). She did answer that they had sold out, but then proceeded to just act like I didn't exist. Not sure, why I would need to have to be flirty just to buy an item they have behind the register. I genuinely just wanted to look at the One Piece Deck set that was behind the worker with the Comb Over. Who also proceeded to act like I didn't exist.
