Indoor dining space is small, but the food is so worth it - order a bit of everything, take it home, and try something new is my advice. I'm Puerto Rican [grew up and lived there my whole life until young adulthood], so I can tell you this food is AUTHENTIC. Everything else we ordered was mostly fritters for a get-together, and EVERY single empanada was made-to-order and crunchy. We tried the crab/shrimp, beef, cubana. They were all TOP. Juiiiicy, with plenty fillings and a good size. Homemade taste was obvi. So tasty, every single one. We both wish our tripleta sandwiches had more noticeable "mayo-ketchup" pink sauce, though, to better balance the meats. But! Those meats were JUICY perfection in thay beautifully-caramelized crunchy-yet-soft fresh bread -- great size, too. My only disappointments were the yuca con mojo and sancocho soup. The yuca was oily & didn't have that traditional garlicky flavor and texture I'm used too. Felt too soggy and somewhat bland. The sancocho had good flavor, but way too thin -- not the traditionally hearty, root-vegetable-filled goodness I know and love. It was more of a gandules/bean soup w/ beef pieces than anything. I had ordered it thinking if my fiber intake and as a great veggie side dish, so I was a little sad. Still, all the food was great tasting, fresh, and just like a family member cooked it all for us. Best of all, customer service is *STAR* quality. So please, come and support this GREAT local business! We're def coming back. PS. They had a gorgeous coquí [local little toad] and garita 3-D-printed art, along other trinkets on display, which you can purchase and take home!

I ordered two eggs sunny side up, sausage, bacon, and breakfast potatoes ($14.45). Everything was just right. The sunny side up eggs were glistening and perfectly fried, the bacon was easily 10 inches long and had no grease, the breakfast potatoes were brown and crunchy just the way I like them, and the sausage was spicy and tasty. In-N-Out in 25 minutes with time to go to the clean nuetral gender restroom as well. The small venue only has about four or five 2 person tables, most of their businesses is to go. But don't let that stop you! This is a great place to break your fast! Discount if paying cash. Upside App users get cash back.

What a lovely brunch spot! Stepping into Sugar Baby Cafe was a unique experience for Seminole, FL…read more It honestly gave me that trendy coffee shop vibe you would expect to find in St. Pete, super aesthetic and very picture worthy! The vibe was very cozy, clean, and hip, mixing modern design with rattan accents and a dash of greenery. It felt clean, cute, and really thoughtfully put together! Service was great. The staff was friendly, patient, and actually took time to explain popular items without rushing me at all. Loved that!! Parking is a bit limited. It is a small lot with a simple pull-in and back-out setup right onto the road, so it can feel tight. That said, I went around 11am and it worked out just fine with no hassle. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon (plus $2 extra) and homemade lemon aioli on a toasted brioche bun and wow... the presentation was next level. I definitely took way too many photos before even touching it, no regrets! It tasted as good as it looks. Taste-wise, it was sweet, fresh, and super creamy with really nice texture. I also ordered the matcha latte, which was a bit disappointing. The ratio leaned heavily toward milk, making it very milky and lighter in matcha flavor than I expected. Wait time was quick, and pricing felt fair for the quality and experience. Overall, this is such a fun spot for brunch lovers, cute café dates, or anyone just wanting a sweet treat moment. I would 100% come back again!!

Service was fast even with a packed house on a Saturday morning. Parking isn't ideal but I found a spot, no problem. Will be back to try other flavors !!

They had a fresh catch of grouper that day, so we decided to try the grouper nuggets. They're market price, but absolutely worth it. Even our friend preferred them over his fried fish. The batter was light, crispy, and delicious. Our kids ordered the bacon cheese fries and loved them. Just a heads-up: they use a nacho cheese sauce rather than shredded cheese, which some people may prefer to know ahead of time. Our friend from Massachusetts ordered the lobster sub (also market price) and said it was worth every penny. My husband and I split the grouper nuggets and the Philly cheesesteak. The bread is brought in from up north, and our server's recommendation did not disappoint. The sandwich was rich, flavorful, and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the onion rings. They use a beer batter, which wasn't our favorite, but that's more of a personal preference than a criticism. Overall, we'd definitely return if we're in the area again. The only downside was parking--$29.99 for two hours is pretty brutal. Thankfully, the food and atmosphere helped make up for it.

So when I found myself six months later back in Johns Pass looking at the same stupid pirate ship, I thought, I bet Lauren and Kent recommend a good place within walking distance since they know the area. They were completely worthless for any kind of recommendation. I asked them about this place and they had never been or even knew its name. All they could tell me about with some bar to go visit around the corner. Clearly they have their priorities. Had the fried clams and some shrimp. They were good. It's pretty hard to screw up fried stuff.... I think I should've ordered one of the sandwiches, they looked much better. Service was great. Kept my drink refilled and we were very attentive.

Customer service was on point, friendly and fun. Shop vibe was sassy, cute and fun. As a bonus, the music was great too. I love alternative and they played old and new. As for the coffee, follow my reviews and you'll hear my comparison everything to my local shop in San Diego that I love and this might be the closest I've ever come to it. Their oatmilk is great, they had agave and they shook up my drink upon request which is the not-so-secret secret to making iced lattes so much better. This would be my local for sure. The parking can be tricky. We came with plenty of spots and with no spots. It is a touristy area so be prepared for that. We came with hardly anyone there and with a line out the door but that doesn't bother me, it tells me that it's good. Once I got inside the line was smooth and my order came up quick. This is a great coffee shop with great people.
