Pleasant Surprise finding Welton! And when I say surprise, I mean surprise - found it on Yelp but…read moreyou're not going to see it from the road. The restaurant is located behind the German club on 66th Street, a second business in the German club parking lot! Apparently, the family that has his place is from Maine and they got a lot of success brewing beer. That's success led them to start the restaurant serving seafood from a family business in Maine. We started off with a bowl of New England clam chowder and a dozen oysters. To what are whistles we got a glass of their tap Chardonnay and a beer. My wife's Chardonnay was ridiculously good! But nothing could beat those oysters - sweet with a little bit of brine, and very fresh. For dinner we got a lobster roll - they come hot or cold, with the hot coming with melted butter. We also got the fried haddock roll.... Wow! Both were fantastic! I know we overdid it with dinner.... We even got an order of the whole belly clams. I didn't think anyone in Florida served those down here! Absolutely ridiculous . In short, we had fantastic dinner and terrific beverages. I really recommend you at least try to find the place - we almost didn't go in because of its awkward location and the fact that no cars were outside. We saw the place was open and decided to have a appetizer because the Yelp review was so strong, and I'm glad we did! I told the two people there they should park their cars nearby so patrons would see them..... Anyway, I'm going back again, but this time I'm bringing friends!

I'm so happy a spot like this exists near me…read more Food was delicious. We got a dozen oysters and the Connecticut lobster roll. I was sad they didnt have chowder so next time I'll try that and the maine lobster roll. Oysters are from Maine and they were spot on. They do an oyster special on Thursdays and Ill be back for that! Great selection of beers - they brew in house and have some other local ones. They also do flights which is great. Caylen was our server and he was great and knowledgeable. There's also ton of parking in the back. If you like good beers and maine style seafood this spot is for you!

Stopped in for an early lunch with my wife. Small place, seemed like they are a little…read moredisorganized. Took several minutes for a server to come to the table. Placed our order and received, sadly, some less than high quality dishes. Our turkey and rice soup was not much more than half of the bowl; it was a weak broth but did have a good amount of turkey and rice. An order of clam strips was fried to a point of destruction. Dark in color, very chewy, a real disappointment. My wife had a turkey sandwich that was fine, except she questioned the choice of bread since no option was given to her. My chef salad was plated nicely and actually had too much ham and turkey! The amount of lettuce was quite small. The blue cheese dressing looked like a blob of rice pudding. It had a mild blue cheese flavor but was far from the best. Overall this was a lackluster effort from the folks at Sunrise Restaurant. We will return again to see if our visit was a one time miss.

We told our server this was our first time here, we'd like to look over menu, she literally came back 10 second later asking for the 3rd time, are ready to order yet ?!? My husbands potatoes were freezer Burt tasting and toast was stale! DONT WASTE UR TIME OR MONEY COMING HERE! If only there was a 1/2 a star rating, I would give them a half star for food and zero stars for service and price!

It's been a few times that we've eaten at La Mordida, a Clearwater- based Peruvian-Colombian…read morerestaurant ( US 19 & 66th street ) . We have not been disappointed ever. The ample space is welcoming and decorated with an Andean - Latino ambience paired with soft piped- music . There is a restaurant section from which you can see the kitchen to the side. A complete bar is strategically placed behind a slightly- raised stage where live music can be enjoyed while trying any of the interesting cocktails , beers Or spirits ! On the other side one can find the bakery- souvenir shop where they sell many Colombian & Peruvian cakes, pastries and candies - yes it's THAT big Now down to the main event: food portions are generous ( we always end up bringing home some boxes ) and everything I have tried so far is so delicious , from the array of tropical juices , appetizers to share ( or not !) , main entrees , sides and desserts . There is something for everyone or you can plan to split! I enjoy the sides of maduros and the tostones. Food and service are perfect - it's no wonder La Mordida is here to stay !! Bravo !!.

We walked in and were told to sit wherever we wanted, we chose the window seats. Hahahaha! I ordered the Locals Favorite and my guest ordered the Salmons Benedict we shared the Chicken and waffles. The service was great, our server was great too! We asked about real maple syrup and she actually tracked down a bottle, I couldn't believe it! ( Pictured) The Local Favorite was excellent! The crab cake was perfectly seasoned, the English muffin was toasted perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was also perfect. The cheesy grits were good as well! I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. My guest also loved her meal, ( Salmon Benedict) the salmon was perfectly done without being dry, the eggs were a little beyond poached but that's okay. The home fried potatoes were golden brown and an excellent addition to the meal. The ambiance is super chill which is surprising considering how good the food is. The chicken and waffles were exceptional as well. The four chicken strips with tender, juicy and well seasoned placed on top of the golden brown waffle which was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The butter and maple syrup was butter made this waffle an 8/10.
