In certain cities there is literally an entire neighborhood of great restaurants, St Pete is one of those places. We walked in and were told to sit wherever we wanted, we chose the window seats. Hahahaha! I ordered the Locals Favorite and my guest ordered the Salmons Benedict we shared the Chicken and waffles. The service was great, our server was great too! We asked about real maple syrup and she actually tracked down a bottle, I couldn't believe it! ( Pictured) The Local Favorite was excellent! The crab cake was perfectly seasoned, the English muffin was toasted perfectly and the hollandaise sauce was also perfect. The cheesy grits were good as well! I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. My guest also loved her meal, ( Salmon Benedict) the salmon was perfectly done without being dry, the eggs were a little beyond poached but that's okay. The home fried potatoes were golden brown and an excellent addition to the meal. The ambiance is super chill which is surprising considering how good the food is. The chicken and waffles were exceptional as well. The four chicken strips with tender, juicy and well seasoned placed on top of the golden brown waffle which was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The butter and maple syrup was butter made this waffle an 8/10. read more

First time here, and it was just ok. It's located in a small strip mall that's under construction. It's a small little cafe, but extremely noisy. I had the hibiscus tea, and it was very bitter. The broccoli cheese soup was VERY thick and a bit flavorless. The fish n chips came out hot, but needed to be fried longer. Overall a so so experience, was expecting better for a 4.8 rating. read more

Quite a few five star reviews, we can't comment on service, we had our pet so we took it to go. The food was good, I would say safe bet, but not WOW good. So travel time was not an issue we ate right in the lot. Just a safe bet, personally I would not travel out of the way for it, if you're in the neighborhood it won't disappoint but nothing exceptional. read more

We lovvvvved the Lemon Leaf Cafe! We've passed this place enough but swung by for lunch. My son was happy with his selection of Waffles, Eggs and Bacon but what won it for me was Thierry Burger. It was a handmade Patty! Two of them to boot!! Fresh Made Patties are rare let alone for a diner. Well done y'all! The service and great and friendly as well. There enough strip mall parking for you. This is a cute cafe open breakfast lunch dinner in a strip mall where you would not expect much from the outside. As people have said, the strip is not the best looking. They have a couple of outdoor tables but inside is better, I think. It's what's inside that counts. The food inside is delicious. Pleasant decor inside this diner with nice upgraded food at a very reasonable price. I had a BLT, no skimping on bacon. The homemade mozzarella sticks looked good, served at dinner. I'll be back. I found this spot while needing a lunch place in between two soccer games. The menu sounded fresh and had a variety of healthy sounding meals that even my health concious father could enjoy so we gave it a chance. It was a fantastic decison, except this is NOT a place to go if you are in a rush. I guess because the food is cooked to order and it was packed, it took at least 40 minutes for us to get our food. The place is so cute-small and cozy and I can see how if you come often you can definitely create friendships with the staff. It seems to be family run and owned. I had the salmon eggs benedict and it was FANTASTIC. Everyone at the table loved their food except for my son (which sucked because it was kind of a celebration for him). He ordered the avocado toast plate and they were the driest, most boring toast he'd ever ordered. It literally was sliced avocado on bread-no seasoning, no sauce, no cheese-nothing. He felt like the hard boiled eggs that came with his meal was overcooked and he didn't eat his food. However the three other people at the table loved their meal. My father was visiting from out of state and he's a very picky eater so the fact that he ate every bit of his omelet is an accomplishment. I was shocked that that the total bill for 4 meals was less than $100 for such well cooked and filling food as I can't find that near me anymore. I do plan on coming back to this cafe-just will not order the avocado toast! read more

Didn't take a pic because I ate all of the food before I could even think to. Really great service, attentive and kind waitresses. Restaurant was packed but still sat us quickly, got drink and food quickly too and hot! Will definitely be coming here again ASAP. I like this place generally and have reviewed previously but my last visit was awful. I went with a friend on my recommendation. We both ordered the veggie burger. It was awful. This was no veggie burger patty, rather it was a blob of quinoa with maybe mashed potatoes, fried and put on bun. Well there is no way to pick that up, it immediately oozes out everywhere. And it is tasteless and gross looking. The fruit that came with it was the best part of the meal. We were both hungry and in a hurry so we did not send it all back . This little restaurant is golden! It's in a strip mall and doesn't look like much, but oh, my gosh, dinner was like eating Sunday dinner at grandma's. We had the lemon chicken, blackened chicken, and Mahi-mahi and everything was made fresh and tasted great. The vegetables were brightly colored and delicious. The mash potatoes were scrumptious. Just had lunch here, party of four, three of us had the corned beef and cabbage dinner it was excellent, trimmed perfectly and fork tender, served with carrots, potatoes and toasted garlic bread, great flavor! we all agreed it was one of the best we've had in this area , they may not be an Irish restaurant but they got it right!! There are 8 tables inside, so it's small. The inside has a sort of tiki-hut vibe. Everything is shiny and clean. It's a family owned spot, and service is charming, friendly and quick. Tried a veggie omelet and crab eggs benedict. The veggie omelet might very well be the best I've had. Eggs fluffy and cooked just right - not too runny, not too dry. A whole array of vegetables is in there, the whole thing gently folded to a perfect half moon. Truly left nothing to be desired - it was delicious. And those home fries! Bite sized nuggets crispy on the outside, seasoned right. MMMMM. Also tried eggs benedict. In this case, instead of Canadian bacon, there were crabcakes. The cakes were nicely fried, crisp on the outside, moist and flaky on the inside. Nice ratio of crab to bread crumbs; very little filler. The poached eggs were also perfectly executed - slightly runny, slightly firm. Hollandaise sauce creamy and a little tangy. Where to start? The fresh, clean, cute decor? Our charming hostess/server, Lisa? Mom & Pop smiling from the back? The amazing food? Yeah, let's start there... Apps were a crab cake and the mozzarella sticks. We received a good-sized, delicate patty that was much more REAL crab (with a C) than cake, served with an amazing remoulade sauce. And the sticks...wow. These aren't your frozen bowling alley mozz sticks. Fresh buffalo mozzarella (yes - you heard it right - FRESH MOZZARELLA) hand coated in a light crumb and fried, served with a great house made marinara sauce. They're so soft and pillowy and different you'll never be able to go back to those tired, tough, frozen things again. I had the fish and chips and again was so impressed. It wasn't the largest portion of fish I've ever been served, but the quality far outweighed any initial concerns about quantity. Tender, flaky fish was again hand breaded and fried to just perfection. Just wow. I didn't ask but I'm also pretty sure the slaw was homemade - creamy, a bit sweet, fresh and cold, with none of that you get with the pre-made stuff. Two apps, two entrees, coffee, soda, and two desserts to go ran us $100 with tip. We would not normally spend this much for a diner meal but we wanted to try a little bit of everything. The food, service, and atmosphere were all terrific. The space is small but clean and freshly redecorated (formerly German Bistro 2 but we didn't even recognize it!). They've only been there a few months and we hope they do well. We will definitely be back! read more

Mashed potatoes were delicious. Crab cakes had too many shell pieces & not enough crab. The veggies were very fresh & cooked to perfection. The ribs were not good at all. Unfortunately this order got lost & delayed awhile so I cant really fault the store. It's possible it would have been better had we received it when fresh.
