I love coming to this location out of all of them because it is always very clean. The parking is shared amongst the other businesses but it is a very busy plaza. My go to is always their green tea with almond pudding as I haven't found anywhere else with that topping. Service is always very quick, attentive and friendly. read more

Huge serving size but not enough toppings, so the flavor was lacking. Mangoberry Shaved Ice with black sugar boba, regular sugar Comes with real mango pieces, strawberry pieces, mango syrup, strawberry syrup, condensed milk, one scoop of vanilla ice cream with plain shaved ice. With the amount of ice, there was not enough flavoring. The middle of the ice mountain was all unflavored ice since the syrups and condensed milk only cover a very thin outer layer of the ice. The boba topping was also very little. The boba itself was warm and sweet from the black sugar, which was delicious and very chewy but not nearly enough. The ice was also a bit rough, not very fine shaved ice. Ordered on the kiosk. Was a bit confusing to use since it jumped to the middle of the toppings selection. Had to scroll back up to see more topping choices available. Waited about 20 minutes which was kind of long. There were a lot of people. The table I sat at was super sticky from all the condensed milk from the previous customers. Not sure how often they clean tables in between customers. Fortunately, they have a water facet near the back with napkins. The back area has shelves to put the dirty bowls and trays. Had a good experience the last time I came, but this time proved otherwise. Not sure I would come back for their shaved ice. read more

The shaved ice is literally ginormous. As I walked to get my order I even heard other people commenting on how big this plate of shaved ice was. It was also super super good. I would recommend this and I would get it again. I did get it with half sugar and I thought the sugar level for half sugar was perfect. There is also plenty of seating and it's pretty clean. I see this being in my regular rotation during the summer. I love meet fresh and I would definitely come back again with friends. My usual at meet fresh is the herbal tea with cream or with milk. read more

Wish we had one of these in Brea, but this is the closest one to me. Some modern take of Taiwanese shave ice dessert. Drinks, waffle mochi desserts, are other options available. I usually get the Tofu soup dessert with some peanuts and taro toppings. It's not as sweet, and not something I can get at typical shave ice places. The silky smooth texture, mixed with the syrup and fillings is some good comfort dessert after a tasty meal. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It's been here forever, and I always thought it was empty, but when we went on a Saturday late afternoon it was packed, and it's actually quite large inside. We got their shaved ice and their waffle egg desserts. Both were actually really good. The shaved ice was very similar to the Korean shaved ice (bing soo). Also, the interior is really nice in that there are plenty of seats to hangout. I'm giving it 1 less star for a few reasons, which aren't huge deals, but made the experience a little less great. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest, and neither was the area where you return your trays. It all honesty, it seemed like the place was run by kids, and there was no real adult supervision. They also had quite a few workers, and although they were busy, this is somewhere they should be cleaning. Also, the prices were a little high in my opinion. We often get bing soo, and their shaved ice is cheaper, and I'm pretty sure you get more. Finally, I wish they took cash. Not everyone wants to pay with credit card for every transaction. These are pretty minor things, and we will probably come back at some point to try their other desserts. read more

After picking up some dim sum from Wonde Harbor, I walked on over to Meet Fresh. They are both located in the same Hacienda Center in Hacienda Heights. I wanted something simple that was hot. Miss You drink (hot) caught my eyes so that's what I got. It's a mix of red bean soup and grass jelly soup. Wow, it was quite a spectacular mix of the two! Smooth, sweet, non-sweet, and refreshing all in one. I loved it! Highly recommend for those who like red bean and grass jelly. Tip... drink is really hot at first so please allow it to cool down a bit before attempting to drink it. I was amazed how spacious this Meet Fresh is. Great seating space. There is a spot where you may grab extra bowls and utentils. A sink to wash your hands is available for use. Used trays should be placed at the appropriate wall section. Staff was welcoming, cordial, and patient. Thank you miss! Overall service was great. Got my drink in a jiffy. Definitely a great place to try some delicious Taiwanese desserts and drinks with family and friends or solo. Good place to chill, too. Thank you Meet Fresh for sharing your love for desserts! So after a pleasant dinner with friends, we needed a place to go to grab some sweet treats. We ended up at Meet Fresh, which was great for the larger set of tables towards the back. We had 10 people in our party so it worked out nicely. Now as for the sweet treats, expect to share the shaved ice, if you get one. They are fairly large, and not the cheapest either. I chose a black sugar boba milk tea and an almond pudding with mochi. Now that was small. Hahaha.... Either way, the flavors was good, but I wish it was more. So enjoy!!! Hahaha read more

If you don't speak their language, communication is difficult--the staff barely spoke English, and we essentially had to point at the menu to place our order. Maybe this place has a loyal local following, but our experience was very disappointing. If you decide to give it a try, I would recommend ordering to-go. You might actually get your food faster. Thought that was the selling point of the theme and the purpose of the grill. Nonone checked if we were okay during dining. Everytime we asked for water refilled, the staff just dropped it off. No hi, no bye. There are tons of other similar restaurants within the same price and food quality and value in this area. Crawfish- okay, with mala seasoning, garlic, and the crawfish was not fresh (dark on the meat), with some overcooked. Shrimp was scrumptious with crispy skin. Fried milk roll- unique and tasty. Skewers: chicken - tender and tasty. Lamb skewers, tendon, beef and wagyy great taste and seasoning. Leeks: tasty but very small portion for $8 Corn cheese: also tasty and small for the price.

I wish I was able to leave a 0 star review. DO NOT EAT HERE, unless you want bad customer service, rude employees treating you like they are better than everyone else, and in general food that is not what you ordered and or is missing items. This place made me create a yelp accont just to share with you all how bad this place is. Giving a special shout out to the server, EMILY. She is the reason why I created this review. About 20 of my friends and I went here on 9/16/23 after dinner. We EACH had orderd multiple stuff per person. My friend had ordered the mango-berry shaved ice (they messed this order up but fixed it right away because they realized they were the ones to mess up), and 3 drinks. They messed up one drink, and so my friend had her 9 year old daughter go and ask if they can fix it, Emily had rudely declined and gave a dumb excuse. My friend then went up to ask for a remake/switch of the drink, and was told rudely that they were not able to because the drink had taken a sip out of it. How are we supposed to know if a drink is wrong if we don't take a sip out of it? My friend asked if they were able to give a refund then, and had gotten told no because the drink was already dranken. The drink was 98.9 percent still full. Emily had rudely and angerly told my friend no, which made her angry and take the drink and chug it to the ground. Emily then had walked over to the rest of our friends (the 19 other people who each ordered multiple stuff) and yelled at all of us to get out. We all asked why we were getting kicked out, and Emily had then continued to try to scream and kick us out, but none of us budged to leave because we were not in the wrong. Then as we had left later on, Emily had given us dirty stares. WORSE place in Hacienda Heights. Do not come here! EMILY ruined my time with my friends. Will NOT be coming back here. My family and I have been loyal patrons of Meet Fresh for many years, ever since this location first opened its doors. However, it's disheartening to witness the decline in service and cleanliness over time. As many other reviewers have pointed out, the sink area consistently appears messy, with overflowing trash and debris scattered around the counter and adjacent floors. Both napkin holders by the sink are consistently empty. This isn't an occasional issue; we've observed these conditions during all of our recent visits. Furthermore, the tables often feel sticky, and the restrooms are disgusting. It's worth noting that this wasn't always the case. There was a time when this place was far better maintained. Adding insult to injury, our recent experience is likely the last straw. On a busy weekend night, with at least a dozen customers still in the restaurant (some had just gotten their order merely minutes ago), they abruptly turned off the lights at exactly 10pm. While everyone was puzzled by this sudden action, an employee strode past and shouted, "IT'S10!! WE ARE CLOSED!!" in an unfriendly tone. While we understand that staff members wish to conclude their shifts on time, there could have been a more courteous approach. A simple, "Is there anything we can assist you with? Our closing time is 10 pm," would have conveyed the message respectfully. Instead, the chosen method felt passive-aggressive and disrespectful towards customers. Last weekend, I went to Meet Fresh in Rowland Heights, and it was a really good experience. I ordered their signature taro shaved ice. Replying back to "Angela Y", your response is dumb. If you really cared about your customers you wouldn't shout at them and scare the others. No one else cares until you started screaming and scaring my kids. It wasn't that hard to just remake a drink if apparently the customer is always right rule. I am not even the customer but this infuriates me because your responses are bull. You said your staff did the best they could except you could see in your "CCTV" or whatever you use to watch, that they were mocking the customer and laughing. And you can see from other reviews that they complained about the customer service. Maybe train them to be nicer to people instead of laughing and thinking it looks professional to act the way they did. I am so sorry for the customer who had to deal with this. Unfortunately, it took 40 minutes to receive all of our items. The place was not crowded, and it was clear that the staff was not busy, yet there was a significant delay in preparing our order. When I approached the counter to inquire about the status of our order, they made it right away. However, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the 40-minute wait. The staff behind the counter seemed indifferent, more focused on horsing around in the back than on providing good service. Probably the most authentic Taiwanese dessert you can find in LA. The herbal tea has just the right amount of sweetness which is very rare for tea shops like this. I rec if they have ice blended version for the red bean or taro instead of hot soup. The first time I got something with imitation crab and it was so flavorful! Egg White Mushroom Ttruffle (savory crepe) ($10 pre tax) + $1.50 to add avocado Everything was very fresh and made to order. There is a bit of tangy/vinegar taste from the sauce they added which worked well with the rest of the flavors. Spinach was nice and fresh, can taste the natural flavors of the mushrooms. The egg whites were cooked/pan fried with beautifully crispy edges. Inside is not bad. There are some tables and seats and some cute decorations. If you're in a hurry, don't order here, especially if it's a savory crepe. Two orders after me with sweet crepes were ready before mine was ready...I waited 20 minutes. Only two staff members were there to prepare food and drinks. There are two kiosks for placing orders. They now have $4.99 mini crepes from 12-5pm daily, but they only had a few to choose from, none of which are savory crepes. Lots of parking spaces in the plaza. Love the food (5 stars), but just minus one star for the wait.

Shout out to when this used to be a Stinky Pot on Stoner Creek Road lol. We ordered via Hungry Panda and got their popcorn chicken (came with some fried and seasoned bits of basil and garlic) and their fried tofu (came with some small bit of veggies and dipping sauce). There's plenty of tables and seating inside and there were other customers or workers on their break I'm not too sure. You can tell that the place is a bit aged, but it's charming in that way. Very casual ambiance and I can see it as a place for people to get food and hang out. Though there were people smoking super close to the entrance. Our order of food was not big at all portion-wise and it definitely was intended to be more of a snack than anything. Popcorn chicken was overly salty. Fried tofu was just okay. A bit dry, but that's what the dipping sauce was for. Crazy thing was that even with the Hungry Panda discount, this was almost $20. You can get way more at that price at other places or even an entire meal, rather than 2 snack sized fried foods that barely tide you over.
