Purchased a bed set a few years ago, we love it. We went in over the weekend since last time was a good experience and the difference is night and day. The associate that was "helping" us was just following us the whole time, even after telling her we were just looking and would find her if we needed help. Any time my husband and I spoke amongst each other just to comment on something she would instantly start to tell us about the sales they are having (clearly posted) and looked a bit ticked off when we wouldn't commit to anything. We found a spot easily. Upon entering we were greeted by a friendly salesman that let us know if we had any questions to let him know. Beyond the official greeting we didn't really see the salesman. I randomly walked in here about a week ago or so and met the amazing Christine (Chris) Keeler! She was SO patient with me, listened and understood everything I was looking for, and knew the perfect pieces to show me. We spent over a week trying to find the perfect sectional that fit all my needs, while still being in budget, and fitting my layout. Chris found me 3 perfect options and I had an extremely tough time choosing. She is extremely knowledgeable with everything in the showroom and very responsive with all of the (millions) of questions I had to pester her with My entire experience from start to finish was nothing short of amazing. I'd give zero stars if I could. We took a chance on this furniture shop in Southpark Meadows when looking for a couch for our new home. The purchase process was fine but there was a lot of confusion surrounding the delivery date because we were not moving in. They eventually got that part worked. The real problem started at delivery. We purchased a $5000 custom couch which arrived broken. The broken part was not pointed out to me but I soon discovered when sitting on it (the corner piece had a totally broken board and torn fabric). In addition to the couch being broken they made scratches and grooves in the door of our brand new home by forcing it through. I have called many many times like probably 20 trying to get a resolution. I finally after a month of calling got them to agree to repair it but they were going to pick up part of my couch and take it back to their warehouse putting me out of my couch for their error. They should have just sent me a replacement piece! When they finally picked it up they told me it would be a couple days. It took over a month. I called probably 6 times requesting an update to which I'm told they will check and call me back but no one ever called back. No one has addressed how they will compensate us for our damaged door. We didn't have part of our couch for our housewarming party. Finally it was returned and as pictured the repair was poorly done. This was a custom couch. I was again bounced around, told they were contacting the manufacturer and nothing. Finally, I wrote with a proposition of a refund of 20% of the cost and the delivery charge (completely reasonable per industry standards for a damaged item) to which they told me the repair was complete and they were closing my claim. I was later told the couch was returned to me in good condition. I'm writing this review to warn you and in hopes someone at the company will see this and make things right. I'm already working with the BBB but they still are not willing to correct. Next stop small claims court I guess. read more

We ordered a chair and couch that reclined and when it was delivered, we realized it would not fit, plus it did not recline on one side. The manual recline was broken, and on the chair, it was almost impossible to close it up again. We contacted this store and they promised to allow us to exchange the furniture for a slightly smaller set and one that had automatic reclining feature for another charge. They missed their deliver date of the first week of April, then the second week, and the third. We have continually contacted them, even offering a restocking fee of 40% and an extra delivery fee. No delivery again. 2 more weeks. They have lied for 8 weeks and taken advantaged of our goodwill. My product arrived damaged. They had a technician come to fix the issue and according to him he could not fix the chair and blamed it on the floor being uneven and told me wear and tear would fix it. BUYERS BEWARE- I bought a sectional and ottoman from this company last year and they also recommended a cleaning / insurance add on incase my dogs or children soiled the light colored fabric ect. I bought it at about $650! The cleanings were ok I called twice but they send a crackhead out to your house which is kind of scary BUT not Megan's fault nevertheless the last call I was met with the unfortunate reality that I had a dye transfer problem from a throw blanket for my dogs. I am very disappointed with Mega Furniture. My husband and I went in with the intention of purchasing a sectional couch. We loved their selection. We purchased what we fell in love with. Delivered within timely manner, this is when nightmare began. One console was not delivered and the one that was delivered was so disgusting, obviously used. It was dirty had animal and human hair and obvious wear and tear of the leather. Took photos and called Mega Furniture. Spoke to customer service in San Antonio. Correspondence was with Brenda, very cordial, however it must be a speech she is accustomed to. I was told the consoles were ordered and would take approximately 6 weeks for delivery. It took almost three months for the replaced console and delivery of the supposedly new console. Well, guess what, the new console had broken pieces. Once again, we've called and called it's been 11 months and NO replacement. Mega Furniture had the audacity to call us about a great sale. NEVER again. Still trying to get our console replaced. Harrowing experience. They forced me to write a good review. The lady grabbed my phone and took me to the website to post it. She told me they had terrible reviews and needed to improve them. They tell you you may win a big screen TV if you leave a good review. We had a horrible experience, we didn't get our furniture and they don't want to refund our money. Corporate told us we would get refunded but we had to go to the store, when we went to the store they played dumb telling us they couldn't do that. So maybe you'll find some scratch and dent on the floor that you can pay for and walk out with. That would likely work out OK for you. That being said everything outside of the actual piece of furniture is not worth dealing with. I'm pretty sure you can get the same furniture somewhere else. My mother and I made purchases from this store at the same time around mid July 2020. Neither one of us received the actual furniture until months later. My dresser arrived with a broken bottom drawer. I called the store at least 10 times to request someone come out and fix it. Never received a follow up call or email, nothing. They gave me the run around each time, saying they would have the service department call me. I absolutely love the dresser but, the bottom drawer is still broken.
