Many of these negative service reviews really surprise me! I almost always go to this store sweaty and sans make up after jogging or spinning--today I went in with my 5 month old puppy after a walk. The employees are always courteous and helpful. They were super sweet to my puppy. I have never experienced any judgement about my attire. Today, my trip was to replace some missing wash cloths that match the bath and hand towels I had purchased on a previous trip. Not a big sale and the people at the store were super kind to help me locate the correct style and color. As to the pricing---yes this merchandise is expensive. But I do think that is because of the quality of the fabrication. If you are looking for inexpensive linens, there are literally hundreds of other options. If you are looking for high quality, organic, cool sleeping linens those are expensive here and everywhere. I appreciate the curation of the store. I have purchased many pillows, bath linens, bed linens, duvet covers, and accessories. I think they have nailed the unique casual chic style that is so associated with Austin. Yeow! This place is expensive! Don't get me wrong - I'll spend some money on some stuff if I love it like it's my job but I'm still mindful of prices so take note, if you aren't willing to pay $300 for pillowcases and $400 for throw blankets this might not necessarily be the place you'll want to shop. That being said - they do have some gift items like candles, necklaces, and decorative items. The store has some furniture pieces, bedding, pillows, decorative accents, and other random knick knacks. I liked it well enough - had I been in the right frame of mind to spend $300 on the pretty pink silk pillowcase I found I would have but I just wasn't in the mood that day to spend that sort of money after a weekend of shopping. Hands down, this store oozes "couldn't be bothered customer service." Never again. Horrifyingly vapid and unhelpful staff who have conversations with friends or among themselves before helping you even when you're purchasing items. If you're going to have outrageously priced home goods, many well worth the value, the least the staff and management could do is smile, be welcoming and actually say "Thank you," or "have a great afternoon" as you leave. Seriously, complete C U Next Tuesday attitude. No thanks. No longer a customer. Buy online and save the hassle. Be warned! I bought a fitted sheet as a replacement, brought it home, it was cream not white, took it back because it didn't match, and found out store credit (over $300) was only option! A few months later, went back to use my credit, they looked in a paper accordion file (!!!!), said, sorry, we don't have it -- they don't have computer records! The clerk admonished me that "I should have held on to my paper receipt." This after 20 minutes wandering around before anyone bothered to stop their visiting among themselves and ask me if I needed any help. Every thing in this store is available elsewhere or on line. Bought a sofa there two years ago. The slipcover on the bench wore out, was informed by their salesperson it would cost me more to buy a replacement slipcover than my sofa did, even after applying a 20% discount she offered to me in the parking lot, running after me as I left the store. I've purchased--at different times--mattress, bed, end tables, sheets, etc. The Ligna sheets are "a million dollars," according to my husband, but so worth it! My last set lasted 10 years. I'm on the way to buy the new teal set! EDITED TO SAY OUR NEW SET GOT A RIP AFTER ONLY 2 years! Granted, I didn't use the mild liquid soap they gave me with the sheets, because certain it did a horrible job on normal spots. But then I used my pods on the other set and it lasted 10 years. These sheets are VERY VERY expensive. I think their quality dipped way low in the intervening 10 years. Holy sheet!! read more

I heard they have new owners.?.? That would explain it. I walked in today and with 4 employees that were there, not one of them said a word to me. Instead, they were talking about personal problems.
