Equipment: They have squat racks, benches, exercise balls, row machines..all sorts of things. Also, there are mats if you forget your yoga mat. I do the Power the Active and the Spin classes, in a way a blended kind of Crossfit but one that normal people like me can enjoy being part of. No one walks around in the latest spandex and there are no 'muscle heads'. This is interesting entertaining and refreshing exercise that anyone can do and do it up to any level they choose. I heartedly endorse this gym, its programs are designed by doctors and trainers and based on reality not on fantasy. It's also costs a fraction of the other two clubs i mentioned which were both a waste of a lot of my money. Give it a try you wont be disappointed.

Alison the owner offers more advanced classes like bootcamp and tabata training, but she's glad to show you how make the moves more do-able so you can get started. When I first started, if I missed a class she'd send me a text - hey, we missed you today, what's up? It was motivation, but not pressure. If you want a fun place to get sweaty, at your level, come join us! She not only helped me with my goal of losing weight (40lb+ down and still losing), but also helped me with my nutrition and my last year's cardio goals as well of running my first marathon this past month. We all have different goals (add muscle mass, lose weight, improve conditioning, etc), but to get results sometimes you just need someone else to lay it out for you and hold you accountable. I'm currently maintaining the most muscle mass in my life with noticeable improvements in strength, while the wifey has slimmed down a ton while adding muscle as well. We're all human and have flaws (cheat days) which she understands, but she'll hold you accountable for your poor diet and is always suggesting nutrition improvements. The workout space is in a building suite, with all the weights, machines, training equipment, etc. This isn't a typical gym; there are no cardio treadmills/ ellipticals/ bikes, but you can get the same effect with what she has you do (what trainer wants to watch you do cardio anyways?). The workouts are kept challenging and tailored to your end goal, as she pushes you to the max. She trains all age ranges from teens to seniors, individuals and small groups as well. Camie will be challenging, but at the same time everybody grows close (you can talk about anything and everything) as everyone operates on similar work out schedules. Definitely recommend her, and her loyal clients would probably agree as well.

The front-desk is also very warm and welcoming. I tore my achilles and one of my goals has been to play soccer again. I have had a mental block when it comes to pushing off my injured ankle for fear of repeating injury. My physical therapist introduced dribbling and passing exercises to distract me from focusing on reinjury. I have made a lot of progress, and I am very appreciative that he found creative ways to push me forward. The facility is top-notch. There is a huge turf field, a fully equipped weight-training area, and there is a lot of energy filling the wide-open space. If you are looking to get back into game shape, this is the place for you.

Nick brings great knowledge, energy, and encouragement to every session. He carefully watches every movement, ensuring proper form and making adjustments so I'm training safely and effectively. He consistently pushes me out of my comfort zone -- every workout leaves me with nothing left in the tank. Since training with him, I've seen real results -- lower body weight and body fat% while increasing muscle mass.
