    Delicious pizza

The best pizza on the island. Absolutely delicious every time. Truly incredible . The family who runs the truck are attentive and kind. There is outdoor seating available as well.

While visiting my dad who was a patient at Tripler's, we overheard the nurses telling another patient's family about this pizza truck outside in the parking lot. One day we decided to try it out. My mom and I got the BBQ Chicken Pizza and the Chicken Pesto Pizza in the personal size. It took about half hour to get our pizza because it was around lunchtime so there were a lot of orders ahead of us. What I liked about it was Nick made the pizza fresh. You were able to see the many containers of his fresh pizza dough that was portioned out according to size. We finally got our pizza hot and fresh out of the oven and that first bite was delicious. Flavors were balanced and that dough was top notch. Crunchy on the outside but nice, soft and chewy on the inside. The pizza size for personal size was pretty big. We ended up taking the rest home for dinner. The ambiance was nice being that it was at a hospital but the smells of freshly baked pizza is what draws you. Besides pizza, they serve sandwiches, salads and calzones. Looking forward to trying something else from there. Obviously with it being on military property and needing a military ID, you are allowed to get a visitors pass from the gate and check out Meganiko's. You won't be disappointed!

Meganiko's is located outside Tripler Army Medical Center. If you're familiar with Starbucks and Subway on the Oceanside first floor, this food truck is located right outside. If not, after you pass the guard shack it is located at the left turn before the Emergency Room entrance. It is a beautiful food truck! First of all, Nik and his wife are absolutely the sweetest and kindest people. They are very pleasant and you can tell they put a lot of love and time into their food. I have always had wonderful customer service and felt valued as a customer. Nik talks to you as if he's known you his whole life - he's a genuine person. Meganiko's offers freshly made to order pizzas (personal size and full size) in addition to gyros, sandwiches, salads, and specials such as kebobs, meatballs, baked spaghetti, and calzones (there are others - it just depends on the day!) Nik has perfected the art of making a perfect pizza crust - you have to try it for yourself to know what I'm talking about. I have ordered from him multiple times and am satisfied each time - he is consistent with the quality of his food. All breads are made fresh by the way! Sometimes he has dessert as well - again I have never been disappointed. Side note, I LOVE the side of meatballs with his tzatziki sauce - SO GOOD! I also put the tzatziki sauce on my pizza (hey, don't judge me lol!) Nik's prices are extremely reasonable considering inflation. I love to support small businesses - it is definitely hard nowadays. If you're looking for some yummy food, give this place a try! I highly recommend it!!

Nick and his wife are absolutely adorable. Watching him work is so cute to watch. You can tell he really has a passion for the food he creates! His portions are huge. Like his personal pizza is really like two or three meals. The food is soooo tasty! The potatoes he makes are simply the best. And I'm pretty sure his meatballs are homemade! We're so grateful to have his food truck at our convenience. Edit: I went back the same day to buy my partner dinner to take home, it was that good!

    Greek food truck. Yum
    Dusty B.

This innocuous food truck hides a diabolical delicious Greek menu. They make their own rolls in the oven on the truck. I'll say that again, they make their own rolls in the truck oven! I had a meatball with roasted eggplant and red pepper sandwich slathered in tatziki sauce. My mouth waters as I write this. I'd walk over hot coals to eat more of their menu.

    Large Greek pizza, family size
    Leilani C.

The best Greek pizza! Order ahead or order and come back since it's made fresh, including the dough. They make personal or large family size pizzas plus many other menu items.

This stellar chef, stopped prepping for the next day at about 11pm just to make my family that had just had a baby. The price is completely irrelevant for the experience of the love of food. He made us a from scratch (as all are) half pepperoni and half "supreme" pizza for the family. As well made a handmade own recipe meatball for my wife, who enjoyed the vast yet simple flavor as a first meal postpartum.

    Chicken Gyro for $13

Chicken pesto pizza is one of the absolute best pizzas I've ever had. Made fresh right infront of me. Received pipping hot and right out of the oven. Everything about it was fresh and delicious! The mozzarella was fresher than any other pizza I've eaten. This might be my go-to pizza order from Meganiko's from now on.

The insides is airconditioned and there are tables and chairs to dine in. No waiters or waitresses. You order your food at the counter and grab your own table The restaurant is split. The kitchen and counter is as you walk in with bathrooms to the right. The kitchen is an open kitchen so you can actually watch the workers make pizza. They also have a showcase with pizza by the slice. Service staff was very busy and was just very busy (kind of like a chinese restaurantjust get it done). The slices are huge but the prices reflect that. A lot of people was waiting to pick up pizzas to go. Whole pizzas range from $32 and up. The crust is not the real crispy type more on the softer side. We all have different prefferences I prefer a more crispy crust. A popular pizza place that has been around for long time...not the cheapest but a lot love them. If you havent tried them yet might be worth it to check them out.

So after years of passing by these random buildings on the side of the road, I finally turned right....and that was right. Okay, well it wasn't random I ended up here, our friend group decided to come here for dinner, so I am grateful for them for knowing this place and planning a dinner here. I love the decorations here and the open kitchen adds the the ambiance too. It's of course, Boston focused with a lot of no-nonsense attitude to spare. The staff also matches the friendly atmosphere, it seems like they all get along and have fun running the show. This is especially important since it is almost like an "open kitchen" concept. You see and hear everything so you see the dough flying along with their banter back and forth as well. Pizzas were amazing! They had a bunch of different flavors and were very helpful offering to cut bigger size slices smaller so the kids could eat or easier to split the pizza. Our favorite was something with cheese, spinach, and another topping. There was also this one with bacon that hot the spot with everyone on the table that we ordered ANOTHER ONE! I wish I could tell you exactly what was on them, but just know whatever you order is gonna be great!

I've only gone bowling there a handful of times, but I've gone for the food more times than I can count. Most of the time, we order takeout and eat at home. It's nice inside, but it can get crowded, so takeout is usually our go-to. My boyfriend got the tasty chicken and kalbi mixed plate, and I got the tasty chicken and furikake ahi. If you go there, you have to try the tasty chicken. The portions are huge! At first, I wondered why they didn't fully close my plate, but it was packed so full that it could barely close! The portions overall are massive. Two mixed plates and a side of garlic fries turned into dinner plus two extra meals. The tossed salad was good, and even as someone who's picky about mac salad, I thought theirs was really good. The garlic fries were also crisp to perfection. I'm also obsessed with their strawberry and lemon crunch cakes. They're soft with the perfect amount of toffee crunch. I've brought them to work a few times, and they've always been a crowd favorite. This place is comfort food for us. Huge portions, consistently good food, and a spot that keeps us coming back!

My father and brother are both military veterans and enjoyed the fact that this venue was situated at a golf course they patronized before. We all ordered drinks--I ordered a bottle of wine, taking advantage of the Half-off Wine Wednesdays; some tried the alcohol specials and others simply elected to have soda. I ordered a few appetizers for the table and those went quickly: calamari, bruschetta, and artichoke dip. Yum! Main entrees followed and everyone seemed to enjoy their selections. We ordered dessert and were disappointed that they ran out of creme brulee...my father ordered the cheesecake and thoroughly enjoyed it. My only reason for not giving five stars has to do with the outdoor seating. I wish the chairs were more comfortable, as we sat there for awhile, waiting for our server to take our large group order along with waiting for food to come out. There is adequate parking and the restrooms are clean and accessible. An elevator is located in the lobby for those who are not able to easily climb the flight of stairs to the venue. I wish the signage was better, as my 74 year old father took the outside steps, as he thought that was the entrance, per signage downstairs.

I did notice that the customers in the restaurant already was also in a bad mood from whatever was going on in their lives (one guy was being super mean to his kids because they spilled their soda. It was weird seeing him talk smack to them so loud.. it made me feel super uncomfortable.) I was guessing at that point that the energy in the restaurant was just off by the time I ordered my pizza. I went up to order a drink and it spilled a little bit when the girl working gave it to me. I got a napkin to clean it up because it spilled next to their register. Although the girl working was annoyed with everything going on, she looked at me and looked relieved that I was trying to clean it up. She smiled for that one second and told me thank you.
