All food made fresh. Owner knows everyone by name(local diners). All the food that has come out looks and smells good. 25 minute wait on a pizza, but we will see. I wanted a Greek salad, but I wanted to try the pizza so I ordered a Greek pizza! Middle ground is good. From how the people are greeted and receive their meals I think this was a good choice! Wow Pizza was good!

Meat pizza fresh out of the oven!!

We ordered several things, large meat pizza, chicken gyro, chicken pesto sandwich and meatball sandwich! Everything was AMAZING!! The pizza was the BEST one I've ever had! 10/10 for service, the owner was so kind and friendly. My family is hooked and we will be going back many many more times!!

AMAZING food. And the owners are so sweet. I had the Greek pizza yesterday and I watched them make the whole thing from scratch. It was so yummy. Going again today to try more things on the menu!

While visiting my dad who was a patient at Tripler's, we overheard the nurses telling another patient's family about this pizza truck outside in the parking lot. One day we decided to try it out. My mom and I got the BBQ Chicken Pizza and the Chicken Pesto Pizza in the personal size. It took about half hour to get our pizza because it was around lunchtime so there were a lot of orders ahead of us. What I liked about it was Nick made the pizza fresh. You were able to see the many containers of his fresh pizza dough that was portioned out according to size. We finally got our pizza hot and fresh out of the oven and that first bite was delicious. Flavors were balanced and that dough was top notch. Crunchy on the outside but nice, soft and chewy on the inside. The pizza size for personal size was pretty big. We ended up taking the rest home for dinner. The ambiance was nice being that it was at a hospital but the smells of freshly baked pizza is what draws you. Besides pizza, they serve sandwiches, salads and calzones. Looking forward to trying something else from there. Obviously with it being on military property and needing a military ID, you are allowed to get a visitors pass from the gate and check out Meganiko's. You won't be disappointed!

Meganiko's is located outside Tripler Army Medical Center. If you're familiar with Starbucks and Subway on the Oceanside first floor, this food truck is located right outside. If not, after you pass the guard shack it is located at the left turn before the Emergency Room entrance. It is a beautiful food truck! First of all, Nik and his wife are absolutely the sweetest and kindest people. They are very pleasant and you can tell they put a lot of love and time into their food. I have always had wonderful customer service and felt valued as a customer. Nik talks to you as if he's known you his whole life - he's a genuine person. Meganiko's offers freshly made to order pizzas (personal size and full size) in addition to gyros, sandwiches, salads, and specials such as kebobs, meatballs, baked spaghetti, and calzones (there are others - it just depends on the day!) Nik has perfected the art of making a perfect pizza crust - you have to try it for yourself to know what I'm talking about. I have ordered from him multiple times and am satisfied each time - he is consistent with the quality of his food. All breads are made fresh by the way! Sometimes he has dessert as well - again I have never been disappointed. Side note, I LOVE the side of meatballs with his tzatziki sauce - SO GOOD! I also put the tzatziki sauce on my pizza (hey, don't judge me lol!) Nik's prices are extremely reasonable considering inflation. I love to support small businesses - it is definitely hard nowadays. If you're looking for some yummy food, give this place a try! I highly recommend it!!

    Delicious pizza

The best pizza on the island. Absolutely delicious every time. Truly incredible . The family who runs the truck are attentive and kind. There is outdoor seating available as well.

Nick and his wife are absolutely adorable. Watching him work is so cute to watch. You can tell he really has a passion for the food he creates! His portions are huge. Like his personal pizza is really like two or three meals. The food is soooo tasty! The potatoes he makes are simply the best. And I'm pretty sure his meatballs are homemade! We're so grateful to have his food truck at our convenience. Edit: I went back the same day to buy my partner dinner to take home, it was that good!

    Greek food truck. Yum

This innocuous food truck hides a diabolical delicious Greek menu. They make their own rolls in the oven on the truck. I'll say that again, they make their own rolls in the truck oven! I had a meatball with roasted eggplant and red pepper sandwich slathered in tatziki sauce. My mouth waters as I write this. I'd walk over hot coals to eat more of their menu.

The best Greek pizza! Order ahead or order and come back since it's made fresh, including the dough. They make personal or large family size pizzas plus many other menu items.

This stellar chef, stopped prepping for the next day at about 11pm just to make my family that had just had a baby. The price is completely irrelevant for the experience of the love of food. He made us a from scratch (as all are) half pepperoni and half "supreme" pizza for the family. As well made a handmade own recipe meatball for my wife, who enjoyed the vast yet simple flavor as a first meal postpartum.

    Chicken Gyro for $13

Chicken pesto pizza is one of the absolute best pizzas I've ever had. Made fresh right infront of me. Received pipping hot and right out of the oven. Everything about it was fresh and delicious! The mozzarella was fresher than any other pizza I've eaten. This might be my go-to pizza order from Meganiko's from now on.

The restaurant is super clean and spacious, and they play some awesome classic rock music. You order and pay at the counter and they will bring you the food; the lady at the counter was extremely friendly and very efficient. You need to bus your own table when you're done, just place the used dishes, glasses and utensils in the labeled plastic tubs, not a big deal at all. Now, the food is the star. We order baba ganoush with pita, super gyro with zucchini fries, and a soup and salad combo. The baba ganoush was so delicious, and the pita was warm and soft. The super gyro has so much yummy meat in it that the pita can hardly hold them, and the zucchini fries were crispy and not oily. It also comes with a couple really good tzatziki sauces. My wife really enjoyed the avgolemono (lemon and chicken) soup and greek salad. She was so pleased with the combo that she had to order an extra takeout combo for her friend to try. On top of all that, we finished our great meal with a baklava sundae; two fresh crispy baklava pastries with a scoop of vanilla ice cream drizzled with cinnamon and honey. This desert is a must order. The restaurant is mixed in with a lot of other restaurants and shops in a large strip mall, so it maybe easy to miss. The prices are really reasonable and the portions are good. If you like Mediterranean food; this is the place. You will love it.

They didn't feel heavy or greasy at all, they were thinly breaded and super fresh and crispy. I would go back just for those. I ordered the lamb souvlaki, everything comes with a side so I got it with the baba ghanoush. I love the way the lamb was seasoned and the baba ghanoush was delicious I might even prefer it over hummus. Not pictured, but I even got to try their garlic fries which also weren't greasy either and they had lots of garlic! I got to try their spanakopita as well, super flaky and crispy. For me, everything was a 10/10. It ended up being a lot more food than expected and perfect if you're looking for something healthy, light, but also filling. The environment was calm and the lady who was there was super friendly as well! I'd be back all the time if I didn't live so far!

Based on the sign…read moreoutside we thought it was a skin care company but after turning the corner, we saw that it was a restaurant. We had a date night here this weekend. We made reservations on open table easily and found parking at the Waikiki shopping plaza which we were already familiar with. After our 2 hour meal, we found that we didn't have to pay for parking. That's a GREAT deal in Waikiki! I'm in a wheelchair and found the ramp outside and around the restaurant where big island burgers was. When we got to the top of the ramp, we found a stantion blocking the entrance I feel they should have opened it prior to our arrival since I noted I was in a wheelchair in my reservation. I had to call the restaurant to open it. That was fine and the worker, I believe her name was Ai, was so kind and told us they had a table for us but it was in a narrow area. So we waited for a minute and she sat us in a more comfortable area. The menu, I have to say, is a little confusing. The prefixe menu $80/pp"menu pregustazione" has a antipasto, appetizer listed then primi course which I presume is the main course and a "secondi" course but has a price tag for each item. Then desserts have 3 items listed. Does that mean everyone shares 3 desserts? Then coffee or tea We asked our waitress for recommendations. She recommended the Terra e mare antipasto misto to share between the both of us (which we ordered) and the red snapper aqua pazza. We passed on the aqua pazza because my dad is a fisherman and we eat red snapper often. The pupu was great: Seafood ceviche, bruschetta with tako escargot(I think), focaccia, calamari, prosciutto, calamari, and shrimp covered in katafi. It was such a great introduction to the restaurant. I also had the oasis cooler to drink, a delicious zero proof drink with soda, pineapple & coconut cream. Such a delight! Hubby had the grape garden cooler with aloe liquor, white grape puree, elderflower liquor, lime & mint. He works for a liquor company and preferred my drink. We shared our entrees: vongole bianco and pescatore spaghetti. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. The pescatore spaghetti came with shrimp, mussels, clams & scallops. We could taste the seafood in the spaghetti. Delicious! There was a little bit of sand in one of my clams in the vongole. Nothing to complain about, but something that could be avoided by cleaning them properly. Prior to ordering we asked the waitress " you know local braddah, he like know which dish has the most". Then she nodded. So we knew she wasn't local HOWEVER after reading some reviews (after dining there) , we saw they offer kamaaina discount. We were not offered that. We ordered the Sicilian cheesecake which was light and delicious. It had a crème brûlée top. Yum! We also ordered the tiramisu which was light and airy For the heftier crowd , the portions will not satisfy you. It would be nice if the restaurant offered extra noodles for a fee. Next time I'd like to try their moussaka because that's hard to find here. I think it's Japan National owned. You can taste the strive for excellence. I had to ask for a water refill which, in my books, tells me how good service is. So that needs improvement. My server was nice but not outstanding. Overall a nice experience for a date night. Great vibe.

When the bartender (not our waitress) came with another drink, we explained that all the drinks had something off about them. He was not understanding, telling us, "well we've been serving it all night and nobody else has a problem with it." Leaving the drinks behind and walking away. Our waitress was however very understanding and offered to re-pour or get us something different. Our waitress forgot to put in our order, it happens. No problem at all. She was still amazing, honest, very apologetic. The manager however threw the waitress under the bus behind her back, bad mouthed her, told us she does it all the time. It took nearly 1.5 hours to get our food. Manager would barely provide us compensation. Giving us a very measly discount on some meals, bread not included. It was very odd and her attitude was very backhanded. Long story short, not worth the wait. Food was underwhelming. Undercooked, both the bolognese and the pescatore.
