    Onion Rings Philly Original Steak

Best place for a cheesesteak on island in my opinion. Owners are really nice, portions are big, and there's a pretty good selection to choose from.

Craving for authentic Philly cheesesteaks and hoagies? Well this is definitely the place for legit Philly sandwiches. Definitely Recommend!

Buddy and I wanted to stop buy and try Phillies after seeing a couple of days ago. It was hard to find a time to go eat since it's only open for 3 hours a day. Now onto the food, I stuck with a classic getting the old regular Philly Cheesesteak with some fries on the side. The hoagie bread was the best part sandwich everything else not so much. The steak was doused in way to much pepper to the point were I bit into a chunk of pepper. Other than that the fries were a bit soggy and over salted. My buddy decided to get the Buffalo Chicken Cheesesteak which also ended up disappointing him as well the chicken was dry and also doused in pepper. The buffalo sauce didn't taste like buffalo sauce, it tasted like hot sauce more than anything. Didn't receive the Blue Cheese for it either. Inside was pretty clean, mostly empty due to only being open for such a short time. The wait for food was pretty average. But the price to food ratio is a little bit over the top for meat and cheese thrown into bread.

Cheesesteak combo with everything and (of course) Cheese Wiz.

The place is really cool and a good change of pace from the norm on Oahu. While it's definitely not cheap, the prices are similar to premium subs/hoagies at other places. If you want authentic Philly cheesesteaks, this is the best place on island, hands down. The food comes out fast and the folks are extremely pleasant.

It was pretty good overall. Really nice inside, Philadelphia themed, hence the name Phillies. Food was good, I had a half Cuban. My only complaint was there wasn't much meat. Regardless good. Highly recommend.

Two of us ordered from week 3 - Chicken cutlets with mushroom and gravy. Comes with soup or salad and a fountain soda. I had the Kalua pork veg soup, which was tasty, but the Kalua pork should have been cut into shorter shreds for ease of eating. Soup had a wonderful smoky flavor and aroma. Daughter had the salad, was delicious as always with mixed greens, tomato, and good dressing. Can't go wrong. We were both bowled over by how nice and crunchy/crispy the breading on the chicken cutlet was and how tender the chicken was. Mushrooms really added umami flavor. BCD nailed it with this dish! Hubby had French toast and he enjoyed it. you order two of the weekly specials you get a choice of desserts - BCD signature bread pudding or the brownie pie ala mode. We choose the brownie pie and we're so impressed by how amazing it looked - Anela made it beautiful - and how awesome it tasted. Decadent chewy fudge brownie, Dave's vanilla bean ice cream, whipped cream, all drizzled with chocolate syrup and dusted with powdered sugar. This was to die for! Highly recommend it and the chicken cutlet. Only complaint was the music was so loud it was difficult to talk to the others at our table and to hear our server. Would have given this dining experience 5 stars if the music wasn't so loud it was hurting my ears from the moment we walked in.

We only waited a couple of minutes for a table and our food came out in about 15 minutes. Every employee we interacted with from our server to the bussers were friendly and welcoming. The ribeye loco moco was the highlight (they were out of the prime rib). They give you a FULL SIZED ribeye (maybe 10oz?) instead of a small piece of steak like how they do with a hamburger patty or two, which was a pleasant surprise. I ordered mine medium, but it unfortunately came out very well done. Thankfully, the rich gravy, perfectly cooked eggs, and the $3 pork adobo fried rice upgrade more than made up for it. That fried rice alone is worth ordering. We also shared the chicken and waffles, and the fried chicken was seasoned really well with a great crunch without being overly breaded. My only "complaint" other than the steak temp was that it came with honey but no syrup. I understand the choice, but I wish they at least offered syrup on the side (granted I didn't ask for any). Our bill for the ribeye loco moco and chicken and waffles was around $55, which felt fair for Hawaii especially when you get an entire ribeye. I will definitely be back to try the prime rib loco moco!

(There were a LOT of people waiting!) Lady calling out names as tables were ready really seemed to enjoy her job. Her intonation was pleasant to listen to, and she was easy to understand, nice and loud. Names were being called out at a good pace so tables were clearing quickly. Guess the breakfast/brunch folks were all leaving around that time. Just under 20 minutes my name was called and as soon as we entered the door from waiting on a bench outside there was a hostess ready to seat us. After seating us she asked about drinks and very quickly brought hubby's Dr. Pepper and my Coke Zero (no ice). Mine had a lemon in it, which turns out to be the signal it's a Coke Zero. Added nice flavor, too. She said our server would be right with us, and we had just enough time to scan the menu then our server Alicia came to our table. We ordered immediately and our food came in record time. Hubby's pancakes with scrambled eggs and bacon, no butter had tall fluffy pancakes, and no butter. (Some places forget, but not here.) My Salmon Benedict came with eggs poached perfectly, yolks runny, as it should be. I ordered my hash browns "crispy" and they were perfectly crisp on both sides. (Not every place crisps hash browns on both sides...) Alicia came at just the right time to check on us and ask if I wanted my soda refilled. She looked at it and asked if it was a Coke Zero, so the lemon must be the signal. She was very busy (it was bustling inside) but managed to stop by at all the right times. Friendly but no chit chat since it was super busy, very efficient, which was perfect for us. She came by just when we were done and asked if I needed a box for my food, and we asked if we could order a slice of pie to go. Hubby wanted the fresh strawberry pie which is in season. She suggested the strawberry tart, which suited him just fine. I asked if they still had fresh peach pie and she again suggested the tart. Alicia brought our 2 tarts in a paper bag and said she included forks and napkins. She had given me a paper bag for my Benedict but I wanted to help the environment and we were trying to fit it with the tarts. She was eagle eyed and called out to us that she would bring another bag. We explained we just wanted to not waste a bag and showed her the unopened one she had brought with my box. She was amazing. Looking forward to the next time we visit. Hope we get her as our server again. Got home and while the tarts are for dessert tonight, I wanted to enjoy the freshness of the tart crust so I snuck a piece. The crust was so good! And the fresh peaches were great, too. Always better than canned. The yards are really almost like a slice and a half of pie and and neater than taking home a slice, so it's a good deal. Pies are expensive because making pie crusts takes time, so getting extra crust in a tart is great. Hope our next visit goes as well as today's. Thinking of getting the chicken pot pie next time!

Not so much anymore, especially since covid. And, they only carry certain pies daily and add more selection on the weekends. Customer service was still spot on. When I approached the pie area, I was greeted by a warm and friendly gal. I was only buying 2 slices of pie - banana cream and macadamia nut cream. I was told that the macadamia nut cream pie was only made on the weekends. Ok, I asked if I can still be it by the slice on the weekend and she told me that it is only sold whole. That was a big disappointment because that was my favorite pie there but did not want to get a whole pie. They did have the banana cream and I was able to get by the slice. I ended up getting a slice of custard pie for my 2nd choice. The gal did show me the sign by the register of what pies are available for slice for that day, which wasn't a lot. Both pies tasted ok, nothing special. The banana cream had a few slices of real banana, which was nice. The pie crust was on the thick side and tasted pretty dry. It wasn't the best banana cream pie I've had .The custard pie was meh, didn't have a real good custardy taste and the crust was the same as the banana cream. Overall, the customer service was good and I probably will go elsewhere for pies.

This sandwich is pretty basic and includes turkey, avocado spread, bacon, lettuce, tomato, & mayo. You can add on more veggies at no charge such as cucumber, onion, oregano, & even hot mustard. The sandwich itself was good but for $13.99 I wish they had fresh avocado or added more avocado spread because I didn't taste any of it. Second, the bread was really soft with a bit of a chewy crust. It's made fresh daily so you know it's quality. Overall, it was a pretty good sandwich but nothing special. Maybe we have to try a different sandwich with different meats next time!
