Biriyani is really okay. The overall taste was okay. I am a big fan of spicy food and I should say the food is not spicy.

This was the worse indian food I've had in a while. I ordered the butter chicken which was $10.49 after taxes. The buffet looked decent, but I wasn't in the mood for Tandoori Chicken. I had my mouth set on Butter Chicken. I was in a rush so got it to go. It smelled like feet. As I was driving I broke off some of the naan...it was not naan. The bread was old pita bread at best. It was very hard, dry and chewy and I could barely make it through a few bites. Naan should be soft and practically melt in your mouth if done right. The meal came in a styrofoam container...so I'm thinking "hey, this seems like a decent amount of food". Wrong. It was barely half filled. The 'butter chicken' was basically hard bite sized chunks of white chicken meat in a tomato sauce with a ton of spice dumped on it. I couldn't feel my tongue. If you do butter chicken right it can be spicy with taste. This had no taste. The tomato sauce should also have cream incorporated into it (I've made butter chicken several times). This tasted like canned tomato sauce with spice. The rice was OK, but they only gave me about 1/8 cup. And of course half of it had that nasty tomato sauce spilled into it..so inedible. The chickpeas also were WAY too spicy. I'm a fan of good spicy food....but this was INEDIBLE. I threw away the meal after taking about 5 or 6 bites. I was going to try to muster through it...but couldn't. I would definately go elsewhere...not here. read more

Wow ...this place has become recently quite awesome .we used to go there few years back but I don't know what has happened , the food quality has gone way up ...good job Mehran . We don't usually get the buffet we order on the menu ,and it just blows my mind each time I take the first bite . My kids love it too , u don't taste the usual shan Masala...it's authentic. Plus the service guys are well mannered and offer great service ...not to mention good cutlery as well , as opposed to the paper plates in other competing restaurants. Highly recommend it. Ordered a chicken tikka wrap on uber eats. Was excellent. Warm, soft naan bread absolutely stuffed with delicious chicken+sauce and fresh veggies. Very reasonably priced, $8 for a huge wrap. I'm normally more adventurous with my food choices but didn't want to push it when trying somewhere I'm not familiar with. I'm sold now, will definitely have to come in and try the buffet, (and everything else) it all sounds amazing. So glad I took a chance. read more

By accident I found this place, but was very impressed by their fresh selections of buffet foods. The curries and the naan were very fresh everything was fresh. A friend introduced me to this place and have been going there for some time. This would probably be my last time. The food tasted decent and the price is reasonable. The reason I'm writing this review is my stomach is pain right now and I can't even remember how many times I been in the bathroom today. My co-worker is in the same situation right now. We both had the lunch buffet and that was the first meal we had for the day. I really hate to put a review like this one bc I know it can hurt their business and I been coming here for some time. I just hope they get a chance to read this and not have this same situation happen again to other people or even worst someone ending up in a hospital. Came here while on vacation from New York, food was great. The place was clean which is rare of Desi restaurants and the service was amazing. The guy there named Asad was awesome. This place is okay for being in the middle of nowhere Sterling, so by that virtue alone it got bumped up one star. The standard ho-hum items are there with the Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Curry, Daal, and a few other dishes. I was most excited about the Daal Gosht (Daal/lentils with minced goat meat). I have tried them few times now. service is worst. nobody will come and take your order. you will wait for naan forever. doesn't matter how big your party is salad comes in smallest plates and only two plates for 15 people that i took with me. food is average. if you get lucky may be 1 out of 5 curries will taste fresh. not lot of options in buffet.
