    Taylor Swift Themed Birthday Cake

We ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday. She knew exactly what she wanted but wasn't sure if they could make it. When we picked it up it was beautiful. Exactly what my daughter wanted. She is a huge Taylor Swift fan and they nailed it perfectly. Thank you!

I stopped in Meijers to do an instacart order actually and when I was doing my order I seen these biscoff ice cream bars so I had to try them they were very very good just like I though so I figured I would let everyone know these are worth trying if your here at Meijers

I have been coming to meijers since this store opened. For the most part all my experiences have been good. An occasional issue is to be expected. They have everything that is needed. Prices are very reasonable. The social distancing is appropriate. All in all a good place to shop.

Came just to check out Meijers & see what's different than Walmart or Target, prices are just as competitive as the other 2. Now here's where it's different the customer service from each & every employee I've interacted with was top notch, everyone employee greeted us with a smile even if they were busy with other customers. We never thought we'd buy anything but we sure did come out with a cart full of stuff we found cheaper. Shopping at Meijers was an experience that really converted us from shopping the other 2 to them, we would drive the extra miles to have a great shopping experience. The other 2 you barely can get someone to help you out & if you do it seems like you're a bother to them. Keep up the great customer service.

People are very friendly and always had great service. Sad to see such poor fruit quality. Looks like now that they've been around for awhile it's going down to go match up with Giant Eagle. Very disappointing especially since I've always raved about this place and told people to go.

Delicious fresh produce at great prices!

Great new grocery/department store in Avon! The last time I set foot inside a Meijer was 20 years ago when I was in college at Ohio State, and I loved it, so I was excited to hear that one was opening in my area! Meijer brings some competition for Walmart since it's also open 24 hours and it's just a few miles away. Their grocery selection is great, and from what I've seen so far, the produce is very fresh! Much better than Giant Eagle! The meat selection is good and on sale prices are very competitive with other retailers. I noticed that their selection of organic grass-fed meats and organic produce is a bit lacking though. Also their fresh seafood section is fairly small. The deli is huge though and they carry Dietz and Watson meats! Not as good as Boar's Head that Fresh Thyme carries, but it's still good quality. The don't have much in the way of prepared foods except for rotisserie chicken, pasta salads, sushi, and pizza by the slice which didn't look that appealing to me. The bakery seems fine though. The department store section of the store is great! They have electronics, pet supplies with a tropical fish area, clothing, kitchen supplies, a Pharmacy, an outdoor home and garden area and more! Oh, they have a Starbucks, Great Clips, and a nail salon inside too! There's also a gas station out front that has plastic gloves you can use to pump gas if you're a germaphobe! I've never seen this at any gas station before. What I like most about Meijer is the M Perks rewards app. They have coupons you can e-clip and you get rewards in the form of dollars off your purchase from making purchases in the different categories like fresh meat, produce, health and beauty, etc. I saved $8 off my last purchase! You also earn discounts on gas. Using M Perks is easy....Just scan your phone or manually enter your phone number and PIN when you check out! Checkout is a breeze since they have a whole bunch of self checkout machines one each end of the store. I've never had to wait more than a minute or two even when it's been busy. The machines are really simple and intuitive too. Come check out the west side Meijer and see for yourself!

I just visited Meijer, definitely use their app! Great savings on the app. I found great deals in groceries such as produce and dairy products. They have great clips and Starbucks in the store that you can get multiple things done at one trip!!! How amazing is that. Sushi is freshly made and I highly recommend it.

The store was well organized; however they have tags with different colors and where I'm from those colors tend to coordinate with daily sales so I asked a lady who worked there what they meant and she said usually they have daily sales but everything was 50% off today and I even clarified "only holiday stuff?" And she responded the whole store so I was all gongho, filling my hands with shirts and unnecessary holiday decor cuz everything is so cheap, only to get to the register and I hear everyone in line complaining about what the signs posted all over the store states. Apparently last week if you spent $50, they sent you a coupon for 50% off and you would have to know that in order to understand there is no sale whatsoever unless you have that coupon. So why not take the dumb signs down? What a headache for everyone. Also, maybe educate your employees because they also do not understand. Sincerely, a customer who is unimpressed with this experience and probably will skip next time we're in town.

Paris Baguette, a French/Korean bakery chain, is very much like Tour les Jours to me, and I wanted…read moreto test to see which one of these self-serve bakery chains are better. My boyfriend and I liked Tous les Jours when we went to the Lyndhurst location when it opened about a year-ish ago. It wasn't perfect though and we had some minor quibbles. So while in the Avon area in July 2026, we stopped in for a snack. Inside, it is quite cute! Pretty packaging and lovely baked goods everywhere. Unfortunately, the women's restroom was a bit of a mess. The floor was a little dirty nd the toilet paper holder was busted up. But it wasn't terrible. This was just a snack break for the two of us, so we didn't order a ton. I got the coffee bun ($3.50) and a small korean iced milk coffee ($4.39). My bf got the smores croissant ($5.50) and a red bean bun ($3.10). His croissant was stuffed with marshmallow cream. He had fun eating it. My coffee bun was basically a brioche bun with a dusting of coffee. Call me basic, but I actually really loved it! Although, I gotta know how in the world was my korean iced coffee only 60 calories with all the half and half, whole milk, and syrup? It ended up being too sweet anyway but I did finish it because it cost me almost 5 bucks! I really liked my coffee bun and my bf enjoyed his red bean bun. He ended up wishing he had ordered the smores Belgian waffle instead of the croissant since the smores part of the croissant was only some icing on top of a regular croissant. Overall, I paid about $18 for 4 items, 2 of which we would order again. I liked the drinks at Tous les Jour better as well as the aesthetic, but my coffee bun was a real winner in the pastry department so we will call it a tie. We are glad we finally tried out Paris Baguette!

BUTTERY AND FLAKY PASTRIES!! Established in South Korea so this bakery consists of a mix of…read moreEuropean and Asian baked goods. I finally visited Paris Baguette in February 2026 and I arrived around 6:30am. They opened this Avon, Ohio location in June 2025. I visited a second time in March 2026. Paris Baguette is owned by a South Korean food group, much to my surprise. They only have about 2 locations in Paris, France. Most of their locations are in Asia (majority in South Korea). Other locations are in North America and Europe. ORDER -- Walk in and to your left are tongs and a tray. Pick out your items, place them on the try, then head to the counter to pay for them. Sit inside and enjoy the delicate bites or take your order to go. PASTRIES/BREAD -- Arrive early to get pastries because they normally sell out. They sell milk buns (bread) which is popular in Asia. There are a variety of pastries to choose from. During my 2 visits, I got the ham & cheese pastry ($5), Fruit Bite -- Raspberry ($3.00), a sweet potato pastry ($4) which I got for free because of their free pastry offer, and a pepperoni pastry ($5.69). All of the pastries that I ate were delicious. My favourites were the sweet potato pasty and the ham & cheese pastry. The sweet potato pastry is described as a "buttery twisted pastry with sweet potato and custard cream, sprinkled with black sesame seeds." -- this is a unique and tasty pastry. I noticed cakes for sale by the slice and whole cakes up at the counter. PRICES - Fair and standard. Yes, it will be expensive but that isn't surprising as most bakeries aren't cheap. The reviews complaining about prices should just be aware that this isn't a full asian bakery where the prices tend to be a bit lower. This is a mix of European and Asian. In addition, bakeries will not be cheap. SEATING -- This is a smaller cafe but there are about 7 tables and chairs to sit on plus a counter at the back to sit on. Overall, their baked goods are delicious and fresh plus the bakery is clean. Customer service has always been attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back. The only downside is if you arrive late, you may not have any options left to choose from plus the baked goods may not be as fresh as evident from my 2nd visit in March 2026 when I arrived after 6:30pm and they only had a few pastry options left. TIP 1 -- If you order the ham & cheese pastry, just simple ask them to heat it up for a few seconds before you eat it which is what I did. Otherwise, it won't taste as good because it will be cold as their baked goods are placed in display cases all day. Who wants to eat cold ham and cheese? Not me (haha). TIP 2 -- Download their app to get a free pastry with a purchase. The less valued item will be free. The sweet potato pastry ($4) that I got was free when I visited in March 2026. If you don't want to download their app, I was handed a sheet of paper with discounts after I ordered so be sure to ask for it when you are paying for your items. I didn't even know about their app yet until after I received the piece of paper with discounts. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 61/250 total reviews in 2026 - 902 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 30 April 2026
