I was very pleased to find that they sell Theraputty, a typical physical and occupational therapy item. To my knowledge they are the only pharmacy in the area that sells items like this (there are more examples) and I was very impressed. I have filled prescriptions in the past at this location and they were cost-effectively and efficiently filled. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The pharmacy in the Ingalls Flossmoor Urgent Care/Office Building is principally open during office hours so if you are in the building in the evening it is probably not open. If you are in the building during their open hours, stop in and check it out. The 10-29-2012 Yelp entry is not directly involved with Ingalls Professional Pharmacy but with the hospital and client themselves. It is hoped that by this time it has been resolved.

Oh and a fireplace in the seating area just outside the door with a big circular sorta coffee table to place things or great for the kiddos if they happen to be with. Roomy comfortable seating is biggest selling point really and I wish more pharmacies would consider this.

Unfortunately, I come here every month and each time I've dealt with drama., For example, one of the drugs I take as needed for migraines is refilled each month and added to my order despite my calling, visiting in person, and telling them I don't need any refills unless requested. The tech argued with me and said my doctor ordered it so they have to fill it. I told her I don't care. She can buy and take it. Another time my doctor gave me a coupon from a pharmaceutical company for a free month supply of a drug. The inadequate staff took an hour with much back and forth conversations with me and my insurance company. Yes, my insurance Company for a free refill. Now that I live outside of Chicago proper, I no longer have access to some of the specialty markets and grocery stores I used to frequent. Meijer tends to meet my needs when it comes to grocery, home products, casual clothing, personal care products, and gardening. Two things that stand out the most was their gardening products. I had started gardening, so seeds, plant food, gardening soil, and other gardening items were reasonably priced. Being a pescatarian, there vegetables worked for me. But now that I grow my own, the gardening catalog worked perfectly for me. As to grocery, although there has been spike in grocery prices, they were not as high as I noted at other grocery stores. It helps that I take advantage of coupons, specials, and price reductions thanks to participating in their perks program. This store serves four immediate suburbs, so it tends to get busy on weekends, for sure. I go during the middle of the day when I work from home through the week. I have yet to go and not find what I needed. And because I am a very picky shopper, primarily from the perimeter of the grocery store, I have not been disappointed in what they have.
