The staff at the Pharmacy are phenomenal!! They really went above and beyond for my husband today trying to get his prescriptions filled after they were written all crazy by the doctors. They all deserve a raise or a bonus at least. read more

Don't even try the grocery pickup a nightmare. I was having a bad pain day and couldn't stomach walking all the way through the store. Ordered &150 and a pickup. Got an email tHat my order was complete. Upon arriving at Meijer I couldn't find a way to let them know I was outside. Called customer service and they said the order was cancelled because the Shipt person dialed the wrong number and couldn't get in touch. Of course the money was already taken from my account. Meijer customer service inside the store didn't even know that grocery pickup was sn option and gave me the same number already called. Long story short. No groceries and no money. read more

During this COVID19 pandemic, this on/line store is the worst ever! I have been trying every day, for over 14 days, to get a pick up order processed. Nope, hell no!! They don't work. Not busy this Labor Day Monday morning but out of lots of products. Not many cashiers caused for longer than normal lines. Lot patrol not on duty yet as lot was covered with grocery carts. Inside the end room was needing cleaning. Lots of boxes laying around. No available handicap cart to use. This store needs updating and new handicap shopping carts or those that need them. Hard to believe it's been a year to the day since I last reviewed but this visit was less than acceptable. The store seemed short staffed as I looked around in different aisles and departments for help and found none. This location continues to have a problem offering sufficient amount of working electric shopping carts. As a partially disabled person I find this unacceptable as walking through this size store is against Doctor orders. First I encounter yoplait yogurt shortage for light version. Then I couldn't find heavy cream in a size smaller than quart. Follow that up without Kelloggs Corn Flakes on the shelves. I couldn't find the pre cooked Johnsonville breakfast sausage. I walked the fruits and veggies 4 times looking for minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. I finally find organic mushrooms however not what I wanted. After 4th circuit around department I found a willing employee to help find regular mushrooms. Soon after another employee points to the organic shrooms and says they are right there. Which I can see but don't want to pay for organic. She additionally states that they have never offered non organic mushrooms. I asked her to qualify never and she said in her 16 years she has never sold non organic mushrooms. Meijer management I would like to understand the inconsistencies of product offerings between locations. And why a depressed area, compared to say Canton, would not offer both to allow shoppers a cheaper offering. Then I would ask that your purchasing records prove that I have never purchased inorganic sliced mushrooms. Finally spend money to improve your shopping carts for disabled. Replace batteries, purchase additional if need be I live half mile away and go to other stores specifically because I can't count on you. read more

This review is about the Meijer gas station in front of the store. It is suppose to be a convenience store.... not... they no longer carry cream cheese for the bagels they sell, really? The cashier doesn't know why! They don't carry the full size bag of their own brand of chips either... well, they use to... again the cashier doesn't know why. Prices on cigarettes are higher than anyone else around. Their selection of sandwiches is poor... it's really not convenient! On a bright now the cashier was very friendly and the only reason for the two stars! read more

Meijers has it all. The first all round shopping and super store around Westland. The Buffalo Wings by the Deli are pretty good as well.

My mother who is a front line worker in a hospital got screamed at today by a greeter at this location while buying two packs of toilet paper and paper towel. She was shopping with her mother in law that lives in an assisted living so she tried to explain that one pack of each was going to her (even though Meijer has a rule of 2 per household so she would have been following the rules even if they had both been for her). The greeter continued to yell at her. She told my mother that people like her were the problem and my mother told the greeter that she works in the hospital taking care of people and she is not the problem. My mother spoke with the manager and I do not feel they did enough was done about this situation. Saying you will "speak with them" after they screamed at a customer in front of a busy store is not enough. If this is how they allow employees to treat our front line workers, then I won't be going back. read more

This is the Meijer I do all my grocery shopping at. Don't go on a sat or sun or you will be forced to wait in long slow lines. But if you go during the week its a much more pleasant experience. Their food is always fresh and I like that I don't need to be in some club to get the sales prices. There's a Kroger right by my apt but I drive to Meijer for the value and savings without them monitoring what I'm buying with some savings card. read more

I am a huge fan of meijer! I come to this exact location at least 3-4 times a week and every time i have a very pleasant experience. I am always greeted at the door when i first walk in which is a huge plus! Any time i need to return an item or two i never have any problems and the staff is very quick and on top of things. They also have a lot of sales going on throughout the week! I'm never unhappy with the service and the store is always kept very clean! read more

Decent prices, but understaffed. I shop early to avoid the lines, but there are lines due to uscans being shut down. Cashiers rarely acknowledge you and most floor staff ignore you. Good thing I know what I need before I go in to shop. read more

As good as it gets for a discount grocery & general merchandise store. Great employees at this location, most are quite helpful and the cashiers are fast & friendly. Mornings are the best time to go, in my opinion. The stockers are out and they tend to know where to locate things or can at least point you in the correct direction to get a hold of someone who does know. Deli= Amazing chicken. Just make sure you know if it is seasoned. Made the mistake of purchasing salt and vinegar ones once. It wasn't inedible though by any means. Bakery= Wow! Amazing. I swear they have the best cakes around. Media= Great service and they are always in a good mood. Pharmacy= Great recommendations and they take their time. Two things I value highly. Jewelry= The hours typically don't open till 11am (when the actual jewelry reps get in) but the morning crew seems to know what they are doing. The prices are out of this world good too. You do have to keep in mind though that not everyone can be in a good mood 24/7 no matter how hard they try. On occasion, they might seem a little hassled but it's higher stress than you would think. Retail is not an easy job but I'd have to say that they do a really good job considering. Sometimes the lines back up and they start calling team members from other departments to pick up the slack. NO ONE is happy to be in that boat, but they put in the effort to try. Working in retail myself, I try to keep everything in perspective but I would have to say this is the best I've experienced. If you really want the icing on the cake, ask yourself this: Have you tried mPerks yet? Enough said. read more

I definitely love shopping at this Meijer; I know everybody's experience is different but so far, so good, The employees seem overall happy and are very helpful. The store is clean and organized which is definitely hard to do in retail. I use to shop and work at Wallsmart (I know its called Walmart, I just nicknamed it Wallsmart) so I know what a bad retail store looks like. I shop here at least twice a week, usually on my way home and every time I go its always a good experience. I'm definitely a Meijer Guy! read more

I really do not know how anyone could give this store more stars than 1. Every time I go in to shop their sale that starts on sundays your lucky if you get sale items shelves are not stocked and god help you is you use their red phone for assistance you will be waiting awhile for help if any one shows up at all. Usually lines are long customer service is poor ask to speak to a manager and they try to get you a team lead?????? POOR POOR POOR seriously thinking about going to Walmart. read more

This store has the best produce. I like the wide selection at the deli. Everything looks so fresh and delicious. You have to try the Purple Cow ice cream. That should be on everyones list. They have a wide variety of alcohol. The employees are friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable l never overspend here. I get everything l need and some. read more

The best thing about this Meijer Store is their tomatoes. Fresh, beautiful, and ready to eat. Most produce stores view tomatoes as an investment having to wait a few days to ripen. Meijers produce department is impressive. Their baked goods are baked daily and the meat counter offers the usual meats. There's nothing exotic about shopping at Meijer with the exception of fresh baguettes each morning. They offer a cafe that seats about 50. Offering ready made sandwiches, coffee, juice, and pop. I've never visited the cafe but there's always somebody reading the paper over coffee in peace next to a full shopping cart. I've requested the store to stock "Baby Bok Choy" and they got it in a few days, emailed me about the request, and have kept it in stock for quite a long time. I've requested frozen bread dough which they got, and asked for Egg Roll Dough which they got. They dont stock fresh bean sprouts! They offer pre-packaged sprouts (but they look shribbled). This Meijer store is awesome. The floors are clean and sometimes workers tell jokes over the PA System. They offer many spices and international packaged foods. I've never had a problem returning an item and have even returned a package of frozen chicken because it didn't look good after i opened the package. Of course i had my receipt. read more

I was traveling in Michigan and decided to make a stop as a Vineyard I wanted to purchase from in Northern Michigan doesn't ship across State lines, but does sell to Meijer. Service was VERY slow in the check out lane. To boot, I made the mistake of using my debit card and three days later another charge (unauthorized...I don't live anywhere near a Meijer) showed up on my bank account. I just found out that Meijer had a "compromise" in their system, but I'll have to sit and wait for funds to be returned. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Employees do not treat customers very well. Several in particular seem to always be a little rude. Day Manager on duty is not very helpful. Would shop at Krogers where they seem to care about their customers. read more
