He came out, assessed the situation, provided good advice and options on how to proceed. His assessment was that prior moisture issues in our crawlspace had lead to a very squeaky sub-floor which required removal of the existing laminate flooring and re-securing the sub-floor with screws. We discussed the pluses and minus of new flooring options and decided to go with a solid hardwood hickory floor. We chose to remove all the baseboards and existing flooring ourselves which saved some money. The installation crew (Frank, Frank Jr., and Martin) spent a week re-securing the subfloor, and installing the new hardwood floor and reinstalling the baseboards. From end to end the whole process was very professionally handled. Communication with Ryan and the office staff was clear, helpful, and informative, and I can't say enough about the install crew. They were there early every day until the job was done and they were meticulous in their craftsmanship. All-in-all a job very well done. We're very happy with the result and NO MORE SQUEAKING FLOORS!

We wish we had -- before we moved in -- because it really needed replacement. There were areas of heavy wear, stains of unknown origin left by the previous owners, and it was really in pretty sorry shape. Finally acknowledging that we really DID need to get new carpet, we started shopping around. We checked out the big box stores. We checked out the other local outlets. And after getting some quotes, we decided on Fjelland Floors. Turns out we did it right. The first thing you notice when you walk into their showroom (if you're lucky) is Walter. He's the Official Shop Dog. He's sweet and well, professional. As in a Professional Shop Dog. He's really sweet! And then we met the humans who run Fjelland Floors. Burke and Ryan were professional and very knowledgeable, making our carpet selection an easy process. We knew when the materials would arrive, when the installation would take place, and communication throughout was good. And I want to add a big 10-Star review for the gentlemen who installed our new carpet. Rich and Richard were on time. They were professional and attentive to all those pesky details. They were clean in their habits, easy to communicate with and a pleasure to have doing the work. They not only installed our new carpet BEAUTIFULLY, they made sure to clean up after themselves. They are people who care about the quality of the job they did; they double-checked themselves to make sure they didn't miss a detail. I'd hire these two gentlemen again without hesitation. We had a great experience working with Nagl Floor Covering for a bathroom remodel, as well as new…read moreflooring throughout our house. After a bathroom water leak and professional drying & mold remediation, we were left with more of a project than I could take on myself. We needed sections of our 30 year flooring replaced in both the hallway and hall bathroom, a large section of sheetrock needed to be replaced on both sides of the bathroom wall, chunks subfloor and underlayment needed to be replaced; as well as a new vanity and accessories. We knew about Nagl's great reputation with flooring, so decided to check out their website; and discovered they also do bathroom remodels -- perfect! After a meeting with Boston to go over options, we decided on new Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP) for the entire house, along with all new baseboard trim; and we decided on vanity and accessories for the bathroom remodel. Communication was great throughout the entire process. The bathroom remodel was first on the list, and was completed as far as they could go without finishing the flooring. The end result of the remodel portion turned out exactly like we wanted, but we did encounter a few minor hiccups; which Boston and company made right, so I'm not deducting anything for that. You can see from the bathroom photo that it turned out pretty amazing (the toilet was installed after the photo). For the flooring & baseboard portion, I would give 6 out of 5 stars (both for quality and installation), which more than makes up for any hiccup with the remodel. Boston recommended a mid-level LVP option, which was exactly what we were looking for. We stopped by the showroom on a Saturday, and took two flooring samples home with us -- and I think we made the right choice. The flooring is very high quality, and super easy to clean up, if anything is spilled on it. The flooring installers did a fantastic job of methodically getting the planks laid down, while keeping everything perfectly straight. We appreciated the way they worked around our need to keep cats locked away in one of the bedrooms, and then switch rooms once they were ready. It all went very smoothly, and as stated, we love the result. I would very highly recommend Nagl for whatever flooring projects you might have.

Boston worked with us and allowed me to take several samples home to try, as well as giving us recommendations as to what might work and what wouldn't (without trying to upsell.) They have SO MANY things to choose from and while they're a small family owned shop, they're up to date on all the available products and installation techniques. We went with replacement sheet vinyl and the installer did a fantastic job, was on time every day and was very precise. We absolutely love the new floor and are very happy with the service we got from Boston, Gilberto and Nagl Flooring. We'll definitely be back for our next project!
