Some of the staff don't speak great English so go prepared to communicate a little in Spanish. Google Translate works fine!! The language barrier 1000% does not impact their amazing service. We found this place by accident. We had a disappointing experience at the restaurant next door and wanted some dessert. Not sure what this place was before we went in but we're very pleasantly surprised by the bright and upbeat atmosphere! Lots of unique choices will all kinds of very wonderful looking fresh fruit and ice cream. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I had a Bianca bowl with fruit, nuts, and cream. It was phenomenal!! My wife had a couple of scoops of ice cream, also very good. While we ate we noticed they had some food choices too on certain nights and the variety of different fruit dishes is impressive A very delightful find and a place we will definitely be back to soon to start working our way through the menu read more

I was here last week and I ordered a 16oz tropical fruit cup. Mejias is located in dayton tn just off hwy 27. This isn't my first visit. I think it's pretty good value for the price and the service is good. Lots to choose from. This isn't a place to go for a heavy meal. It's mostly fruit and ice cream. They do have some more options such as cheese quesadilla or hot dogs. I'm glad they are here since around half of the restaurants in dayton are fast food. read more

Very friendly service and amazing food!!! I highly recommend!!! Everything is made to order so you can customize. I had the Bionico but I don't like melons or coconut so they left them off. The cream is delicious and all the fruit was very fresh. I also had a peanut butter milkshake. This place is absolutely fantastic! The fruit is so fresh and delicious. I visited for the first time yesterday and it was the perfect treat. I ordered the strawberries and cream dessert and it was wonderful. The cream balanced out the strawberries perfectly and the addition of the pecans and coconut added a wonderful crunch and texture. The workers here are so friendly and the atmosphere is great. You can stop by for a quick treat, but they also offer catering services as well. Interesting spot and I honestly would have passed it up if people hadn't RAVED about it! It's so simple, fresh fruit, cream, coconut, and pecans! Sooooooo dang good! They also have rolled ice cream, traditional ice cream, dippin dots, and "carnival type food". The staff is super friendly and it's very clean. Plenty of parking in the front and plenty of seating inside! They do offer large trays to go which would be perfect for parties, baby showers, or just a treat for the fam! Do. Not. Pass. It. Up. Visited this place in a friends recommendation for dessert after dinner and we were blown away by how good this place was! My wife got the rolled ice cream with 3 toppings and I got the strawberries and cream and it was all delicious! Mine was almost a full cup of fresh cut strawberries mixed with coconut sprinkles and a cream that tasted like sweet fruit dip. My wife didn't want me to eat it all so she could finish it!
