I love this place! They have beautiful jewelry and great customer service. I got this idea in my head that I needed to get some gold jewelry after a friend told me gold looked nice with my skin tone. I was on a mission to get a necklace and earrings that would go together nicely and go with basically everything. I changed my mind and did returns and exchanges a few times. They were so kind and patient with me! I ended up with two necklaces that layer well,plus some hoops with hoop charms, and I LOVE it all! I don't know if "mejuri" is just a name or a word that means something in another language, but if it does mean something, I am thinking it must mean "patience!" Another nice thing about the store is that they have jewelry at lots of different price points. The comment from the manager refers to a previous review I posted while the store was temporarily closed for maintenance. t's nice that they have a mix of jewelry different price points. Right in seaport, the mejuri here is different from the one in New York!! So at this mejuri, you can actually shop and grab the jewelry you want in store- unlike the other store where they have to ship you your purchase in the mail. The space is huge inside, which is perfect for social distanced browsing. They have a rule that you leave any jewelry pieces you touch on the counter so they can clean it before they out it back in display to keep things clean, which is great! I asked about their in store ears piercing services because I wanted to get a piercing and they said they're hoping to hire a professional piercer soon. The customer service was TERRIBLE. My fiancé and I were purchasing an engagement band. We already knew what we wanted before visiting the store, so we thought the process was going to be seamless and quick/easy. Instead, the sales representative in the ring section was extremely rude and snooty. I've never come out of my way to write a Yelp review, but I feel like this needs to be addressed. We almost left the store not buying anything, as the sales rep made it such a bad experience and it was such a turnoff. I agree with the previous review about the sales associate being snooty and pretentious. I have many pieces from Mejuri, but that doesn't make me entitled. This is my second time in the store and stopped by while waiting for dinner reservations for our anniversary. I intended to purchase something as a gift. As I was looking around, I had my eye on a few earrings and had asked sales associate the prices. She did not once made eye contact but just spit the price at me. She toss one item off to the side and said "That's sold out". Not an offer on possibly putting me on a wait list for that particular item. My husband and I were instantly taken aback by her attitude. ZERO out of 5 stars. I'd rather shop online or find a different brand that values their customers. My grandmother and I were so excited to come to Mejuri we stood outside at 10:50 waiting for them to open at 11. When 11 o'clock comes, we try to open the doors while four workers stand inside watching us. They look at us and do nothing. We proceed to stand outside of the locked doors until 11:12 when a security guard comes out to tell us it'll be a few more minutes. However, it is a cold day in Boston which my grandmother wasn't prepared for and she asked I call an Uber because she couldn't stay outside any longer. Working in retail, I know how UNPROFESSIONAL it is to not open on time and to watch customers standing outside while the team is standing around inside putting away jewelry which should've been done hours before opening. read more

Staff seem like they're breathing down your neck and are staring at you. I like to spend my time looking and often don't need help. I feel like I had eyes constantly on me and every few minutes someone would ask me if I needed something. I felt really smothered by the customer service. Also, the lines are NOT long but they do take a very long time for you to get in (if you ever do). Expect to wait 30+ minutes if there are only a few people in line. If Mejuri sees this- when someone comes in for an appointment to get a piercing it is not fair to let them and their friends walk around the store after. It holds up the whole line and their appointment was ONLY for the piercing not for shopping. They should have to get back in line like the rest of us. read more

I am so upset right now. I had bought 3 items from Mejuri and returned all three in stores due to sizing issues. I was told ALL 3 items would be refunded to my card. Today I checked my bank account and noticed only 2 items were refunded. I thought it was odd and checked my Mejuri account and saw I had a store credit for one of the items! The sales associate never once mentioned this would happen!!! Even my return emails don't mention anywhere store credit. I have emailed and texted Mejuri with no response!
