Not a bad place to take your kid on a rainy day. He enjoyed the jump castles the most. The toys were either broken or not working due to batteries....something that should be checked daily. It also didn't seem the cleanest in there. But for the price, it was okay. After going to Bizzy Bee though, I doubt I'll be back. This place is great for parents with kids. The serve some of the best coffee I've had in a long time. The owner, Will was super friendly and helpful. Parents can enjoy coffee and limited food while watching their kids play on the inflatables. They have Wi-Fi so one could theoretically work while the kids have fun. My 4 year old loved this place! He ran around non stop for over an hour while I got to sit on the couch and drink coffee. What a great idea!! This place is awesome! First time visit and my kids loved it. The owner/employees are so nice and personable.... which is becoming rare these days with everyone being so scared of each other. There are clean restrooms easily accessible with real changing tables available for use. They are so close to the play area that you don't have to gather up all your kids and trek to a bathroom-SO convenient! They have a wonderful assortment of coffees, organic teas, and pastries. Plus healthier options for snacks too! Plenty of seating areas outside of the play area if needed. But many seating options inside the play area as well. Prices are really decent. They have rooms for birthday parties and smaller gatherings like homeschool groups, etc. We'll be back for sure! read more

I absolutely loved this place when it first opened. I loved how clean it was, only three bouncers so I could see my children from where ever I was. However, the last two times I have been there it hasn't been as clean. My two children have caught a cold the last two times we have been there. I have never been a big fan of bounce houses, and thats why I NEVER went to Monkey Joes or anything similar. I was nervous about going to this one at first because my kids always get sick after playing in places like this. I am sure it's hard to keep clean, however I took a chance and we been several times. I was very much pleased on how clean it was, and my kids didn't get sick after being there and playing, Yay for that! However, like I mentioned above the last two times we have gone it hasn't been as clean and both my kids now have summer colds. I find it strange the last two times we have gone there my kids have gotten sick. Also, the bouncer in the middle when I went in to help my son smelled like poop. :(. It's great it has taken off and it's doing so well it's a great place just wish the cleaning and maintaining was the same quality it was when it first opened. However the coffee is amazing! I think the concept is nice. The owners are always BEYOND nice the few times I've come in. I don't honestly think the pricing is bad, I think it's pretty well equipped for what you pay for. Here is my issue with this place... and it's got nothing to do with the owners or the actual facility and more to do with being a responsible parent. Beware when you bring your child there. A ton of the parents just let their kids go in there and they sit behind the wall and either aren't paying attention or they are off drinking coffee in the next room. The staff doesn't watch the kids (it's not their responsibility to). So basically you've got babies crawling around with 5,6, and 7 year olds all unattended. Multiple times I've come in, only to turn around and find I'm the only adult in a room of 5 kids with parents not within earshot. The last time we came in my 18 month old kept getting pushed to the ground by a boy and I had to keep asking him to stop, his mother, nowhere to be found. Puts you in an awkward position because you don't want to yell at someone else's kid and you also don't want to tell the parent to do their job. It's not worth that kind of stress for me. I'd just go somewhere else like Rollie Pollies where the staff watches what happens and the parents stay in the room with the children. Like I said I like the idea and the owners are so sweet, but it's bad parents ruining it for everyone else. read more

There are three inflatable toys, a slide, and obstacle course, and a pirate ship. In the center is an infant/baby area so you don't have to worry about the kids watching out for the little ones! This was our first time visiting and it was phenomenal. The staff were very attentive and welcoming. My son had a awesome time and we will definitely be returning. The only downfall to our adventure was the attitudes and stares from the other patrons. My daughter felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave but I advised her that we would stay and enjoy our family time. This is a new time and new era and the old ways of the south do not scare or intimidate me. Parents teach children to become racist and bigots, they are not born that way. Wasn't very good and was very expensive. I would love to give my business to small local business owners, but not if the price is dramatically higher and the taste isn't even better than Starbucks. The same two 16oz espresso drinks would have cost me 2.79 a piece (under $6 total) at Starbucks, here at mellow & play I was stunned by an over $11 total. I should have just left, but I thought it's just one time maybe it will be THAT good. It's not that I didn't enjoy the concept, but I didn't like the prices. I could have taken the kids to Mom's Morning Out for four hours for the price I paid for one hour of play. We had our boys birthday party here this weekend and were so impressed. So many of our guests commented on what a great time they had and what a nice place Mellow and Play Cafe was for the kids. I dont usually go all out for my kid's parties but even with trying to keep it low key it ends up being a lot of work if I do it at my house. I also have to focus on entertaining and as a mom miss out on much more than I would like to. That being said my favorite part of having a party there was that I as a parent got to enjoy the party and relax which was such a relief. We showed up early, set up the room in 20 minutes and that was it. After we were done they cleaned up the room and it provided much less work for us than when we normally do parties at home. As far as price goes I thought it was reasonable considering how it was close in cost with what I have payed for bounce houses before and MUCH less work. Also it was less expensive than most of other places I looked at for doing a party that had similar entertainment for the kids. Sarah was great and checked on us continually and was very professional as well as the rest of the staff. We were super impressed with the whole experience and will most definitely be returning as normal customers. We strongly recommend doing a party here and were so appreciative for the staff making our kids party super fun for the kids and easy and relaxing for us parents. read more

I know it's hard to control all illnesses when around other kids, but the timing can not be denied. LOVE THIS CAFE!!! The play area is set up really wonderfully so you can sip/snack while still keeping a close eye on your kiddos! Lots for the kids to do to get energy out( major bonus points!). We have come several times now and they never get bored of the jump castles! A really well thought out layout! The drinks are delicious- I recommend the lavender lemonade, it's amazing! Check their Facebook page before going in to see if they're running any sort of deals for drinks or play time promos!! I'm big on promoting local shops and I love that they sell locally made coffee/snacks in their cafe! You know your money is going towards supporting families in our community no matter what you buy when you're there and I really like that! You can tell the owners have put their heart and soul into making their dream of a coffee shop/ play area come true (definitely get to know them if you can- such sweet and kind people!!).
