Loving us some mellow mushroom! The crust is just right and the flavors are out of site! They have a cool hippie vibe to their properties that speaks to my younger self. This is a newer location and smaller than some I have been to but it was nice! Of course the food was top notch! Just wish they would add green olives to the topping list! There is actually quite a selection of food options if you not looking for pizza but I really suggest the pizza! Already making plans to come back here with a group! read more

Been to this location about 3-4 times bc I was in the neighborhood and every freakin time the pizza is off. I've eaten at MM all over the US and the food is very consistent except for this location. They put their own spin on it and it sucks TBH. Calzones are bland and pizza sauce is flavorless & the absolute worst. So awful we wont go back here. This is the worst Mellow Mushroom in my area, so much so I am willing to drive an extra 15-20 minutes to go to the further away location. Half the time they close the store outside of their posted hours. They always mess up my to go orders. Which is amazing because I ordered a plan cheese pizza and they somehow manage it o mess it up. They close half the restaurant or patio because they "don't want to clean it again". I am truly amazed this location manages to stay open and I am always disappointed in myself whenever I think they might have changed and I should give them another try. To management: The newer servers hired this month for lunch service should not be working here. We were ignored for over 20 minutes in a restaurant that was not busy -- no greeting, no drinks, no service of any kind. After multiple attempts to get someone's attention, it became clear we were being deliberately ignored. Several other tables also waited excessively long for basic service. This was not a one-off mistake; it felt intentional and completely unacceptable. Whatever the underlying issue is, this kind of behavior will ruin your business. They didn't say welcome in but instead said " um you are cutting it close the kitchen is closing in 30 min" with a snarky tone. I get it was 30 min before close but why would want the one last sale. And it has been consistently great from Mello Mushroom restaurants in Atlanta and now I go to the Mello Mushroom in downtown Auburn. So my very first time at this location. Wasn't very busy at all. Ordered "the works" pizza. Not bad but compared to other Mellow Mushroom's. It just didn't seem to taste the same. Dining in the restaurant you expected to be fresh right out of the oven but honestly it's felt like it sat under a heat lamp or something. Took about 23 minutes for the pizza, medium pizza to reach the table. Although the server was very nice, definitely lack of service no sense of urgency. SAturday night was the worst experience I've ever had with a pizza delivery. I clearly ordered online as left side black olives and mushrooms and all over the pizza both sides Italian sausage. Got a completely wrong pizza. Called the store and they said they would comp my pizza and to just order the pizza over again. I did the same thing with black olives and mushrooms on the left and Italian sausage all over. New pizza came and it was still wrong with only black olives on the left, the rest cheese. So lastly I ordered a beer and I was told I couldn't have it because they "didn't have the button in the system to ring it in". I almost canceled my 2 pizzas because that is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. But we won't be back none the less. While I appreciate both young ladies being honest about their lack of bartending skills, it's unfortunate that they didn't have one person in the building who could figure it out. I'm not sure if they bothered to ask a manager or supervisor. Hopefully my pizza is good, otherwise I'm walking out. Awesome staff. Loved our bartender. We went for a casual beer and ended up chilling at the mushroom. Service was great food was great. Beer came to order. Its a small bar probably fits 6~7 people comfortably but it was a fun night for me. Our bartender even gave us samples of what was on draft for us to try. That was service. They ended up taking longer (45mins) for the order than what they initially said (25mins). They have game/live music going on tuesday nights! The pizza was good, no complaints! Wish the prices were little cheaper. You pay for each topping, the more toppings makes it more expensive. Overall good pizza place if you dont want the fast food chains! read more

I eat here sporadically when I'm at my employers office in Alpharetta. On this visit my boss treated us to lunch. Parking is easy. The interior dining area and patio are consistently clean and well decorated. Service is consistently friendly. They have good vegetarian and vegan food options plus food that has meat for my carnivore coworkers. I ordered the tempeh teriyaki sandwich with chips and a drink. The rest of the group dined on assorted pizzas. Portion sizes and prices are reasonable and the food is consistently delicious. Bathrooms are consistently clean and tidy. I normally order the Kosmic Karma, but decided to opt for the House Special, which basically piles on all the various GF veggie and meat toppings, then adds in some extra cheese to boot. Love it! I prefer table service at Mellow Mushroom, but the more efficient - and less costly - counter ordering system works just fine at this location. Soda, water, and tea refills are do-it-yourself, but leave a nice tip when you pay and the staff may just bring your plates and utensils directly to your table. Bottom line: these kids know how to make great pizza, salads, and hoagies, so order up your favorite items, then sit back and enjoy the feast. read more

We love mellow mushroom pizza, especially the crust, and frequent the restaurant around the Atlanta area; however, this particular MM was not as consistent. We were very disappointed in the quality of the food. Ordered carry out for two large pizzas and a Greek salad. The pizza had too much oil sitting on top of the pepperoni and the pizza, itself- the box was saturated with oil. The pizza was stone cold and we only drove 3 miles from the restaurant. The salad was sub-par with huge chunks of the lettuce you typically throw away. It was clear the salad was the gross ice berg from a bag, not fresh romaine lettuce- the way it should have been! We ordered online and arrived 15 minutes early, the restaurant did have the pizza ready which we appreciated and the chopped ingredients on the salad were good but again, the lettuce (which is primarily what a salad is composed of, was inedible). This type of shortcut with the pizza and salad is unacceptable and deters me from returning. This area has tons of other pizza restaurants with higher quality product. read more

Disappointed with this mellow mushroom. My bf went to pick up our order today at this location. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, two chocolate chip cookies and a gallon of lemonade. The pizza was fine, but it was so oily! The oil was just pooling in the pepperoni slices and we had to use a paper towel to get the excess out. The cookies were both STALE. They only had one chocolate chip left so they gave us a sugar cookie to replace the other one. Both were literally hard as a brick. We couldn't even take a bite of it - it was that hard. We ordered a whole hoagie with tater tots as a side. When we arrived home it was a half, spoiled hoagie. Kindly, they offered to replace it and so today we went to pick up a new dinner for her. The hoagie was fresh and tasty and Hannah was so friendly and helpful. Went in and saw a sign on the door that said " Closed, Pick up welcome" so we decided to go in and ask if we can place an order togo at the counter and the man started explaining to us very rudely that he's turned all the ovens off and to read the sign. The sign was very misleading given we assumed we were able to get a pizza for carry out. Them not being able to seat us was not an issue, it was the nasty attitude he had as if we were supposed to know upon entering that they turned the ovens off. I have been coming to this MM almost weekly for years. The pizza is great and the staff is friendly. The salad is always fresh. It tends to be crowded at lunch, especially with large groups from local offices, so you might want to time your visit so you don't arrive between 12-12:30. My last two visits at the Windward location resulted in my getting an eight piece pizza with 20 pieces of pepperoni for $2.99. Onions, peppers, banana peppers all $2.99 for about $.15 worth of food.
