    House Special aka Combination pizza
    Kori H.

I've been wanting to try this place since my first visit three years ago. It's good pizza for sure. The place was busy on a Friday night as expected. We had the combination pizza. The veggies on this pizza stood out. This was wonderful! Really balanced with toppings. I love how the outer crusts are finished with a parmesan cheese. Crust was great. I'm so curious about the flour that is used for their crust. It isn't all white flour for sure, maybe a blend? It tastes different and it looked a little more yellow than white. Its not a bad thing at all. Just different than most crusts I've had before. Edit: according to the menu this pizza we had is GF. I added a photo about the dough. Everything tasted good. Try the Parmesan chicken wings while you wait for your pizza. They are delicious!!

I'm a fan. Been in Gatlinburg, Savannah, Asheville, now Bristol. Great experience every time. Trippy cool decor, laid back servers, straightforward menu, no complaints here. We split a cobb salad and a medium Holy Shitake, as good as ever. The crust is amazing, quality toppings and plenty of them. I usually try to patronize the Mom n Pop places but hands down, this place gets my vote.

We waited over a hour on a medium pizza and a refill on a soda my salad was not very pleasant either. I was most disappointed when my pretzel bites came out and the waitress said they were out of beer cheese. I wish I would've been informed I would've ordered a different appetizer.

No wait to be seated but service was really slow. Our waiter also disappeared on us. Pizza was overpriced and did not have any flavor. The pretzel bites were good. The chicken wings were very tiny and had barley any meat on them. The wings came only with 3 pieces of carrots and 3 pieces of celery. Would not come back here again.

A pleasant surprise after biking. This bar and grille was recommended. It took rather long to get our burgers, but it turned out to be woek the wait. A juicy burger, with melted cheese and slices of pickles. Loved the roasted red potatoes as the side vs the norm.

This was the first chance I've had to eat at a Mellow Mushroom in years and it didn't disappoint. When we got in, it took a very long time for us to get service. We didn't get angry, but a server came over to apologize for the wait. The server came over a moment later and she apologized too. We didn't feel like we were owed an apology, but the staff doing so is something my Wife and I appreciated. We started with the pretzels and beer dip and and they were fantastic. The pretzels were a bit crispy and brown on the outside and the inside were soft and had a little bit of chewiness, which is just how I like them. The beer cheese was also pretty fantastic and I almost considered getting more cheese dip just for the pizza crust. I ordered the Veg Out and just like the pretzels, the pizza was great. My pizza was loaded with toppings and I've always thought that the toppings go beyond what you'd normally expect from a pizza place. If management reads this, I'd like to send my thanks to the staff. I was really stoked on being able to eat here and the folks and food were even better than I remembered.

We are new to the area and have been trying lots of different places. This place was phenomenal. Everything was fresh, served hot and very tasty. We loved the music and the decor. Our server was friendly and the food came out at a decent time. We will definitely be back! Thank you for the great meal today!

This is half of the vegan hoagie with tempeh it had very good flavor

Lindsey took great care of us and our Dog on the patio. I had the mushroom pizza I forget what it was called on the menu but it was good and my boo had a vegan hoagie with tempeh and vegan cheese which was also good. It wasn't on their menu he saw it on an online menu and they were able to make it for him. So this is a good place for vegans as well.

Always a fun place to eat. The pizza is always good, good selection of craft beers and my 3 year old loves coming here.

This restaurant!…read more (The Hilton Garden Inn hits all the marks too, but as I have nothing to add I'm not updating that review.) My husband ordered five enchiladas each with a different stuffing. While delicious, unless you haven't eaten since last Thursday, who can consume so many enchiladas?! I shouldn't talk. The house special quesadilla -- always excellent -- is a lot of food. Ever resourceful, I took half back, put the chicken and peppers on a bagel and ate it for breakfast! (Note to self AND my husband: next time let's split one and maybe forego the steak and chicken. Chorizo and shrimp?!) Moving on, the salsa bar is great with smooth, chunky, mild and spicy salsas. That's not counting the warm bean spread brought to the table with their thin and crisp chips. Our margaritas -- $6 each -- are not only good but pretty, topped with berries and a flower. Here it is, Monday night -- not a typical going-out day of the week -- and the place is busy with locals. Pretty good testimony to what's become one of my favorite Mexican restaurants.

When my meal arrived I tried a scallop and it was awful. Cut another one in half and tried it...still terrible. Ate a few of the fried shrimp which were lukewarm warm at best and decided...wow, this meal sucks. The potato was fair. A server came and asked if I was done and I said yes...it wasn't very good at all and he could certainly see that I didn't even eat a 1/4 of my food. When my partner was done with his meal, which he enjoyed, the female bartender took his plate away and I said his meal was good, mine was awful. Both of the workers that I spoke with about my meal couldn't care less. I suppose it was my fault for not asking for a manager, but as someone who has worked in restaurants, one of the employees should have done something...anything to show they cared and tried to make things right. Left a $7 tip on a $70 bill (which was generous, considering my bad meal) This place has been hit or miss and this night was a huge MISS. Definitely won't ever come back to this location. We will drive the extra 20 minutes and go to the Abingdon location. Never had a bad meal there and the service has always been top notch.

We tried the popcorn shrimp, which are breaded and crispy. Really great. We of course, had to try the Mountain of fries - these are matchstick fries and the best part was the three different sauces that come with it. The chipotle ketchup was my favorite. We also tried the wings, which were good..I am not a huge wing fan, though. The jalapeno poppers (wrapped in bacon with a cheese filing) were great, as were the steak nachos. And of course, the hummus with the fry bread was great, too. My hubby liked the hazy IPA that was on draft. Even better at $3.50 a pint during Happy Hour. I really liked the cocktails - some of my favorite was a new espresso based tequila (for the summer menu) and the creamsicle. The bartender told us that a local podcast offered to make them coasters and he said yes, but only if they make them as queer as possible. They were playing some alt music on a record. My first choice was the Limonada Hard Italian Soda. This was absolutely delicious! The tartness from the lemons was noticeable but not over powering and this was a very drinkable beverage. I don't like seltzers at all, yes this wasn't a seltzer but it did have a bit of carbonation that I did not mind. The other customers inside were friendly but not awkward, especially for us being the only 2 women in there at the moment the bartender was super friendly and they had a nice selection of local brews from the area. My wife ordered a peanut butter and jelly beer from the Knoxville TN area as her 2nd drink. PB & J beer doesn't sound so appealing but OMG it was phenomenal. Title: First (and last) visit to Cascade Draft House - rude bartender ruined it…read moreWe walked into Cascade Draft House on a sunny Friday early evening--first time, just my husband and me, excited to try local beer. Another customer handed us a menu, but it took forever for the bartender to come over. When he did, we said it was our first visit and asked for help. He suggested a couple options, poured two samples for my husband. He walked off to help another ( no biggie) I didn't care for his sample choices. I took a minute to decide, I picked mine and when the bartender brought my samples, I thanked him, he snapped, "You need to hurry up and pick one." We were floored. My husband asked if me he really said that. When he came back we ordered two of the same beer. My husband approached him calmly about his rude comment. The guy shot back, "You've had like six samples already," (4) then added, "The more samples, the more dishes I have to wash." Like we're the problem for ordering in a brewery. He laughed and joked with regulars outside--chatting, pouring beers--but treated us like we were wasting his time. We he brought our beers my husband approached him again and he said " I'm not trying to be a dick". My husband said "oh it must be busy", the bartender replied yes it's busy and I can't do orders and run the cards all at once. This is a no brainer job, as I've done it before, it doesn't get easier unless you're paid to sleep. Place wasn't even busy: eight at the bar, a party of five out back, three tables came in after we ordered. The atmosphere was relaxed, smiling and joking. Not us. We ordered a total of three beers (the dishes!) I watched this guy waste more beer by pouring it, not paying attention to what he was doing. The four samples we had didn't even create 1/4 of a cup. A woman came over to cash us out she was warm, friendly. While we were there she kept glancing over like she knew something was off, she might've heard his rude comments. The beer was very good out of Kingsport Tn, but we won't go back. The Pinnacle area has Kickback Jacks and Monroe's that also have great beer specials. Not to mention the other places downtown that serve drinks. That bartender's lucky we stayed--only because we didn't want to cut our day short, my son was with us and was enjoying some time walking around downtown area. Zero tip, I feel bad if they have to split tips at the end of the night. One bartenders rude, uncalled for, unacceptable behavior ruined it for others. I'm in Bristol once a week, have my favorite coffee shop, shopping area, a place to go for a cold one is now still in the works. If you're new, skip this place. The beer might be good, but the attitude's poison.
