Gorgeous old building with fast service, fun music, and yummmmmmy dessert! We got the brownie overload which was chewy and covered with ice cream topped with whipped cream and caramel!

This was a random stop. We decided to eat here because it was an experience. Apps: fried pickles. They were good but kind of normal. Meals: 1/2 rack with coleslaw and sweet potato fries and toast. The meat was really tender and full flavor and they had a lot of meat on them. The coleslaw good it was creamy. The sweet potato fries were ok with a sauce. They provided bbq sauce and honey mustard. When you combined the two it was dynamic. Pulled pork with sweet potato fries and Mac and cheese and toast. The pulled pork was really good and the sauce combo made it something really special. Mac and cheese was average. Sweet potato fries see above. Swiss and mushroom burger with fries. Was really good the meat was juicy and the mushrooms and cheese were flavorful. Salad and soup. The sales was a salad. The soup you can see in the picture was very chunky and very good. The seasoning pulled it altogether. The toast. Oh my! I ordered a side of the toast. It has a special seasoning that makes it phenomenal. I am not typically one to eat bread but I would go back for the toast. The service was good. We were well taken care of during our meal. Southern hospitality was definitely present. Seemed like a nice bar to relax it and they served good food.

As I finish my second visit to State Line B&G I have to raise the stars to five. Giving five stars isn't something I do thoughtlessly; to me, five stars means they are the best I have had. State Line B&G has the best wings I have ever had; they have the best sauces I have ever had. Today I got onion rings as a side (my guilty pleasure) and their onion rings were fantastic; honestly, not just really good, they were fantastic. Their wings are the best. Try their Dirty South with Raw Dawg for dipping; in fact, I got their Whiskey sauce on five and Dirty South on five and dipping both in the Raw Dawg. Fantastic! As disappointed as I was across the street at a place, supposedly known for wings, I am impressed with State Line B&G for crispy and well seasoned wings.

Fried green tomatoes appetizer with pimento cheese. Delicious!

Great place for wings. Hubby and I tried another restaurant on State Street in downtown Bristol. Didn't really know what to expect. Sat at the bar and chatted with the bartender. She mentioned it was 99¢ wings night. So we ordered 20 bone-in wings with four different sauces, for variety. They were very flavorful, crunchy and delicious. Also tried the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. Very good. Washed it down with some drinks and listened to the live bluegrass music. Overall it was a great visit. Thanks, Kate, for the "Kentucky Sunrise" coffee liquor with bourbon. Hubby loved your concoction!

Bar & Grill located in the historic downtown Bristol, TN. The atmosphere was a cool vibe and a popular place for a tourist bite to eat. They had typical bar grub...burgers, wings, BBQ, and fried appetizers. I opted for the wings with 1/2 wings with their dry rub season and the other 1/2 their "Buffalo" wet sauce. The waiter said the dry rub was the house BBQ rub for all the meats. I found to be sweet and faintly a spice hint. The flavor for me did not sit well on the wings. I found the wings to be over cooked and dry. The buffalo wet wings were unimpressive as very little sauce and again all over cooked and dry. My wife had 1/2 lemon pepper and 1/2 garlic parmesan wings. She did not like them at all. Overall out "wing " experience was disappointing. The staff was slow in providing drinks and basic check-ins around the table. It is unknown if it was due to lack of staffing or just a lack of customer service. Definitely would go back but stay away from the wings.

This place was suggested to me as I wanted a sports bar. The NFL playoffs were on. I had to ask them to change the channel as they didn't seem aware that these games were on. The staff was friendly and attentive. I only had a few beers. I ordered nachos with just cheese and jalapeños this foregoing their standard nacho ingredients. They were served with queso cheese and not yellow cheese. Ugh! I only ate a small portion of my order. I did enjoy the atmosphere and the crowd was cool

Wow! These are the best wings I have ever had! I went with the sweet chili, many flavors available to mix and match. Great prices, great environment and super friendly people. Menu has something for everyone. Thank you Annette and Marcus

What type dancing. Is it all line dancing or does it also accommodate the older public with slow dancing.?

Our DJ plays top 40 music. Really all genres of dancing at some point throughout the night.

Hey friends! I went out with some new coworkers to this cool spot downtown…read more This spot is the rose that grew from concrete. Bristol is a rural town but certain areas are becoming more chic, such as this rooftop bar. I ordered a brown sugar old fashioned to start with. It was AMAZING. I would definitely recreate it at home, the flavors balance perfectly. For my entree, I had the chicken sandwich. The batter was perfectly crispy and seasoned well. I like that they use chicken thighs, which are juicy and makes for a delicious sandwich. Fries were okay, I wish they weren't steak fries. +Our server was friendly! She recommended great menu items. +Limited parking +Outdoor seating with a beautiful overlook of the city. Indoor seating as well. +Prices are a little above average. +Restaurant was clean and well stocked. I hope enjoy!

Hands down, people, this is the best bar in Bristol. Why?…read more Happy Hour! M-F from 2-5pm, all the Shareables are 50% off and drinks are really discounted! It's a really great way to try the food! Food (5/5): Elevated bar food! The kitchen from the downstairs restaurant, Vivian's Table, makes the food and it is really delicious. We tried the popcorn shrimp, which are breaded and crispy. Really great. We of course, had to try the Mountain of fries - these are matchstick fries and the best part was the three different sauces that come with it. The chipotle ketchup was my favorite. We also tried the wings, which were good..I am not a huge wing fan, though. The jalapeno poppers (wrapped in bacon with a cheese filing) were great, as were the steak nachos. And of course, the hummus with the fry bread was great, too. My hubby liked the hazy IPA that was on draft. Even better at $3.50 a pint during Happy Hour. I really liked the cocktails - some of my favorite was a new espresso based tequila (for the summer menu) and the creamsicle. Service (5/5): Everyone up here is super nice - the manager Landry, bartender Raine and all the servers were really fantastic. Ambiance (5/5): Location - This is the top of the Bristol Hotel, and one of the only rooftop bars in Bristol. From the top you have a lovely view of the famous Bristol sign, great when it lights up at night.

As we wend our way to Florida, we spend the night in Bristol for one main reason. This restaurant!…read more (The Hilton Garden Inn hits all the marks too, but as I have nothing to add I'm not updating that review.) My husband ordered five enchiladas each with a different stuffing. While delicious, unless you haven't eaten since last Thursday, who can consume so many enchiladas?! I shouldn't talk. The house special quesadilla -- always excellent -- is a lot of food. Ever resourceful, I took half back, put the chicken and peppers on a bagel and ate it for breakfast! (Note to self AND my husband: next time let's split one and maybe forego the steak and chicken. Chorizo and shrimp?!) Moving on, the salsa bar is great with smooth, chunky, mild and spicy salsas. That's not counting the warm bean spread brought to the table with their thin and crisp chips. Our margaritas -- $6 each -- are not only good but pretty, topped with berries and a flower. Here it is, Monday night -- not a typical going-out day of the week -- and the place is busy with locals. Pretty good testimony to what's become one of my favorite Mexican restaurants.

Ate here 2 weeks ago. Sat at the bar like we always do, ordered some drinks and our meals…read more I decided to try the fried scallops and fried shrimp with baked potato. When my meal arrived I tried a scallop and it was awful. Cut another one in half and tried it...still terrible. Ate a few of the fried shrimp which were lukewarm warm at best and decided...wow, this meal sucks. The potato was fair. A server came and asked if I was done and I said yes...it wasn't very good at all and he could certainly see that I didn't even eat a 1/4 of my food. When my partner was done with his meal, which he enjoyed, the female bartender took his plate away and I said his meal was good, mine was awful. Both of the workers that I spoke with about my meal couldn't care less. I suppose it was my fault for not asking for a manager, but as someone who has worked in restaurants, one of the employees should have done something...anything to show they cared and tried to make things right. Left a $7 tip on a $70 bill (which was generous, considering my bad meal) This place has been hit or miss and this night was a huge MISS. Definitely won't ever come back to this location. We will drive the extra 20 minutes and go to the Abingdon location. Never had a bad meal there and the service has always been top notch.
