Down in the area visiting family and we met with my cousin here since it was near where she was going to school. Ordered lunch yesterday from their lunch menu. I ordered a half hoagie (steak and cheese) with tator tots and a drink for $10. The hoagie was good, but it had a little too much pepper. I also wish the tator tots were a little more crispy. The young lady who took my order was very nice and helpful during my ordering process. Someone at the bar ordered cloud 9 wings. Very accommodating staff for our large party of 11. We ordered the free pretzel bites for 1st time Yelper check-in. They were served piping hot and we opted for the non-spicy beer cheese. So good! Whenever I visit the south, I try to go to mellow mushroom for a gluten free/dairy free pizza. This location did not disappoint. I ordered to-go with an online order right when the store opened. My Oder was fully correct, including all of my changes, which is not always the case. The salad was well made with plentiful toppings and the pizza was to die for. The toppings and cheese were just great. The hostess was nice. This MM is local to me and quite convenient. This location has been there for 20 years or something like that, so consistency in their food is established. Went for pickup of 2 large pizzas and they have a pizza warmer. Nice! The 16" Veg had fresh vegetables and plenty of them and the other we got was a 16" half and half cheese and pepperoni. While I understand their pizza is said to be amazing, this is our go to for gluten-free pizza and a solid greek salad. The esperanza salad dressing is amazing and the cider options do not disappoint. The price point is a tad steep for the size of the gf pizza, though the topics are fresh and plentiful so it's not completely ridiculous. We have always had stellar service and pick up is a breeze. I was "sugar" and "darlin'" at this establishment. I really liked their raspberry sour beer on tap. It definitely is a true sour with strong flavor. I ordered the HOLY SHIITAKE pie for several reasons: I love mushrooms, the server highly recommended it, and I thoroughly enjoy puns/play on words. I added sausage to mine because, why not. SO good. My husband, my son, and my son's baseball coach have been raving about this place. I am finally here and had to try this place. At first walking in I noticed the mushroom motif which I liked. For the seating, it had a little bit of everything (booths, tables, high seating and bar seating). We were greeted by the friendliest host. I noticed he was never just standing around doing nothing. He was always doing something (disinfecting the tables, clearing tables after customers left while greeting the next customers). Ordered the Cloud 9 chicken wings with the garlics Parmesan sauce that were so tasty and steaming hot. Also ordered the Holy Shiitake Mushroom pizza. I love mushrooms and they did not disappoint. What made it perfect was the truffle oil, shaved Parmesan and garlic butter. We also had the best waiter Benjamin. He was so nice, professional and inviting. Took our drinks orders quickly, asked if we wanted to order any appetizers, took note when my husband didn't want onions, and checked on us often to make sure everything was going well, got us refills on our drinks and thanked us for dining there. This is the first place that I was truly impressed with the food service and ambiance. Lastly, I am all about service and this place had gone way above and beyond. Impeccable! (Although I'm sure some people like all that flavor!) There wasn't a ton of chicken or bacon on the pizza, moreso just cheese and sauce. The crust -- honestly the biggest reason to come to Mellow Mushroom -- was amazing. Perfectly fluffy, garlicky, and topped with a sprinkle of parm cheese.
