Always delish pizza! We have eaten at the one in Paducah, KY. Service was great and the environment was good. It's a basic place. If you ever get the chance to go to the Paducah location you won't be disappointed there either. That location is in an old coca cola factory. It's very very cool and fun to visit. read more

Stopped by for lunch between two appointments in the same shopping plaza. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza for dine-in. It was served in a big carryout box. I asked for a plate and was told they didn't have any plates at the time, but she gave me a plastic to go container (to use as a plate?) I asked for garlic powder and oregano, and was told by same person that they didn't have either. A few minutes later, she brought me garlic powder and Italian seasoning. That was fine with me. Quality has gone down but prices have gone up. We have been customers for years. We have always loved the mushroom pizza that was full of mushrooms. Tonight's order was extremely disappointing. Hardly any mushrooms on the mushroom pizza and barely any pepperoni on the pepperoni pizza. Eighty dollars for take out dinner that I was so excited for. Cancel everything I ever said about this location! Absolutely awful service! We sat down 8:30 pm got our menus and it took our server a few minutes to come and ask for our drink order, peach tea for my Honey and beer for me. Once we had that in we ordered the pretzel bites and our pizzas and salads. (About a $70 order) We had to ask for silverware and when she brought it out it was plastic silverware where as everyone around us was using metal silverware. So I went and asked for silverware and the girl told me that they were out. Their dishwasher had called in sick. There were nine employees in the store at this time! Evidently they are all too good to wash dishes. So when I looked around to count the employees in the store the "manager" came and asked if there was anything wrong. I simply said if I wanted to use plastic silverware I would've gone to a fast food restaurant. Her answer was well maybe that's what I should've done then! I could not believe what I was hearing! So we got up and left. On the way out of the door I asked for the name of the owner of the store and their phone number. When I tossed the pen back on the counter she said "oh so mature" and I said oh and your answer to me earlier was so mature and she told me to get out. I will definitely be reporting them to corporate and also calling the owner of their store. Completely rude, uncalled for and terrible service. Michaela or whatever her name is (she'll spell it for you) should be fired immediately! It's too bad too because we love mellow mushroom and restaurants left and right are Failing. With service like this I'm sure that the store won't be far behind! *Update* The owner of this restaurant contacted me via email shortly after I posted my review. He sincerely apologized for his employees behavior and offered me a generous gift card. Evidently Michaela lied to him and said that I cussed at her! I declined the gift card as we will not return to this location as long as it is so poorly managed. We won't be the last to have terrible customer service from Micheala and walk out. I want my compliment to overshadow all of the other insults about MM Lake Oconee. First off-the food.... Pizza, calzones, buffalo dip, pretzels/bites, beer cheese, marinara.... And the salad & dressings!!! I prefer from scratch but who needs it when the owner is ordering clean'er w/ better ingredients dressings? So yummy & passes for homemade! We LOVE the menu here!!! The Vegan brownie. Amazing! And i AM NOT a vegan!! The from scratch cookies made daily that sell out quick....awesome!! Second....we all have off days, busy days, days where some ppl think their ____ smells like roses-days & days a table a waitress busts her ___ on just to get a skimpy insult of a tip...days. I use to be a waitress & have worn many hats in my life & they work hard!! ++++But from the moment my family & myself took a chance on a chain restaurant in this area I felt like family. Could it be we are understanding ppl? Perhaps. Not uptight? Perhaps. Open to the fact we are all human & many of us just trying to survive through our day while raising a family? Yep.... Definitely time for an update on review. What a difference good, consistent employees make in a business! Walking in even with the remodel going on the employees welcome you in. We sat at the bar to order pizza to go and we were surprised to see Crabbys Ginger Beer! We snacked on garlic cheese bread with a warmed marinara sauce as we waited for our pizza. We ordered the Cosmic Karma pizza. The pizza was perfectly cooked. Crust was fluffy , lightly browned. Cheese was evenly distributed and the basil drizzle was swirled!!! Had dinner with family last night and food and experience were great. only issue I had was staff was confused regarding patron ability to carry home an opened bottle of wine we purchased at the restaurant. we have done so in the past but management was adamant that we were not allowed to do so last night. One of the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. No silverware because apparently the dishwasher had called out today. Everyone else around us had silverware but when we asked (they didn't bring any with our salads) the waitress plopped some wrapped plastic silverware on our table. My wife wanted to talk to a manager and was looking around when a girl came to our table and asked if there was some problem. My wife said that if we wanted to use plastic dinnerware we wouldve gone to eat fast food. The girl then said that maybe we should've done that then. With that, we decided to get up and leave. We weren't expecting such a rude response. I hate it too because Mellow Mushroom (other locations) are one of our favorite restaurants. We won't be back to this one. read more

Online ordering and pick up process was fast, on a Saturday evening around 7:30PM. The food quality was high as always - awesome pizza and salads. The disappointment was from seeing cooks not wearing masks properly (under the nose) and the business not requiring customers to wear masks or social distance, and no discernible sanitizing of surfaces, pens, etc. Come on, guys... you can do this. read more

The Mellow Mushroom in Harmony Crossing is the best place to eat pizza in Lake Oconee, along with their salads, calzones, and wings. They also have a great-tasting gluten-free crust that even a regular gluten eater can enjoy. It was one of the first meals we ate when we first moved into the area 15 years ago, and it continues to be our favorite casual place to dine and bring our kids (and we have not tired of it). Their outdoor patio is a great place to sit and relax when the weather is perfect. They continually update the menu, so you will always have something new to try. The service is always friendly and prompt to meet your needs. Like everywhere around the lake, you may have to wait on weekends and during peak season, but you can call ahead and pick up your order for carryout. read more

If I could do a 0 star I would. Brought a semi large party tonight from out of town. We called 2 weeks ago in advance. Called again today, everything was good & set. When we got there, only had 1 server for us. And she was extremely rude the entire time. Had to ask multiple times refills, plates, napkins, silverware etc. The waitress made extremely rude and snobby comments the entire night and 2 of them were to our 89 year old Papou. After the bill came, we explained multiple times we didn't get this order and continued to make us pay for it. After enough was enough, we asked to speak to the manager and found out this 22 year old server of ours was the manager! It was a HORRIBLE experience and we will NEVER be back! read more

We waited two hours to get third degree burns. We arrived at Mellow Mushroom at 7pm. We were very aware of the time, as we had just left a different restaurant because of a one hour wait to get a table. Upon arrival at Mellow Mushroom we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks. Ordered appetizers. Ordered our pizzas and Calzone. Drinks came out. Then the waiting began. After one hour passed? We noticed other tables around us were getting their food. We were still waiting on pretzels. Eventually salads and pretzels came out. Meanwhile ... We watched other patrons sit, order, eat and leave. By 8:45pm, my nephew received his pizza. We sat and watched him eat it. On a positive note, he seemed to enjoy it very much. As time passed each person at the table received their food. The next people to receive their pizza were my parents. My youngest nephew (who still hadn't eaten) watched my parents eat their pizza and kept asking "why is this taking so long". By 9pm, my brother and I received our calzones. Before I took a bite of mine, I realized that they might've just come out of the oven. I realized this because of the high pitched scream from my brother as five hundred degree pizza sauce dripped on to his leg. After the manager tried to defend everything that had happened ... She eventually said that all of the pizzas would be taken off of our bill. Upon receiving the bill? To our surprise ... Mellow Mushroom has always been my favorite pizza, but while visiting my Mom in Greensboro this location leaves much to be desired! We called in our order for 2 pizzas, pretzels and a gallon of tea. When we arrived we were informed their card machine was down so the "hoped we had cash." Really, you couldn't tell me that over the phone when I placed the order. Second they gave us a cup of tea. I said "No, we ordered a gallon." The person responded with "Well I heard a cup." "Well, I ordered a gallon." "Well I heard a cup." Seriously why would order 1 cup of sweet tea for the amount of food I ordered??!! Customer service needs to be taught and stressed here! Although a chain based specialty pizza shop, the craft of making pizza is one that must be mastered to perfection. It all starts with the dough, in this case it seems lile the dough its very tasty and well seasoned. If you can master the dough, the rest is simply creativity and concoctioning the perfect ingredients. Keeping the ingredients organic also makes a huge difference, we ordered the Holy Shiitake pie; this pie is a must have for any mushroom lover (cremini, portabella and button mushrooms) and as if that was not enough we added crumbled sausage on top. I enjoyed every bite of it, right down to the last bite. Oh did I mentioned the pizza was drizzled with a bit of truffle oil? All i was missing was a fine bottle of Rioja at table side to call it a 5 star Bruch on a lazy Sunday afternoon. If my doctor allowed me, i would eat here at least twice a week.. We also ordered the tie dye..it was good as it chicken, tomatoes, basil, currry and thai chili sauce. Had a large order of chicken wings..that were delicious..
