Vegan pizza ( vegan cheese, onion, garlic, spinach )

The crust is spectacular- I was quite underwhelmed by the vegan cheese ( very salty ); my wife absolutely loved the garlic. The waitstaff was on point. Though the table hadn't been wiped when we were seated. They have multiple big screens so on game day I'm sure it is busy.

Taste: 5/5 Value: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Mellow mushroom is that rare franchise where it's fun to try new locations and experience their unique aesthetic, and like all the others, this location is great!Trippy atmosphere and delicious food, one of the best places to go for pizza. I highly recommend the Holy Shiitaki pie, but I've never been disappointed by anything I've ordered here. This location now seems to be heavily influenced by UCF, but still has its psychedelic vibe. They have plenty of seating inside and also some outdoor seating available. I will admit that Mellow Mushroom is a little more pricey than most pizza places, but the food is so delicious that I can't fault them for the raised prices. Good service, good food, good atmosphere.

Wanted to have some pizza for wrestlemania last week, I decided to order some from this restaurant since it's 10' away from my house & recommended by a co-worker. I ordered 2 medium pizzas (holy shiitake & steak) from their website to be picked up & they were ready when my gf arrived. After opening those boxes, it's cool down a bit fast so I guess I will just order 30' ahead for next time (I ordered at 4pm and asked to pick it up at 6:30pm). The holy shiitake was great while the steak was just okay. Good thing, they didn't make them both too salty. Price was reasonable. Staff did open the boxes for my gf to double check before leaving, very kind. Plus, I love the design of the boxes, very nice. I'm going to return for the holy shiitake, this is my pizza spot from now on.

'Twas and dark and stormy night and I was hungry. Decided to pull over on Colonial to what I hoped would be a pizza place and not a dispensary. I was in luck! It was a pizza place! Thanks be to God. And thanks be to God that the pizza was divine. I got a medium and split it between the Thai Dye and Holy Shiitake pies. Holy indeed was the truffle flava flave of the shiitake side. Divinely transported was I to a mushroom lovers heaven. A natural high! The Thai side didn't particularly have me Thai-Ed to the flavor but maybe it was the chicken that turned me off. A clear mistake in my haste to order 10 minutes before closing. In its defense the chicken wasn't tough and was curry flavored. I like curry. So, it was ok to decent. The crust was chewy and more importantly with a strong garlic flavor. My fave. (sorry, to my fans who dislike garlic or onions). Since it was a Wednesday night and dark and stormy to boot the pizza loving crowd was thin. Myself and a couple sitting next to a camera less gimbal on the bar were the main occupants in this psychedelic spot. I've been to some other pizza joints at this time in Orlando like Lazy Moon for example and they were better frequented. I'm surprised there weren't more students here since its near UCF. Maybe, they were at the dispensary nearby called 'Cannabis' (subtle, eh?) Well, if I had to choose between Cannabis and here I'd say this place was a clear winner. The service was friendly. The pizza pie deliciouso. And well, better to eat pizza than to do drugs. So says I. The price could be better but with Bidenflation there's really not much to be done but eat, drink, and be merry because tomorrow isn't guaranteed. Plus, it's not a bad last meal. So come out and get your mellow mushroom on!

Sunday lunch, no trouble getting seated quickly, few larger tables. Enjoyed Country Club sandwich, included side of chips. Party of 3, menu had plenty of options for everyone.

Their pizzas are all soooo good! I don't recall the name but they have a meat pizza which is just decadent. And the Great White is a fantastic white pie. Just keep in mind this isn't "normal" pizza and for the love of Pete don't compare it to NY pizza and then call it terrible! A small pie is enough for one person with a leftover slice. Medium for 2 people. And a large can definitely feed 4 especially if you get that over the top meat pizza! Also a great place to go with a group, grab drinks and a bunch pies and just hang out.

We happened to be in the area, on the way home we were both hungry and pizza had been talked about a lot. Mellow Mushroom is not near our house, so it was the perfect time to stop in. We've been here a few times, always a good time. We walked in, were promptly greeted and sat. First impression, very clean. Many tvs with sports on, so if you need something to watch, they have you covered. Our server came up, took our drink order and came back. After a bit, we finally figured out what we decided on. My wife got the great white, which has sun dried tomatoes, provolone, feta and ricotta. A great variation of a margarita pizza. I couldn't make up my mind, so I got pepperoni and half sausage peppers and olives. It wasn't too long of a wait, during that time our server would check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. Then, out comes our food, they say you eat with your eyes first, and wow, both of us agreed, everything looks amazing. Just to clarify, we both got smalls, which is 4 slices. The menu covers all of the sizes, etc. we wanted to try a bit of everything, that's why we got 2 pizzas. First off, both were amazing, I would recommend any of those, which is a good sign, I would think the rest are about the same. While we are enjoying our food, our server would check on us, make sure we have everything, any refills on drinks, etc. Anyway, after about halfway through, we both started to slow down, so, sure, I guess we will get a box for the rest. Now our server, I apologize, I don't remember his name, maybe Nick, I'm probably wrong. I'm sorry, but he did an amazing job. Well, most people would be finished, but of course I had to see the dessert menu. Nick brought one over and we decided on the peanut butter cookie topped with ice cream and chocolate. It took a couple of minutes, but it was worth it. The cookie wasn't very hot, more like slightly warm. Nothing wrong with that. If it wasn't getting late, I might have gotten another, kidding, maybe. As soon as we finished, Nick was right there, clearing up the table, we got the check, it was about what you would expect, not over priced, great price for some pizza and dessert. Service was top notch. Well, I would definitely recommend this place. The food was great, service was great. There was a large table next to us, looked like a birthday party, maybe 15 people. If you have a big party, I would recommend it, great place for a grown up pizza party. I believe they have a full bar which we did not utilize this time. Overall, if you try it out, there's a chance you might see us, well, if we're in the area

Our server, Cooper. Very sweet guy, respected my whole group.

The service was divine. Our waiter, Cooper, was attentive, very sweet, there wasn't a long wait for food & you could taste that the food was truly made with love & knowledge. Every bit of my personal pie pizza you see there was DELICIOUS. Although it has a lot of ingredients, it's not overwhelming. The restaurant itself is very mellow. Trust me, you'll get back home with a happy spirit & full belly.

Absolutely delightful atmosphere. Great service. Our pizza was fast, fresh, perfectly made. We will be back!

Left= BBQ chicken pizza with ranch drizzled on top Right = gluten free pineapple

I haven't had Mellow Mushroom pizza in a long time and decided to try again and got a BBQ chicken pizza with ranch drizzled on top and gluten free pineapple. The BBQ chicken got messed up and bacon was put on instead of chicken but the manager was super nice and gave us a refund for that one. The gluten free crust is kind of tough and chewy but the flavor is so good. The building is super cute and has mushroom decor! They are pretty expensive for pizza, our total was $42 but overall would recommend! They even have different drink specials each night (like $4.50 sangria and $4 off margaritas :) )

The crust was perfectly crispy, which is exactly how I like it, and the pizza had great flavor. Service was quick, and we got our pizza faster than I expected. The atmosphere definitely has a fun college vibe, which makes sense being near UCF, but I could also see it being very kid friendly and comfortable for families. I also loved the decor, especially the real plants hanging along the walls. It gave the place a cool, relaxed feel and made the space stand out. The prices were very affordable, especially considering how large the slices are. Great pizza, huge portions, crispy crust, quick service, and a fun atmosphere. Definitely a place I'd go back to whenever I'm in Orlando!

These things are huge, thin crusted, and unless you possess some serious pizza folding skills, best approached with a fork and knife. First up was Jason's Mom's Slice (JMS): tomato sauce, chicken, sauteed mushrooms, caramelized onions, tomatoes, ranch, Jason's Mom's sauce, and mozzarella. Flavor wise, this was my favorite of the two. The caramelized onions were especially good, although I wish they had been distributed a little more evenly across the slice. My only real issue was the crust had quite a bit of sag. I suspect the large tomato slices placed directly on the crust released moisture as they cooked, making an already thin crust difficult to support. Next was the Meaty McMeatface Slice (MMS), loaded with tomato sauce, birria beef, ground beef, pepperoni, bacon, and mozzarella. They aren't kidding about the "meaty" part. The birria was the star and added a nice depth of flavor, but overall I found this slice a little dry. A side of Jason's Mom's sauce would probably have been the perfect companion, although it comes with an additional $1.50 charge. I also ordered the small Greek salad, which was anything but small. It came loaded with perfectly ripe tomatoes, red onion, cucumber, black olives, fetta and pepperoncini. The menu lists romaine lettuce, but what I received looked and tasted more like escarole or frisee, with a noticeable bitterness. I'm not certain what the green actually was, but it definitely didn't taste like romaine. The menu also mentions roasted red peppers, though I couldn't find any in my portion. I liked the dressing, but the salad could have used a little seasoning. I didn't see salt anywhere around the bar where I was sitting. Maybe there was some near the drink station, but apparently, I wasn't motivated enough to launch a salt expedition. The ordering process is straightforward. Walk in, order from the counter underneath the overhead menus, grab your drink, and find a seat. I asked for water and was initially handed a small plastic cup for the self-serve station. I asked if I could get a cold beer pint glass instead, and they happily accommodated the request. Thank you! A small gesture, but one I appreciated. There is plenty of seating, although the bar stools where I sat felt sufficiently rickety to make me question their structural integrity every time I shifted my weight. Total damage was about $37 including a 20% tip. To be fair, the portions are substantial. I boxed up leftover pizza and salad and finished them for breakfast the following morning, so there was certainly plenty of food. Still, for two slices and a small salad at a counter service pizza joint, the final tab felt a bit steep. Overall, some very good flavors and gigantic portions with a few execution and value issues. Jason's Mom won this round, although next time I might ask her to go a little easier on the tomatoes. And yes, giant cold pizza for breakfast remains one of life's underrated pleasures.

This location is cute with an open floor plan, black and white photos, many tvs, and an open kitchen. I started the evening off with an espresso martini. For the bar only having about 3 people and the restaurant not full, I was surprised at how long it took to get the drink. It was a pretty good martini. Our server was very nice. Let's get to the food. For an appetizer, we started with the grilled cheese brisket sliders. The brisket wss juicy and I enjoyed the dipping sauce that was paired with it. For entrees we got the 6oz bistro steak and the classic tavern burger. The steak was cooked great and the sauce on top was delicious. The meal comes with veggies and potatos. I asked for the chickpea fries instead of the potatos. I was shocked to see the bill at the end that I was charged the full amount for a side item of chickpea fries. I get an upcharge for a more premium side but I did not get the potatoes that come with the meal to have the chickpea fries instead. Also the chickpea fries have a much mushy texture now than they used to in the past. The burger was decent with no complaints there.
