Mellow Mushroom is a great place with a fantastic atmosphere and fun, courteous staff. It can get a a little noisy because the place stays busy, but I don't see that as a bad thing. It keeps the atmosphere and energy high and makes it a fun place to dine. read more

Awesome place! Fantastic beer selection both draft and bottled, good range from your basic domestic to high end microbrews/imports (ordered a great Belgian triple). Nice selection of vegetarian dishes that aren't just meatless versions of other entrees, I ordered a grilled tempeh sandwich (think tofu with a heavier texture) that was fantastic. My friend ordered a personal pizza with onions, tomatoes and curry chicken garnished with cucumbers and said it was fantastic. Would definitely come here again. read more

Beer was good and cold, pizza was good, lots of TV's that are viewable from almost anywhere. I do not know what some of these people on here are saying but they are all viewable and new looking. The place is very very clean as well. The one in Destin that I live close to is more of a dive bar and they make pizza there. So this was a little refreshing. read more

The food tasted well, however, the service is terrible! The owners do not care about how slow their service is nor do they assist their employees when there is a "rush" or large group. We had a group of 16 and it literally took 1hr and 42min (we timed them) to receive our food and still did not get served everything that was ordered. Our server-Riley-was OUTSTANDING and did everything she could to meet our needs, however, there were only 2 servers working, 1 behind the counter (to include the wife of the paired owners), 2 cooks, 1 stocker who worked alongside the husband of the paired owners. The 2 servers had to make the tea, bus the tables, seat the customers, wait on the customers-to include taking of the order for food & drinks, refill drinks, and provide the final bill-run/deliver the food orders to the tables, handle any customer complaints, and roll the silverware. Meanwhile the wife of the paired owners, stood behind the counter with the other young lady and placed silverware in the food, such as a knife for a calzone or a pie server for a pizza, before the servers had to run/deliver the orders. The other young lady just took phone orders and put together pizza boxes. When I approached the husband of the pair regarding his service-of course I waited until he was done working with the stocker on ordering future items-neither him nor his wife seemed to truly care about the lack of staffing and interaction they had with their employees for assistance or training needs. Based upon all of the reviews we read during our long wait, this is not the first time nor the last time this establishment has received a less than stellar review regarding their customer service. My recommendation for anyone is to not eat there unless you have an afternoon to waste! read more

Food was good. Waitress Lexi not so much. Maybe she was having a bad day, but seemed put out to be waiting on us.

We ordered the Funky Q Chicken Pizza. We were expecting barbeque chicken on the pizza, but they covered the entire pizza with a strong thick barbeque sauce. The crust was very thin and didn't taste good. We didn't eat it and asked for the check. Our waitress asked if we wanted a carry out box and I said no. I thought for sure someone would ask if we didn't like the pizza or if there were any problems but they didn't seem to care that we left our order sitting there. I called back later the same day to speak with a manager. The manager explained they made the order correctly and had no plan to compensate me or provide a different pizza in it's place. Definitely the best pizza in town, and probably the best I've had. Yes, this is a franchise, but thankfully none of these will let you down. I have visited a couple of different Mellow Mushrooms and they don't disappoint. The dough is what sets it apart; a sweeter dough than the common pizza, it's not something to skip over and eat around. Huge specialty selection including the "Caesar" pizza, a chicken and cheese pizza topped with a caesar salad, which is one of my personal favorites. Locally known for their huge beer selection, Mellow Mushroom carries 90 beers, draught and bottled. These vary from week to week. If that's your kind of thing, this place is perfect for you. Full bar and a ton of huge TVs. That being said, weekends get obnoxious with intoxicated GA football fans. Atmosphere is excellent, casual, relaxed, and service usually is too. Wednesday nights host karaoke, and Thursdays trivia. It gets very busy on the weekends, but quality does not lack. Pizzas do take a long time--upwards of 15 minutes and near 25 sometimes...so if you're in a time-crunch to catch a movie, I advise arriving at least an hour and a half before. Unique, open, and vibrant building is pleasing to the eye, but the place gets very loud at high-volume times. Food is very expensive! Don't plan to come here with $20 in your pocket. Perhaps my 3 star vote is a little unfair. I'd give most Mellow locations(Atl area) 5 stars but this one loses two stars. Not because of the food though, which is just as awesome as any other location. Great options for things other than pizza which is a huge plus for the lactose intolerant. But this location is pretty hideous inside if you ask me. They've got these big dumb orbs hanging all around the wall blocking their TVs. Stupid. If you wanna hang out and watch a game good luck finding a decent spot. The patio looks like it could be good, but nobody uses it and they don't do a good job of promoting it. It's too modernized or something, does't have the same feel as other Mellow Mushrooms. Ok done. I feel a little guilty about my snoody review, but whatever. Friendly service and good food at least so it won't keep me from going back. Oh...and it doesn't seem right that I can't have a beer at Mellow Mushroom on Sunday...stupid south Georgia. read more

Food is good and servers are usually good however management is horrible. I broke a tooth on a piece of Bayou Blue pizza and asked to speak to the manager/owner. When the waitress came back she said the owner said that I must have broken it on a fennel seed in the sausage and to just tell me that. She would not come to the table to speak to me about it. I will not be going back. I have found that Johnny's Pizza in Bonaire is better food, better service and much better management. read more

Interesting gourmet pizza options on the menu, but the product somewhat under-delivers. I found the crust noticably sweet and somewhat spongy (frozen? underdone?) and the sauce a bit bland. The ingredients seemed fresh though, so all told it is a better pie than you'll get from one of the big chain delivery companies. Greek salad was fresh, but ingredients not as flavorful as you might expect for a Greek salad--supermarket-quality calamata olives, for example. Though this isn't properly a brew pub, I'm adding it to my list because of the great beer selection with some hard to find delicious beers. However, some of the beers are much more expensive than others, and the beer menu doesn't give prices. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised that Hobgoblin (a good Brit pale ale) was expensive, but $6 for a pint? YGBSM! That was a surprise when the bill came. Service was efficient and polite, but too rushed to be friendly (or warn me about the $6 beers...) On the plus side, I got a table for one despite arriving in the midst of the GA/Auburn game and a kiddie birthday party--well done. Lots of big-screen TVs all over made watching the football game easy, so it's a good stand-in for a sports bar.. read more

After 9 hours of being on the road driving from Miami to Warner Robins, I was so happy to find this place. I was in the mood of good food and the Mellow Mushroom delivered. Excellent food. Lousy service. The wait staff are very young and inexperienced, and it shows. No offer to refill drinks. Waitress asked if we needed anything after we asked for the check. Then she was super nice. Yeah, she wanted her tip. We left a ten percent tip and a note on the check, "Lousy service". Took 25 minutes for pizza to come to our table. $25 for a large house pizza. Papa Johns tastes better and is cheaper. Crust was paper thin. Calzone crust was dry and had little flavor. Great decorations. Several large screen LCD TV's. But many of the TV's showed the same thing. Little variety, so why bother with so many screens. Also several screens over the kitchen are blocked by large lights. Again, why bother if you can not see the screen. read more

Mellow Mushroom is the only best vegetarian restaurant I've dined in Warner Robins, GA. Since I have been a vegetarian for a couple of years, I have enjoyed a number of the healthy and vegetarian meals, especially my favorite "Avocado" hoagie. Of course, I enjoy my favorite wine or cocktail at the bar many times. Mellow Mushroom is one of only 2 best restaurants ever I've dined in Warner Robins since I moved here from another state last summer. read more

Not sure what's happen to this MM lately. Our family eats here at least 5-6 times a month. We really like the pizza and several other menu items. Within the past month or so, something has changed. We visited on 1/31, a Tuesday night and were seated and placed our order promptly. Over an hour later, still no food in sight. Our waitress did say it was coming up a couple times, but I think this was just to tide us over. I don't think the problem is the wait staff, they seem to be really busy. The problem is management and/or the kitchen staff. They were not really busy at all for the delay we experienced. About 20 minutes into our visit, they fired up a game of trivia, which will almost make your ears bleed. The sound system they use is horrible. You can't understand the DJ when asking the question, then they play the music so loud you can even have a conversation at the table between questions. Maybe cancel trivia and focus on customer service. I posted this on FB and within an hour, I had over 20 comments from friends with similar experiences at the same MM. I hate to see a good place to eat make my blacklist of places not to visit, but it's quickly headed that way. Please, turn the ship around, fast! read more

Ok let me start off by saying the only reason this restaurant doesn't get 5 stars is because I have been to other Mellow Mushrooms so I have a basis for comparison. Atmosphere? Totally contrived. The interior can only be described as a "yuppie-fied acid head trip with extra money thrown at it for some fake swank" I mean really, the repro 60's and 70's music posters and album covers don't even pretend to be authentic and the not-hippie-style balls floating from the ceiling? Re-do it in gray and silver and you would have a hotel lobby. Every time I have been there I have had to ask for an outdoor table because it is SO LOUD inside I couldn't hear the waitress or my tablemates. The patio is great when the weather co-operates and they don't have one of those awful amateur bands playing. The place is always overcrowded, and you have to elbow your way past rude people to follow your hostess to your table, or to get to an empty seat at one of the bars. Enough about the atmosphere... Food and drinks both get 5 stars. I love that they have both an indoor and an outdoor bar with a bartender for each. The beer selection is amazing! Best in middle Georgia by far, and on a par with Taco Mac or a specialty beer bar. Join the Beer Club, it's worth it! Also they have a full selection of mixed drinks if beer isn't your thing. The menu... atmosphere notwithstanding, they actually do have the same fantastic and wide selection as any other Mellow Mushroom! I recommend every one of their whimsical pizza selections. Or, roll your own for the perfect taste combination! If you like spicy, any of the Creole selections are great. Toppings are always fresh, and things that should crunch, do. The pesto and alfredo sauces are both excellent compliments to almost any toppings. Great crispy crust too. I've also ordered many of their salads and never been disappointed. They will split the salads for you, even the small ones, and will put dressing on the side, just ask. Just make sure you yell your order loud enough so the waitress knows what you want, it will save you lots of disappointment later. Our waitress could barely hear our order. We had to constantly repeat ourselves because of the noise, and missed the part about "leave off the olives and onions." We had to pick olives and onions off our pizza and almost cried over the lost cheese and yummy pesto that clung to the discarded tidbits! Also be ready to yell or wave to get your waitress' attention. Like I said, the place is always busy. They try hard, but expect the waitstaff to be stretched a bit thin. We've been back a few times and I'm upgrading them by 1 star. The last time we went there was 12/21/13 for dinner. Every time I order a calzone since I dont care for their pizza. The calzones are great. However, this restaurant tends to hire younger adults (our last server was 18) and the majority don't really provide great service. Our server was inattentive and it took forever to get our food. He took my son's cup for a refill and forgot to return it until we asked about it. Then he took my daughter's cup (those plastic kiddie cups) for a refill and brought back an entirely different cup which concerned us because we think he swapped ours out with another guest, though he claimed to have given her a new cup. Anyway, I'll still eat here on occassion just because my kids like it, but if you're looking for five-star pizza and excellent service, keep looking. read more

This restaurant is close to our house and we are pizza lovers so we hoped to be regulars here. First couple of visits were fine, food and service were great. Then we found a hair stuck to the bottom of our pizza. Didn't go back for a while. Then we decided to give it another try and, again, fine for a couple of visits then a hair in my salad. Didn't go back for a long time and wanted to try again. Another hair! We always called this to the attention of the server and once to one of the owners but evidently nothing was ever done to correct the situation. We won't ever go back. A friend and I went to the Mellow to meet up with a group of friends, we all order, everyone gets their food except for me and the waitress just tells me it just takes a little longer because of what type of food I ordered, 20 minutes later the waitress approached me and informed me that the kitchen did not even cook my food, the mgr came over and was very polite and she offered my food on the house, I accepted but as I sat there and started thing about it made me angry because i had to sit and watch everyone else eat, long story short i got my food for free and the person's i went with also but that was just unacceptable for it to take that long, their logistics and communication with each other need to very much improve. read more

Love their pretzels! I am a huge fan of their pizza as well...always consistant with quality! Waitstaff is overall a good bunch. Have only had one food issue in all the times we have eaten there and that was quickly fixed and a new food item was made. There is young lady named Savannah and I always call in my order for pickup and she is very polite and courteous to me, and when I go in to pick up my order she knows me by face and quickly get my order and provide the best customer service (which is hard to find these days). Yes it was a busy Friday night. Yes it was very crowded when we arrived. The wait was over the 25 minutes we were told. The wait staff was over worked. Our waitress was friendly. BUT taking our order took too long and we were misled about the size of the appetizer plate. Because it was so late in the evening our three grandsons were very hungry and unhappy about the delay of even the pretzel rolls. More root beer was offered but food would have been better. The pizzas finally arrived. We had ordered a large pineapple and ham pizza, the boy's favorite. I'm sure you can imagine their disappointment that it was a pepperoni and ham pizza, no pineapple in sight. Our waitress brought out a small dish of warmed pineapple which we spread over the pizza. Not the same thing! She offered a free dessert but due to the hour at which we finally ate the answer was no thanks. What we should of replied was "take that amount off of the bill or subtract the price of that large pizza since it wasn't what we ordered. Not sure we will return again! read more
