Food was really good! Everything was well seasoned. I literally could eat the rice and beans alone with the veggies. They have outdoor and indoor seating. I'm glad I got to experience the outdoor seating on a warm summer day. Parking is a little rough but I heard it's easier to find parks on the weekend. Robert was amazing and hospitable.

It seemed a popular local restaurant. We were visiting from another state, and arrived after 8pm. There was one patron before us, and two more after us. For late dinner, we could choose large or medium box of four different entrees. Jerk chicken brown stew was our best choice. Jerk chicken was special and delicious itself, but we did not like the sauce on it. Chicken curry was very tasty. Oxtail was cooked thoughtfully and in a strong sauce. There were about 20+ seats inside.

Jerk Chicken, Rice and Peas, cabbage and plantains (I ate the plantains first) well flavored The rice really taste so good I could eat it alone and the jerk chicken yummy, the cabbage was cooked to perfection not soggy. I really took too long to visit and support but once I did it was well worth it. I'll definitely be back. Oh and the homemade sorel and pineapple ginger drink definitely needs to be bottled love every minute of it I need the saline versions of both, cannot get enough. Thank you

Ordered take out. Service was excellent because the food was delivered early, hot and well packaged. Got the jerk chicken and oxtail dinner. The oxtails were well flavored. I prefer mine w a bit more juice but they were not dinged for it. Peas and rice and plantains well made and flavor pad was the cabbage. The jerk chicken had gold but not great flavor but it was on the dry side. Like it was over cooked possibly. But I would give them another try to make it up because it wasn't terrible. The portion sizes are great too. Every ting was irie.

Always satisfied here. Flavors, portions, options. It's everything you want. I can always recommend the oxtail. The jerk chicken is what you want. Fried chicken is great. Cabbage is also a yes. Rice was saved for breakfast. So much I couldn't finish. Amazing. Plantains...wish I had more. I'll always give this place 5 stars. Keron is a gem. Have a conversation with her. And then give this place all your money. Seriously, try everything. If you have a family, treat them. If you have a bunch of friends, order this to the kiki.

We stopped in before heading to a concert, and overall the food really hit the spot. We ordered the rasta pasta with chicken and the oxtails with rice and peas, plus patties as appetizers. Everything was flavorful, well-seasoned, and honestly reminded me of the food I had in Jamaica. Definitely satisfied my craving. The ambiance was cute and had a nice vibe, and the drinks were good as well. The only downside was the service--it was a bit slow since there seemed to be only one waiter covering the entire restaurant. Because of that, I'd probably avoid coming here if I'm on a tight schedule. That said, I'd definitely come back again when I have more time to relax and enjoy the experience.

We went on Sunday at about 5:30/45 and the host said there was a wait as he was waiting for parties with reservations. So we found a reservation on open table for 6pm. Still, we waited about an hour to be seated. There shouldn't have been open reservations without table availability. The host was super nice so no blame to him but still, this was a miss for the restaurant. Others left due to the wait time. I ordered the stew chicken, my friend had the curry chicken and my sister the oxtail. They enjoyed their meals, but my chicken was overcooked and chewy. The flavor was great, however. The cabbage and rice and peas were just ok. I had the mango mojito mocktail. That was tasty and was a good amount. Lastly, we ordered the bread pudding. When we saw it, it didn't look like traditional bread pudding nor did it look very appetizing. The taste was worse than the look. It tasted like it was downed in alcohol and was hard. I couldn't eat the bite I took. We sent this back, unfortunately. So, there were good and not so good parts of my experience here.

I also tried the Jerk Chicken Pasta Alfredo, which was good. The chicken was a wee bit dry and I wish there was a wee bit more alfredo sauce. As sides, I got the corn-on-the-cob, 2 piece festival (Jamaican dumplings), plantains, and a beef patty. They were all great additions adding so much flavor and textures to the meal. I especially liked the festival because it was crispy on the outside, and soft and sweet on inside like cornbread. The plantains I saved for my last few bites since it was sweet and juicy. Notes: Overall, a super solid Jamaican/Caribbean restaurant on the UES that offers delivery. The delivery fee for me was $2.99, not $4.99 as shown. Well worth it because my taste buds were satisfied! Chef Kwame Onwuachi's Afro-Caribbean masterpiece tucked inside Lincoln Center is the kind of meal that makes you go quiet mid-bite. We ordered the Bodega Special, oxtails, Mom Duke's shrimp, the wings, and the collards, and every single dish was a 10 out of 10. No weak links. No "it's fine." Just plate after plate of food that made me want to stand up and applaud. (We're at Lincoln Center, it felt appropriate.) The oxtails were fall-off-the-bone tender with a rich, glossy sauce that had layers I'm still thinking about. Mom Duke's shrimp arrived dramatic and beautiful, whole shrimp in a deeply spiced sauce that felt simultaneously fancy and deeply soulful. The collards were unlike any I've had. Complex broth, perfect greens, gorgeous presentation with edible flowers that somehow made the dish feel even more intentional. How is a bowl of collards this exciting?! And then. THE WINGS. I don't throw around "best wings of my life" lightly. I have eaten a LOT of wings. These wings broke my brain. That glaze, that crunch, those dipping sauces. I genuinely don't know what Chef Kwame did to them but it should be illegal. Life changing. I will be back for the wings alone. The room is stunning, the plating is stunning, the whole vibe is fun and lively and cool without trying too hard. This is the best meal I've had in New York in years, and I live here. Book it the second Resy drops the reservations. Do not sleep on it. Do whatever it takes to get a table. You will not regret it.

I didn't even like the cosmic brownie. :(…read more Over and over during my ten-year anniversary dinner at Tatiana, I kept thinking some variation of: "is this it?" This is the best restaurant in the entire city according to the NYT and various knowledgeable food-fluencers? What are they so excited about? I think Tatiana's high-low is great for two groups of people: a snooty Columbus Circle crowd thrilled by the novelty of elevated and safe Real New York Cuisine that makes them look woke; and well-seasoned ordinary New Yorkers who are gratified to see their culture and childhood getting its fancy due. But there are better ways to experience NYC's particular brand of global African diasporic food, and better places to have a fancy dinner. My husband is from Jamaica, where complaining about a restaurant's rendition of any Caribbean dish is something approaching a national sport. But I think he nailed Tatiana's problem when he tried the goat curry patties, hesitated for a moment, then said, "it's like ... they want to elevate this, but they haven't taken time to get the basics of a patty right yet." I'm a vegetarian who doesn't know Jamaican cuisine, but I had the same reaction to the scallion pancake: this isn't a good scallion pancake. Where's the crisp? Where's the sesame oil? Why is it so thick? You gotta nail that before you start innovating. A lot of Tatiana is fine but ordinary: a bright piri piri salad with lots of avocado, a spicy margarita that tasted like a watermelon jolly rancher, cornbread with some kind of eggy butter, okra sliced lengthwise and fried within an inch of its life, a brownie and ice cream masquerading as bodega snacks, a loud soundtrack that overpowers conversation, and decor that could have been a fancy hotel lobby in Cincinnati. I don't think I was missing anything in the long months of no reservations, and I won't be back. I get all the winks and nods to the experience of Chef Kwame's upbringing in NYC: a world of takeout Chinese food, Jamaican patty shops, egusi, bodega chopped cheeses and Hostess donettes. But I'd submit that those ordinary originals are perfect, and I found these elevated reinterpretations paradoxically ordinary. You want to experience real New York, even though you never had a student MetroCard? It's out there. Go forth!
