I got the mix platter, which honestly was just okay. The meat tasted mediocre, sauces could've been more flavorful, and the fries were soggy. Portions are huge though, so each platter can easily be split into 2 meals. Come here for quantity, not quality. read more

Be mindful that you don't need to pick salad as a side because with your two sides you literally get to pick what salad you want from the salad bar IN ADDITION. Protein is plentiful and the overall portion is super generous. I usually don't get chicken because I find it to usually be really fatty and never be quality but I opted for the half chicken half beef/lamb combo just to give it a go and was pleasantly surprised. Quite possibly the best halal spot in Queens. Open late, I tried their lamb and chicken combo at only $10. It was an enormous amount of food, that no possible way one person can finish. First time trying today for lunch and let me tell you, it lives up to the social media hype. It had everything going against it for me. Places to eat in Astoria are plentiful but its quantity over quality. Plus, they seem to have a lot of different food options instead of just focusing on traditional halal. But let me say the food was fantastic. I got the chicken platter with salad and fries. The fries were and stayed crispy. The rice was incredibly fresh as was the salad. The chicken was surprisingly great quality and flavorful. I had then put every sauce in it and each was incredible. The service was fast and super courteous. The establishment was spotless. The food portions are too much to finish which makes it a couple meals. At 9.99 that's terrific. And impressively the presentation was great. For the amount of food and sauces it wasn't a wet sloppy mess. Even after a 15 minute walk home. That's a testament to the quality and consistency of the products. I've been to a few good Halal food spots, but this place is something else. Saw a video online about it and was not disappointed. We got 3 pcs of fried catfish, two smash burger combos that comes with fries and a choice of drink, and a chicken platter with rice, pita, and fries. Added another patty on each not knowing that the regular already had two still wasn't disappointed. The flavor of the fish was amazing and they were huge. The burgers were the most valid delicious smash burgers I've ever had. Some of the best overall burgers I've eaten. I recommend getting the Huncho sauce ask for like 2 with each meal. The service was top notch they even gave my family and I more sauces to take home. I will be coming back best believe. Worth the price we paid for all that food. They know what they're doing.
